Stayed two nights at the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking was ¥1000 for one night. Staff were helpful. However, there was a used black comb on the tea table in our hotel when we checked in.
Hmm... I really don't want to speak ill of others, but I can't help it.
1. The hotel staff initially thought I didn't speak Japanese, so they just handed me an English check-in guide and finished the check-in process.
2. The hotel hangers were so dirty that they stained my white clothes, forcing me to wash them.
3. There was differential treatment; their own people got bottled water, while we got nothing.
I probably won't choose to stay here again.
Of course not ,beautiful and wonderful city in Japan .Natural attractions with around city.Big thumbs up for the city but my room was same view of back hotel.I guess in-front of view is better I am an old customer who was long term stays this hotel in last summer 2024.
That’s why I’m came back and staying on winter time.Price was I paid raised this time very different from last summer and breakfast was great but after three days getting bored because of a little bit changed the vegetables juices , some meals and also reduced inside the room I didn’t see daily coffee and tea bags any more except a green tea bag .
Hotel staffs are great service. Big thumbs up too.
Thank you so much Trip com .
Sincerely yours.
P.S trip com also changed a lot .
Last year very very cheap at the time.
But this time so so with other apps. We need improved your app.
Cannot ask for more from this hotel. Everything is perfect. We have the best accomodation in here while in Shikoku, where we have stayed in 9 hotels. It was simply the best.
The environment is recluse, though it is highly accessible with cars. The star-gazing experience in onsen is once in a lifetime. It was magical to bath under the starry night. The dining experience is exceptional, though it is a little pricey, compare to the dinner we have throught Shikoku. Still, I highly recommend to try the Japanese-style course The Manna provided.
Everything was good except for the last response from the man at the front desk.
The hotel is clean. The yuzu juice in the hot spring lifted my spirits.
Kochi Castle, Hirome Market, and the Sunday Market are all nearby, so you can easily enjoy them.
Bright Park Hotel is about a 7-minute walk from Kochi Station. The hotel is also not far from Harimayabashi Station, and it is very convenient to take the bus to other places. There is a shopping street next to the hotel. There is a local market on Sundays where you can go shopping. There are many specialty restaurants in the shopping street, but it is best to make a reservation in advance.
The hotel is very clean and quiet. The front desk is on duty 24 hours a day, so it is no problem to leave early.
Take the express bus to the terminal, Harimayabashi. Walk along the river for five or six minutes and you will see a tall building. The Yosakoi performance at 9pm is good. The Harajuku Omotesando Dance Festival in August every year in Tokyo originates from this place. It is worth watching and experiencing. The breakfast is 2,500 yen, which is a great value. The buffet has local specialties such as bonito and sushi, with a variety of rich varieties, and you can also take a cup of coffee away.
The room we stayed in was very spacious. The onsen was really amazing, quite huge that could accommodate the many other guests who booked at the same time with us at the peak of the golden week. We availed the buffet dinner, where we luckily got discounts from our All Accor membership. The dinner buffet has a wide selection of food and drinks. They also had a buffet breakfast which was quite good.
The hotel next to Kochi Rendianchuan, you can walk to Rendianchuan to play in the water, recommended with children, the hotel business is also good on weekdays, but the restaurant waiter is a bit small, busy, the hot spring is great

GGuest UserThe barrier-free space room is very large, and the price difference is not much different from the ordinary twin room. It is recommended to stay and check it out. There is only one room in the whole hotel, No. 101 on the first floor. You are not afraid of disturbing others, and it is easy to get in and out.
LLZHWhen we first arrived the front desk told us that we reserved a smoking room. In the trip.com booking it does not say so though. The front desk said all similar rooms for non-smoking were booked out.
We went up to the room but it smelled so bad that we asked agin for a different room showing them the booking. According to the hotel the booking was not directly forward to them by trip.com but by a different service therefore it varied from our actual booking. They were nice enough to give us a different room which was non-smoking. Unfortunately the room still smelled strange - at least no smoke smell.
Additionally there was almost no hot water coming out from the tap. In the photo the hot water was fully turned on.
Another issue was the parking. The one night stay fee was 1000 Yen (not for 24h). We checked out at 11 a.m. but decided to eat lunch in town and leave the car at the hotel parking. We took out the car at 2 pm and had to pay an additional fee of 1200 yen.
LLinyuRINGOThe hotel is about a ten to fifteen-minute walk from Nakamura Station. However, its proximity to souvenir shops, restaurants, and convenience stores makes it quite convenient. Just be aware that the nearby restaurant closes at 9 PM.
Breakfast is a complimentary buffet for guests. I can only say the Oden was delicious, but everything else was rather subpar.
It was fully booked due to Golden Week, so I couldn't switch to a non-smoking room. However, the window could be opened for fresh air and ventilation, and there was also a humidifier in the room, so I was still reasonably satisfied.

GGuest UserClean hotel with amazing with of the Pacific Ocean from inside the room. The staffs are very helpful and offered to carry my luggage up the stairs. However due to language barrier, did not tell me that I can see the ocean and sunrise from my room. I missed the beautiful view as the curtains are close and did not discover the view until I was about to checkout. It is a regret as I believe the sunrise would be stunning.
Would highly recommend booking at the restaurant in advance, as there is no much to eat and shop nearby. The restaurant is small scaled, so might not be able to cater last minute orders.
Overall a very nice stay, given the budget. Suitable for those who are on driving.
GGuest Userthe hotel room is nice , best shower even in Japan. but the sink is too low, good size for the child , too low for an adult the hotel has swimming pool, the pool is belong to the gym , normally require the membership ,but you just need to show the counter that you are staying in the hotel they will let you in. if you dont have the swimming suit, they have the swimming suit to borrow which was nice . they don't really speak English, that was a little tough to communicate. they have laundry machine at 3rd floor to use. the breakfast was acceptable , if you are foreigner, like western food , they have croissant, chocolate bread, salad, bacon. it was a good stay.

DDuxingsuiyueThe rooms are not big, all are of the same standard in Biei, breakfast and hot springs are the same, self-service check-in and check-out are very convenient! It is convenient in the city center and anywhere else.
라라이브 원정 떠나는 다람쥐There's a bus stop, a train station, and a terminal nearby.
There were no inconveniences with transportation.
There's also a convenience store, so I used it often.
I arrived in the pouring rain, and they urgently handed me a towel.
Even though I arrived about three hours before check-in time, my room was ready, so I checked in right away.
I was worried because of the strong wind and rain, but I was so touched. 🥹
The staff were all so kind.
I had to leave early in the morning, so I asked a male staff member about the train station late at night.
He looked for me and even contacted me, which was so appreciated.
I'll definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Kochi.
Thank you for creating such wonderful memories!!
