Hotels With Pool in Bagmati, Nepal

I had an incredible stay and extended two more nights.  The GM and the staff are super helpful and customer oriented.  Room is spacious.  Morning yoga is included and the male yoga teacher is phenomenal.  The yoga practice is inside the monastery.  The location is another advantage.  It’s walking distance to the Boudha Stupa which allows me to walk there a few times a day.  At the same time, it’s in a quiet dead end.  Lastly, it could be helpful for some who wish to disconnect digitally because   wifi doesn’t work too well .  There’s only one server located near the staircase in my building. If your room is far away from it, the signal is obviously problematic.

Location is not very far from the international Airport though the entrance point was bit constricted but when you reach the property, its heaven altogether. Loved the ambience, the staff were so helpful, the rooms were neat and clean and the food was awesome ( for which I have to go to Kathmandu again). Overall a great and unforgettable stay with my friends.

We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for their warmth hospitality & comfort during our stay.

Super nice people and great breakfasts!!! We really enjoyed staying there, good location - nice and quiet street but very close to the center . New clean rooms with super comfortable beds.

My friend and I arrived on 2 January and I had caught a bad cold and my friends back went out.  We layed in bed 2 days and the staff was exceptionally wonderful in taking care of us.  Words cannot express our gratitude for the hospitality, clean hotel, super comfortable beds and warm fluffy comforters.  We came as guests and were treated like family!  Thanks to everyone!  Location is perfect as well.  Thanks again for a great stay and memory!

Couldn't be better. Staff gave 6 star service with personal attention in every matter. Totally exceeded expectations for the price point. Other hotels would charge $1000 per night for this level of service.

The Hotel Barahi Kathmandu is in a great location, walking distance to great souvenirs in Thamal, tourist sites like the Garden of Dreams and the former Royal Palace. The hotel staff were so friendly, engaging and helpful. The hotel has a pool up on level 7 with great views of Kathmandu. The only flaw with the pool is it is surrounded by the restaurant, so no one swims in it. I had a suite the room was beautiful, very happy with the cleanliness and room service. The only flaw with the room is that it backed on to the service area for staff who were all working very hard, but there was banging and clanging all night and morning.

My stay at the Mulberry Hotel in Kathmandu was generally very pleasant, but I have one major complaint I'd like to mention. When we selected the hotel, it was stated that the airport transfer was free, which was one of the reasons we decided to stay there. However, despite having communicated our intention to use this service both when booking and three days before our arrival, we were informed that there was an additional charge for the transfer. Fortunately, we were able to resolve the issue through the website where we made the reservation, but I'm concerned that this information is still available on their site. If the hotel continues to advertise the airport transfer as free, either they're changing it or they're misleading customers, which is unacceptable. Also, to add a humorous twist to the situation: when we checked out of the hotel and took a taxi, it turned out the price was actually half of what we had paid for the hotel service! So if you decide to take a taxi, you can save a few dollars! On the other hand, the hotel facilities are good, and the rooms are fine. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of Western and Indian-style options. The rooftop pool has great potential with beautiful views of the city, although it needs more attention and care due to the dust in the area. Overall, I would recommend the Mulberry Hotel for its good location and breakfast, but I suggest they clarify information about airport transfers to avoid future confusion. And don't hesitate to take a taxi to the airport to save some money!

Such a nice view and friendly staff! I really enjoyed every moment at the hotel. The location is perfect — it’s right next to the national park, and I could actually see the river from the balcony. It’s also on the main street, so it’s easy to get anywhere. The room was in perfect condition and very clean. The air conditioner worked really well. The staff were all so friendly and kind.

On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.
