It was such a quaint place, but unfortunately all week we were there it was under construction, so noise from hammering and drilling was very annoying since this was booked specifically for meditation and writing of my book.
We added bed linens with additional charges but then we need to install it ourselves. We are already tired travel from far and setting the bedlinen ourselves is unacceptable.
For the men's shared bathroom( not the toilet), the floor is full of dirt, without slippers it is very bad experience. I was showering with naked feet because I only travel with shoes. As there's a short distance from room to the bathroom that need to step through murt, other traveller slippers also became dirty and just walk into shower area with slippers on.
There's plenty of space for shared kitchen which is awesome, but the auto door lock made it very inconvenient for a single person that is in middle of cooking and need to open door for partner, because 1 room is only given with 1 set of keys.
I did not expect that the full windowed view of waterfall is only for ordering meal, oherwise I would rather spend 1 meal there for the scenery, sadly I missed the awesome breakfast.
We visited Kirkjufell, Budir Black Church, and Arnarstapi, and this vacation home is also not far from Ytri Tunga Seal Beach. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean, and there's a kitchen, making it perfect for a large family trip. My family was very satisfied!
The place was great, good location, amazing view from the room, delicious food at the restaurant. The only disappointment was the shower, which was really average. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay there!
Nice and sizable hotel, very quiet at night.. Room is big enough and the bed is comfy. Shower room is good. Breakfast is good.
Hotel situated at the location which is away from the main road. Next to hotel is a golf course, some rooms has view to the golf course.
They provide Northern Light alert, reception will call at night if NL are spotted.
We booked a triple room, the hotel was very intimate, the double bed plus a bed room type, divided into three beds for us. thank you very much! 👍👍👍
There is a small tea area and a small refrigerator in the room. The windows are small and the room will be stuffy. The bathroom is large, but the toilet 🚽 equipment is old.
Breakfast is OK, but unfortunately the fruit seems to be canned 🥫 expired and has a sour taste.
-”The front desk and breakfast service staff are not good, there is nothing to eat in the hotel restaurant and nearby gas station at night, a very remote place.
Overall, it was the best night we slept in Iceland. Thank you very much for the quiet and comfortable three-story bed.
Easy self-check in, which was great for us because we reached near 11pm. Beds were comfortable, heating was good. Best part was breakfast. Shared kitchen was well stocked with pans, eggs, milk, salami, oil, sauces, for cooking. Had a satisfying breakfast complete with coffee, juices and yogurt.
Although I cannot see the northern light due to the weather issue, I think the apartment is a good spot to see it if the sky is clear. Besides, I think the instruction is very clear as I arrive there already 8pm, i can still do my late check in by myself smoothly.
The apartment on the beautiful peninsula Snefellsnes has been good for us. The apartment was well equipped with a small furnished kitchen, there was also a coffee machine and a toaster. The beds were comfortable, there were boxes, beside the seat group there was another sofa to take out. At third we had enough room.
However, we did not receive the access code from Trip.Com. The renter did not answer our request by email. On site, a telephone was in the staircase with telephone number, note, pen. We called and received the number code directly. The house looks like an old office building, our view from the window went to the parking lot. The bed linen was clean, but it seemed to be used. Renew.
Nearby there is a restaurant, pharmacy, food, bathroom. Fresh fish directly from the fisherman we have not seen.
Very Good
