"This weekend was the second time I stayed at the Leonardo in Milton Keynes. I booked a few weeks earlier and locked in a very good price on Trip. I chose the Leonardo because it was a fabulous stay last time with a very good breakfast. This time I stayed in a double room and it was bigger than I expected. I stayed in room 601 and it was an end room and overlooked the big Leonardo red banner on the outside of the building. I had a very good view of the city from the room. The room had a window that opened and a TV. I had a very good bathroom with great products. The towels were really clean and fluffy. There was T and coffee in the room. Plenty of space. I had sockets next to the bed for my phone. I had a great nights sleep. Bed was so comfy. Slept brilliant. I had breakfast for the 3 nights I stayed and it was excellent. Plenty of room in the restaurant and not overcrowded at breakfast. The staff were very attentive for the whole of my stay. There was a free water fountain down in the foyer and it was a mega hot weekend so this was great. There is also somewhere for baggage storage if you want to visit the fantastic shopping centre that’s not far away. The hotel It’s about a 10 min walk from the train station. Great if you are visiting London there are loads of trains and it’s quick. I chose to stay at the Leonardo because it’s a very comfy stay as London prices are so expensive. There are lots of great restaurants near by so it’s great for an evening out. It’s a lot quieter than central London therefore much better for my senior solo adventures. The images I e uploaded are the walk from the station, the room after I stayed in it! The bathroom the bottled accessories in the bathroom so you know what to expect, the views from my window, sunsets and the bed after I slept in it. A very great stay and highly recommended. I went to London every morning, went to the British museum , ham house, Tracey Emin at Tate Modern and shopping ."

"OMG the place was just amazing! We definitely will come back again! Although the hotel was located quite far from city Center, i.e., an hour from Oxford University, half an hour from Bicester, but 15 mins drive from Waitrose, which was good enough for us (chill but enjoy the world class racing cars around). The facilities were new. The staff was friendly ( strongly felt it in the breakfast session), there was own car park just next to the apartment too. Free 15 mins electricity charging outside the reception. Free access to gym and swimming pool… everything just fabulous!"

"Lovely view of the lake, much prefer not having a crappy breakfast included in the price, room was spotless, nice shower, decent desk/workspace. Two minor negatives: the TV was teeny tiny and the placement of it really affected the work space when set up with a laptop, mouse etc. Secondly there was a pretty unpleasant smell at the top of the stairs like stale fish. That's nitpicking though, it was an absolutely lovely stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone."

"Great hotel with stunning views from rooms and from the amazing rooftop restaurant and bar - beds super comfy with excellent tea and coffee facilities- good shower and lovely Elemis bath products. Only downside was breakfast whilst a fabulous choice and lovely variety of fresh fruits, many of the cooked items were only like warm and mushrooms actually cold, we were after 9 having breakfast so possibly been sat for a long while. Otherwise all great and would definitely choose to stay again."

"We have stayed many times at the hotel. But sadly it seems to be going down hill a bit . Our room was good but the bathroom was not in good condition, the sink tap was old and not in good conditions and the shower control didn’t work to turn the temperature down ( not good as this could scold someone) . The reception had no one on it several times so you couldn’t talk to someone. Then breakfast in the morning was nice but there was only one person trying to do everything which wasn’t good . Tables left uncleared and people had to wait ages to get served. The fruit juice wasn’t kept cold like it used to be , and the waiter used his bare hands to replenish the beard instead of tongs or covered hand . It’s sad as this hotel is a great place but not being run well ."

"Stayed here for a convention. It's an absolutely fine place to stay. The room was a little old fashioned but very clean and cool - the shower was great. It's not anywhere central, but fine if you don't mind ordering in for dinner or getting food there (it will be a bit pricey). Staff was pleasant, seemed a little understaffed but nothing that ruined anything too much. Breakfast was great quality and covers all the essentials to choose from. The choice of rooms for the convention is great, so much space in all the areas! Never had a problem with neighbor noise. Overall, recommended. Nothing spectacular but still a good choice."

"I stayed in Holiday Inn for the second time. I stayed in room 301. The room was very clean and tidy. It had a bigger than expected bathroom with good mirrors and a bath. The toiletries were good. It was very busy in the hotel and the breakfast was very busy with families. The breakfast was Ok the cooked breakfast was hot but the sweet pastries were limited. The range of cold meats was good. The fruit was good. The coffee was good. The breakfast spice was good. I did not use the health facilities. The bar was busy and I had to wait to buy a soft drink. The range of food on offer was good. I really enjoyed my stay at holiday inn. The service was good and I liked the luggage store facilities. These were free. The locality is good for food outlets and there is a large shopping mall opposite the hotel. It takes 18 mins to walk to the station. There was a marathon on while I stayed. So it was busy everywhere. The images shown here are of the spaces inside the hotel to eat, my breakfast, the free water, and the foyer space. I would stay here again. It’s only 47 mins to London and it’s a great price and a quiet hotel compared to London prices. I stayed at Holiday Inn High Wycombe on 19th February, and unfortunately, my experience started on a disappointing note. Upon arrival, I was greeted politely and checked in by the receptionist, who allocated me a ground floor room. However, when I entered the room, I immediately noticed a strong smell of smoke, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwilling to stay there. It was clear the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or aired. I contacted reception, and to their credit, the staff member came to inspect the room herself. She acknowledged the issue, apologised sincerely, and admitted it should have been resolved by housekeeping. Unfortunately, I was told the hotel was fully booked and no alternative rooms were available. I was offered a 30% discount to stay in the room, but I declined as I did not feel comfortable. The receptionist then arranged an alternative solution by relocating me to Hampton by Hilton High Wycombe, including organising a taxi transfer. Although there was some confusion about room availability at the Hilton, she remained helpful and even offered me a complimentary drink while I waited. Once I arrived at the Hilton, the difference was clear — the room was clean, fresh, and of a much higher standard, which made for a far more comfortable stay. Overall, while I appreciate the professionalism and efforts of the staff at Holiday Inn to resolve the issue, the initial room condition fell well below expectations.

From the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room. Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries. I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all. Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention. Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely stay on a Monday night at Crazy Bear Beaconsfield. Only English restaurant was open so marked down the amenities as didn't really use others aside from the restaurant, bar and room. There is a lovely looking pool. Service was good. Mixup with our steak order was quite easily resolved however ended up with a cut of steak I didn't want. Would recommend booking restaurant time before 7pm as between 5-6.45 pm you get 25% off your total bill including alcoholic drinks. Would recommend offering prosecco on the menu. As cheapest champagne was around £100 so on the pricey side in general to eat and drink.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! I would have loved to give it a higher score because our room was so spacious, clean, and had a lovely modern design that made it very comfortable. However, I did have to rate it a bit lower because we were surprised to find that, while the travel app suggested that the standard queen-size room would come with both a bathtub and a shower, it turns out that only the premium suites offer bathtubs. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful— it was a shame that they couldn't do anything about the app. They mentioned that if you're a member and book in advance, there might be some great upgrade options available. It’s just a disappointment that the photos and description on the app were misleading, as they made it look like all the queen-size rooms had bathtubs too!

This hotel looks beautiful from outside with a lovely ground and impressive entrance, but however, I found the room & common area not so impressive they need to give it a face lift to deserve the room rate. Especially with a high bathtub it’s quite dangerous as it’s slippery when you step into it to have a shower, even with the rubber mat on it , luckily I brought along my rubber slipper, which I can use to have a shower to prevent from slipping . Our room included breakfast, buffet table selection of food were poor, and the quality of food was not great even with basic smoke salmon it looks stale & the cooked breakfast was ok not impressive. The front desk reception staff were not helpful with problem . But the manager at the front desk was very helpful when we checked out , after hearing our comments about the problem he took note said he’ll look into the problem & told us to contact him when decide to stay with them next time. I do appreciate his helpfulness & trying to make the best of the situation, Cliveden Hotel should treasure him as the hotel manager.
