"This hotel comes highly recommended, the location is great and opposite the hotel. It has a beautiful park, the hotel gym and restaurant are great features and the breakfast style buffet, offered many options. I personally walked from the Milton Keynes train station, so I got to see many places to explore, shop, eat, drink. It took around 30 minutes to walk from the station, however the route is on an incline, so maybe not the greatest of ideas, if people have lots of luggage, mobility issues ect, to use this transport method. The hotel is very stunning and amazing value for money."

"We returned to Escapades as a family and once again loved the overall experience. The vibe is fantastic, the swimming pool is a real highlight, and the accommodation is stylish and comfortable. That said, the restaurant service could use a little fine tuning. We had a vegan in our party who ordered the vegan roast in The Gallery, as listed on the menu. Unfortunately, it was initially served with a large Yorkshire pudding, non vegan gravy, and vegetables that had not been separated from the buttered options served to the rest of the table. On a positive note, the roast beef was excellent. The vegan dish was taken away and corrected quickly, which we appreciated. Overall, a great stay with just a small area for improvement in the dining experience."

"I stayed in Holiday Inn for the second time. I stayed in room 301. The room was very clean and tidy. It had a bigger than expected bathroom with good mirrors and a bath. The toiletries were good. It was very busy in the hotel and the breakfast was very busy with families. The breakfast was Ok the cooked breakfast was hot but the sweet pastries were limited. The range of cold meats was good. The fruit was good. The coffee was good. The breakfast spice was good. I did not use the health facilities. The bar was busy and I had to wait to buy a soft drink. The range of food on offer was good. I really enjoyed my stay at holiday inn. The service was good and I liked the luggage store facilities. These were free. The locality is good for food outlets and there is a large shopping mall opposite the hotel. It takes 18 mins to walk to the station. There was a marathon on while I stayed. So it was busy everywhere. The images shown here are of the spaces inside the hotel to eat, my breakfast, the free water, and the foyer space. I would stay here again. It’s only 47 mins to London and it’s a great price and a quiet hotel compared to London prices. Mexicans living in London were celebrating Cinco de Mayo outside the National gallery today and it was really great! The Milton Keynes marathon was also on today!"

"This is not a 4 star hotel. The initial room was awful. The check in staff was very unwelcoming! The next day, duty manager Mae tried her best to put me in another room, it was marginally better. She also gave free can drinks and chocolates to rectify the situation. Breakfast was very very limiting regarding choice but all in all, a very very budget hotel as opposed to something better."

"Stayed an additional night in room 155, after two nights in 266. Great new room, with new shower. Very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We did not eat at the hotel but would definitely recommend as a little getaway. Great location and scenery."

"From the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room. Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries. I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all. Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention. Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back."

"The cleanliness details are absolutely amazing! Not a speck of dust in the corners, no water stains in the bathroom. The facilities are new and function perfectly, the WiFi is fast, and there's plenty of hot water. The service is unobtrusive yet responsive when needed. This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel!"

"Budget style motel. No kettle in room, but free hot drink machine on ground floor. Shower and toilet were small moulded units. No chair, just a plastic stool. The whole facility is quite small, but just OK for one person. Good location for Heathrow, London, etc. Expensive for the size of room and facilities."
