Breakfast with an awesome view, good service.
Spread was decent, fresh fruits and egg station.
Room had a nice view of the garden which was kept clean daily by staffs.
Security was tight, felt safe throughout the whole stay.
The room is very old, but it is a pleasant stay! Room Service is also good. Special thanks to Aya and Sara for their exceptional hospitality-they were friendly, attentive, and made our trip even more enjoyable. Thank you both for your outstanding service! Highly recommend.

+ very good service from everyone at the reception to the staff at the restaurants
+excellent location- very close to Luxor Temple and Karnak temple and not very far from the other major sites such as Valley of the Kings
+breakfast buffet was lovely, fresh eggs made to order, pancakes and waffles and big selection of other foods you’d find in a hotel buffet
+I paid about $33 for a dinner buffet, which was great! Freshly made mini burgers were delicious. Cans of soft drink/juice/water included
Facilities: The room is not small, the toilet is quite big, and the bathtub is not very convenient.
Hygiene: Not bad, no unclean places were found, the quilt was pilling, but it was still clean.
Environment: Next to the swimming pool, it is convenient to get in and out, and the overall environment is good.
Service: Very friendly, there is an uncle in the lobby who can speak simple Chinese, and he has been very enthusiastic to tell us what to do with the simple words he knows.
We arrived late(3am) and past check-in time(12pm), and we knocked on the hotel door with no answer. We had to curl up in the car that night. It was actually our own fault for asking and forgetting to inform the hotel of our arrival time, but the hotel still refunded us for the night we didn't check in, and they were very friendly and made our night's unpleasantness disappear
and the hotel is near the hot balloon area which has a very good view of the balloon, just like these picture
Great Location on the more quiet side of Luxor, The West Bank with a 2 min walk to the ferry crossing point.
Only real issue was the dogs that reside outside had a barking match at 4am on night.
Stayed for 2 nights, as it was Low season (start of summer) There was only one other guest in the hotel so I had the place to myself inc the swimming pool which was clean and refreshing to use after a day trekking around the local sights.
The breakfast wasn’t great but understandable as they couldn’t do their full spread as there wasn’t enough guests to accommodate but it was adequate enough with Egg’s, bread, fruit with coffee and tea, I didnt get to check the rooftop restaurant as i didn’t want them to open due to its quietness,
They did accommodate me with a beer on arrival and later by the pool. No Wifi in room but great by the pool area.
Also the place a pretty dusty but everywhere in Egypt virtually was so this was not a problem, although the room was very clean with great air conditioning and view of the Nile.
Would certainly stay again on my next visit, the locals were fantastic.
There is currently construction in front of the hotel of a welcoming plaza for the ferry port which didn’t effect my stay/sleep but will be a wonderful addition once completed.would 100% recommend.
The hotel was okay. The facilities were good and the staff are very helpful. The room is a little dated but still very nice and clean with an amazing pool. We were upgraded to a Nile view which was nice. The sunsets by the pool are also gorgeous. Great location as base for day trips in Luxor.
The only annoying thing was being pestered by vendors to buy at their shops inside the hotel(some wouldn’t take “no, thank you” for an answer), I understand they need to keep business going but all I wanted to do was relax by the pool after a long day of touring and fighting off vendors all day. The food here is also awful (gave free school hostel food vibes), we tried dinner twice and room service in addition to daily breakfast . We paid about 3000EGP for 1 buffet dinner and it was definitely not worth it. Our least favourite food from our 2weeks around Egypt. You can pay less for delicious food elsewhere.
The stay here was okay and staff were generally friendly and nice. No expectations of or demanding tips.
Yasser and his team are amazing!
The location is brilliant tucked out of way from the busy areas of West Bank but only a 10 min walk to all the shops and restaurants you could want and 15 mins from the ferry to east bank
Mohammad is very polite friendly and also will give you a lift on his motor like to places if you like!
The food I had here was better than alot of the places I ate in my 11 days in Egypt easily top 2
The room was spacious clean and well equipped and the roof top pool and bar were brilliant with a pool table and table tennis.
I was a solo traveler so Yasser and the team offered for me to join them for some food and pool if I wanted to which I enjoyed!
If recommend this place for everyone and anyone 10/10
Fantastic location just 10 minutes walking distance from Luxor temple. The hotel has beautiful gardens that lead down to the Nile. Choose a Nile view room and you can see across to the Valley of the Kings and the balloon flights early each morning. Excellent service especially from Semon and the reception staff. Good choice at breakfast and 3 restaurants. The outdoor pool is on a pontoon floating on the Nile. All in all excellent.
The building is very distinctive. In the morning, the light from the holes in the ceiling makes you feel like you are living in a castle. The garden outside is also very beautiful. The outdoor garden environment for breakfast is also excellent. The hotel is next to the river, surrounded by grassland, and you can see cows. However, don't think that what I said is a garden hotel. Because Egypt's overall infrastructure is similar to that of China's second-tier cities 30 years ago, the entire road to the hotel and the surrounding area of the hotel are very shabby and dirty. This is not a problem with the hotel, but a problem with urban infrastructure. The service is very expensive. The waiter is the most decent working state I have seen in Egypt. The attitude is also good, but not particularly warm. There is a sense of distance from the official business. But it is indeed a rare and professional service in Egypt that makes people feel safe. If I go to Luxor again, I may still be willing to choose him, but I have two complaints. One is the way to the hotel. If I take a taxi at night, I will feel scared. It feels like the car takes you to the countryside. The feeling of an alley leading to nowhere is not known. Fortunately, we chartered a car and there is a third party to supervise at any time, so there is no need to worry about anything. The other is the hygiene problem I saw in the comments before. It's strange. My daughter's face was full of lumps after sleeping. This has never happened in other worse hotels. I also brought disposable pillowcases because I read the previous guide. It's just that children don't sleep well and don't necessarily sleep on pillows, so I don't know if it's a problem with bedding or mosquitoes. We checked in January and there were really mosquitoes!
The hotel service is good. When leaving, a detailed feedback was left. I also reported this problem to the hotel and left contact information. The hotel manager is a British lady and feels very dedicated.
The photos are the faces of children after the first and second nights. It's really not easy to keep clean in Egypt. The environment and facilities are too backward, but I hope the hotel can improve. Everything else is perfect. It's one of the good experiences in Egypt.

Vveronica makThere are a few things of the Nefertiti Hotel: 1. Excellent location (Luxor temple and museum is within working distance; a shopping street located just behind the hotel, with reasonable (bargained) price; supermarket round the corner with super delicious mango in summer); 2. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of fruit; 3. creative room service (with lovely shaped towels which surprised us every day).

GGuest UserVery mixed feelings about the experience. Overall I would give 4 stars.
The Bad - only 1. The tour agency. We booked a tour guide and driver to take us to Dendera, Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens and Hatshepsut Temple - this was our itinerary. Our guide took us to all but refused to take us to the Valley of the Queens, instead trying to scam us by taking us to the Alabaster stone factory which was not on our itinerary and despite paying in advance to go to the Valley of Queens instead. The Alabaster stone factory is not a factory, it is a shop to coerce and scam tourists charging $150 for a small piece of rock which many tourists fall for. Tourists at other hotels also complained about this and saw many foreigners being scammed at these so called “factories”. So please be prepared for this and only stick to your schedule that you agreed beforehand.
The Good - the laundry, staff at the hotel (security, waiters, manager) was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The rooms were amazing and the pool and location was great.

GGuest UserThis is the hotel I am most satisfied with during my one-week stay in Egypt. The staff are very patient, the environment is very good, the garden is beautiful, the security is also very good, and drivers with luggage are not allowed to enter, so it is very safe. The most unexpected thing is that there is also a Chinese restaurant. The scenery on the banks of the Nile is beautiful. I don't know where the bad reviews in the comments come from. The price and quality of a five-star hotel are really worth it. It is very close to the scenic spots. I came back to sleep when I was tired, and there was no charge. The time was extended for free after check-out. I was very touched. It is a very warm hotel. I will stay here again next time.

EErna ZaabarI stayed here in early January, and while the location is convenient, my experience was mixed. Upon arrival, the reception area was surprisingly dark despite it being daytime—most hotels usually have sufficient lighting. The lobby area, right in front of the rooms, was also dim with no lights, which felt unusual.
The room wasn’t soundproof; I could clearly hear people talking outside, which affected my comfort. The window locks seemed flimsy—you could shake them, and I could feel cold air seeping in, making the nights especially chilly.
Overall, I’m unsure if these issues stem from budget constraints or just maintenance oversight, but better lighting, soundproofing, and secure windows would greatly improve the guest experience.
