My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. The experience started smoothly even before check-in. We had arrived in Malé late the night before, and the Hard Rock team contacted and coordinated directly with the hotel we were staying at, making our transfer to the resort very easy and stress-free. All of the staff we met were friendly, polite, and welcoming. As an Accor Diamond member, I had originally considered staying at the Pullman or Sofitel, but after researching the different resorts, we felt that Hard Rock offered the experience that suited us best—and we were very happy with that decision. One of the biggest surprises was just how much there was to do. The resort offered many complimentary activities, entertainment, and shows. We first met one of the instructors, Pensi, during another dinner/show, and because she was so friendly and enthusiastic, we decided to join her hammock/silks class. It ended up being a lot of fun. She also performed in her own show the following day, which was amazing and became one of the highlights of our stay. My wife and I are not really into water sports, but we decided to try kayaking and were very glad we did. It gave us some beautiful views of the resort and surrounding water, as well as some great photos. Cycling between the connected islands was another simple activity that turned out to be surprisingly memorable and gave us some amazing photo opportunities along the way. Breakfast had a huge selection and everything we tried tasted great. We also ordered in-room dining, which was very easy through the resort's dedicated app. Getting around was simple as well. We could book a buggy through the app or use the bicycles that were available around the island. We stayed in a Platinum Overwater Pool Villa, and the room was clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. We could watch the sunrise from our private pool and also step directly from the villa into the ocean below. It was exactly the kind of Maldives experience we had imagined. We came expecting beautiful scenery, clear water, and amazing photos and videos, and Hard Rock certainly delivered all of that. What we did not expect was how much the activities, recreation, entertainment, and shows would add to the experience. They made the stay much more enjoyable and memorable than simply staying at a beautiful resort. We also appreciated seeing the resort manager attend Pensi's show and personally speak with guests. It gave us the impression that the management team genuinely makes an effort to engage with guests, listen to feedback, and make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives gave us everything we had hoped for from our Maldives trip, plus much more than we expected. We would be very happy to stay again.

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

Without question, this is the best-value Maldivian resort we have ever visited. We've stayed at several resorts in the Maldives, and none have managed to combine luxury, efficiency, quality and value quite like this. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well organized. Check-in was seamless, and throughout our stay the team consistently thought two steps ahead, ensuring that arrivals, bookings, activities and departure arrangements were all perfectly coordinated. We never once felt stressed or had to waste time waiting for anything. The Dusit Gold app was exceptionally responsive and useful, making the entire experience smooth and effortless. Our villa was spotless, and housekeeping was outstanding. Turnover and turndown service were always completed perfectly and punctually. Every detail in the room worked flawlessly — from the coffee machine and hot water to the bathtub, water pressure and lighting. Nothing was faulty, which is surprisingly rare even at luxury resorts. The food was genuinely some of the best we have experienced in the Maldives, with authentic flavours and a huge selection of food and drinks included in the all-inclusive package. What impressed us most was that the resort never cut corners. Unlike some resorts that can be stingy with portions or beverage quality, here they provide the full wholesome experience. Drinks were always generously poured and promptly refilled, and there was an excellent variety of restaurants open simultaneously for dinner, giving plenty of choice each evening. Special thanks to Mohamed and the wonderful Barcelonian dive instructor, who were incredibly kind, professional and personable. They even remembered us by name before we had arrived at the dive centre, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The management team was equally impressive — professional, attentive and seemingly never saying no to any request. The spa treatments were excellent, especially the Thai massage by the Bhutanese therapist, and we also enjoyed one of the best deep tissue massages from the personal trainer at the gym. Prices for activities, spa treatments and extras were all very fair and represented excellent value. Despite being close to Malé, the marine life was thriving and abundant. The water was crystal clear, peaceful and free from noise pollution. We were pleasantly surprised by how lush and vibrant the underwater environment was. Another thing we appreciated was the sense of space. There was never any need to fight for sun loungers, cabanas or tables. Everything felt spacious and relaxed. Families are also exceptionally well catered for, with both a kids' club and a teens' club — something that is surprisingly rare. For travellers who want to maximize their time in the Maldives and avoid spending hours on seaplane transfers, this resort is an absolute gem. The convenience of being close to Malé combined with such a luxurious atmosphere is hard to beat. Overall, this has been the most value-for-money yet genuinely luxurious resort we have ever experienced. Exceptional service, outstanding food, thoughtful management, and a team that consistently goes above and beyond make this a place we would return to without hesitation. Will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel with top-notch service. I stayed in a suite and was impressed with the amenities: slippers, shower caps, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, a shaving kit, hairdryer, iron, and they even brought an extra blanket – I really appreciated that! The sea view was stunning, and everything felt new and clean. We also tried the Balinese massage at the spa, which was amazing – the girls did a fantastic job! We didn't want to leave; we loved everything: the beach, the food, and the friendly atmosphere. We visited 5 islands and only stayed one day here, deciding to take a trip to Gili. We didn't want to leave, and if we could redo our trip, we would allocate more days for this hotel. It felt just like home, thank you! And most importantly, there's a bikini beach, which was a welcome relief from having to wear clothes all the time. Highly recommend!!!!

Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. After experiencing a period of burnout, this resort was exactly what I needed to recharge and find a fresh perspective on life. The resort provides a dedicated luxury speedboat that picks you up and drops you off directly at the airport. It takes away all the stress of travel logistics. The island itself is incredibly well-maintained. The sand is powdery white, and the entire resort is kept spotlessly clean, preserving the natural beauty of the Maldives. A Sanctuary for Peace What I appreciated most was how the resort caters to both physical and spiritual well-being. They have a beautifully maintained mosque on the island, which is very serene, clean and well-kept. It added a layer of calm and convenience that made the stay even more meaningful And not to forget, for your food of mind, they also have a mini library so that we can lay down through out the stay accompanied by the book of our choice. It can be borrowed & later returned via the reception. Unforgettable Highlights Snorkeling from the Villa: One of the best parts of the stay was being able to jump straight into the crystal clear water for snorkeling right under my room. The marine life is vibrant and right at your doorstep. Dolphins at Breakfast: Imagine sipping your morning coffee and watching dolphins play in the distance. We were lucky enough to spot them during breakfast, which was a magical way to start the day. Stargazing: During serene night, either near the beach or while you slowly brisk walking back to your room, it’s surely the perfect place to just enjoy the Maldivian night sky with the beautiful shining stars smiling at you. The Staff: The service here is world-class. Every staff member is genuinely kind, attentive, and dedicated to making your stay perfect. They really go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. The Perfect Cure for Burnout The atmosphere at Grand Park Kodhipparu is incredibly quiet and private. It is the perfect place to sit with a book, listen to the waves, and clear your mind. I left the island feeling like a new person, with a renewed spirit and a calm heart. Final Verdict: A 10/10 experience. Whether you are seeking luxury or a deep mental reset, this is the place to be. We were completely satisfied with our vacation! The hotel isn't new, but everything is in good condition. It's an excellent hotel for its price-quality ratio. It's only a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé. We booked through Trip.com and were met individually. The best standard rooms are 175-200, facing the best beach with a house reef. More expensive room categories are in less swimmable locations. Housekeeping twice a day. The food is varied, with something new for lunch and dinner every day – fish, chicken, seafood day, lamb day. The all-inclusive cocktails are a bit watered down and the selection is limited, but you can't say anything was missing. The corals on the house reef are a bit tired, but there are many fish, small sharks, and it's beautiful overall; we swam every day and never got bored. On the opposite side from the main beach is the beautiful Bandos Rock reef – there's never anyone there, and there seemed to be more marine life. Excursions need to be booked well in advance, several days ahead – there's swimming with manta rays, sharks, fishing, and dolphins – there likely won't be spots if you try to book the day before. There's a sufficient amount of Russian-speaking staff, including many great guys from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

The island is not far from airport so it is good. There are no other hotels at the island so you just have to do everything at the hotel. For someone not into seasports staying too long at the hotel can be boring. It was low season so there weren't alot of tourists till the day before i checked out. I liked it when it was quieter. Some restaurants are not open everyday and you have to reserve if they are open. The free food credit they give is not very reasonable as it stated you can't eat at another restaurant before using the credit at another restaurant, but why should it be so when i have already paid for a full board and entitled to a fully paid meal at another restaurant already? There was also twice when the restaurant got my orders wrong. They served me fish when i ordered beef and later told me beef has ran out. If so you should tell me so when i ordered and i actually went to the restaurant not long after they open. Also they way they served the fish is as though i ordered it, only when i said i didnt order it they said oh there must be a mistake becos beef has ran out. Then you should explain to me when you took the order, or before you served you inform me and ask me to choose something else instead of giving me the fish. Thus it was quite clear they took the wrong order and not becos there was no beef. The next morning at breakfast which i went very early as well, already the vegetables had ran out at the noodles station. I order egg white omelette and they served me the normal omelette. After that i could hear the staff arguing among themselves who got the wrong order. Had lunch at the Kakuni hut and 1 of the fillet was rubbery, the meat was sticking to the skin and the skin cannot be detached easily as well. It doesn't taste unfresh so u dont know what was the problem. They did redo another fillet for me which is better but the quality wasn't the same as the 2nd piece of fillet on the 1st plate. Anyway for those going, bring your sunblock and most importantly insect repellent as there are lots of mosquitoes there and insect repellent is not provided
