"My family and I use this Hotel very often. Perfect position on the beach, beautiful view from balcony that still feels private, beds are comfortable. If you dont plan on staying in the room much, this place is perfect! Only down fall for this trip was the prepping for summer season. Many many rooms were being worked on on our floor so it was constantly loud and had construction workers in and out all day. Water was shut off for hours on day 2 so we werent able to shower or bathe the baby for a bit after being outside for hours. And the pressure washing going on outside the building was LOUD! BUT- my kid loved the workers and they were so friendly and apologetic. Worth the few mishaps that popped up! (Also for anyone with doggies or kiddos who like to run around! There is a side part under the parking that is PERFECT for a quick kiddo run around or a puppy play time. BUT THERE ARE RATTLE SNAKES ALONG THE FENCE!!!! SO BE CAUTIOUS)"

"The room was great! There can't be service if no one is at the counter. This place is so confusing. Indigo has one side and everyone has to check in there. No one is on the Holiday Inn Express side. Let's just say lots of walking and trying to figure out where to go good luck! The free breakfast was just ok. If they gave me a room credit I would stay here again, they at least owe that. Parking is a rip off, almost $50 per night!!"

"It is very close to the airport, maybe a 7 minute drive. The free shuttle was amazing. We went to terminal C, exited door 105 by the baggage claim, and stood at the Hotel Shuttle area. Just call the hotel +1 (281) 713-4265, option 3 and they call a shuttle for you. It’s either black or white and says “24 Hours Hotel Shuttle” on the side. Have your hotel info ready in case they ask. We were so happy that we picked this hotel. There is a Waffle House next door and the food was amazing! I was such an affordable price that I was worried about the accommodations when I booked it, but honestly it was way better than I thought and I would do it again.
When you sign up for the time you need to go to the airport, know that the shuttle will come 15-20 minutes earlier than that. I am sure it said something like that on the sheet but I must not have read it carefully enough."

"The hotel is pretty old. There were some stains on the walls, and the bathtub had some parts where the surface of the tub was worn away. The desk and desk chair were super uncomfortable. I am not sure if it was that the chair was broken, but the chair did not go up enough to have my arms rest on the desk comfortably. The AC unit is also really loud. When it is off, I was measuring about 30-35 db. When it was on, I was measuring about 50 db which is about the same loudness as a regular conversation. All of the coffee options in the room was decaf, so I needed to go to Walmart and get some regular coffee. This could have just been a fluke for the room that I was in. Lots of the amenities were also closed. I went to check the pool out, but there was a chain around the gate, so I think it was closed. I would verify with the hotel before getting a room here.

"This hotel is an older, classic American-style establishment, perfectly suited for a layover. The facilities are a bit dated, but everything is surprisingly clean. Breakfast is a simple American spread, featuring toast, bagels, DIY waffles, and fried eggs. Coffee is available 24/7.
The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from all airport terminals. Once you've collected your luggage, head outside to the purple zone marked 'courtesy van.' "The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, the room has good natural light, and the cleanliness is impeccable. CCLGH TravelersHOTEL STAFF were very excellent and courteous. Always helped with any problem encountered. Management and ownership were very professional and acted like they cared about your stay.
Concerning the hotel accommodations and Staff interaction I would rate this hotel an EXCELLENT. However, my reason for selecting a 3//5 rating is THE FAULT OF WINDHAM HOTEL CORPERATE for the low score. I would rate them a 1/5. Here's why:
1. They don't seem to care about any customer that books through a non Windham agency. No rewards given at all. (We did stay in their facility didn't we???? Only if booked though them will you get any ”points”. At least give ”some points or rewards”.
2. Their policy on no accepting a virtual card for payment per their ”Out of Country Reservation System” (Real AMERICAN Supporting Corporation, HA!). Most people use virtual cards for safety and security.
3. The facility does not have a ”NO BACKING IN” Policy for parking. That leaves them liable if some one succumbs to Exhaust fumes from vehicles that are parked in backwards with the tail pipe very close proximity of the A/C unites in each room. We were in our room for over 2 hours to take a nap, and when we got ready to leave we had extreme headaches and felt very light headed and woozy. We realized that a vehicle had been backed into the space in front of our room while the engine ran the whole time we were in the room sleeping. The A/C had ****** in exhaust the whole time we had napped. VERY DANGEROUS. When advised the owner HE immediately told us that he would initiate a strict policy against backed in Parking. In talking with some of the staff during the more than sufficient breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, huge waffles, and very delicious breakfast sausage, along with what is often standard for Economy Lodging of other companies of cold breakfast cereal and toast, rolls and perhaps some fruit and yogurt. Nothing too fancy but just what a traveler wants to start the day. Several indicated after we thanked them for the great breakfast that WYNDHAM was indicating that ”breakfast was being phased OUT???? !!!!!. That is probably the one thing that is a determiner of whether to stay or not. NO Breakfast!! NO STAY! I realize that it is probable to say that most of the WYNDHAM Hierarchy has NOT ever stayed overnight in the Days Inn Facilities across the country. I'm sure they stay in the HIGH CLASS hotels instead who have excellent breakfasts usually. Eliminate a good breakfast and eliminate a great many of your patrons. You will for sure get a big -1 rating for that.
4. There is NO place to hang your clothes while staying there overnight or for an extended few days. One likes to be able to hang up the clothes and relax instead of living out of the suitcase. No closet in the room. Only a colored board on the wall with two extremely large L shaped hooks that will not let a shirt even be hung without falling down. Hangers if you have them will not fit on them either. When asked about why the staff personnel simply stated that WYNDHAM removed the closets and replaced them with the ”two useless deformed hooks” (that's last part is my rendition” not what they really said.) When asked why, they said they have no answer simply lots of complaints about it.
MY PLEA is: ”WAKE UP WYNDHAM” and stop being like so many corporations are who seem to only care about the ”ALMIGHTY DOLLAR” instead of being there to REALLY serve the public who may not be so wealthy and for whom the ”Economy Hotels” were made for. They still need to be comfortable and usable.

GGuest UserTwo separate sets of elevators. We were in the ”house” section. Room was small and have never experienced 2 twin beds in a hotel until now. Location for price is good. I figured out too late that we could have taken the train/tran to the Convention center for $1.25 each way or $3 a day. There are 3 rail platforms less than a block from the hotel to take you north, south, east or west. Great bars and restaurant within walking distance.

SS CookLobby was fully of guests for over 3 hours trying to check in with only 1 at front desk, seemed like some guest had reservations booked online and it wasn't in the system after 1 hour.
thankfully, got room keys, but the rooms card reader was not working. then discovered it was working for room next door. after explaining to the front desk, got a completely different room. The AC seem to not work great, but was enough to sleep.
the breakfast was very weak coffee and a pack of breakfast cookies. Is this what they call contenital these days?
this hotel is ran by Krank Hospitality. sure they are running more, hopefully they will improve the breakfast.

GGwenyvere9Check-in was a breeze and Veronica at the front desk was very pleasant. Once in the room, because I cleaned up water spilt on the floor, I found the white toilet paper turned absolutely black AND with ***** hairs on it to boot. All this within 1sq ft. I called the lobby and asked how often the floors were mopped. I was told “every day.” I related what I had found to the contrary and was asked if I wished to change rooms to which I said “yes!”. When I went down to retrieve the new key, I took the wadded toilet paper with me and she took a picture of it before throwing it in the garbage! There were two very large, well lit, vending machines in a hallway off the main lobby, and the ice machine was in good working order and the ice, clean and solidly frozen.  I decided I was too tired to check and see if the new rooms’ floor was dirty or not so I proceeded to not ever walk on the floor with my bare feet. The day manager, Mari, was very nice and the coffee was hot fresh out of the thermos on the side table…hot water and tea bags also available. If you detest “sweet ‘n low” bring your own natural sugar.
I ran into the head of housekeeping and happened to mention how disgustingly dirty the floors were in my first room, and I informed her that the night manager had taken a picture of what I had wiped up on my piece of toilet paper and she said she would go and ask to see it. I later learned that Mayra had indeed done so. So that was good attention to detail. Everything in the room worked fine including the remote and TV, the microwave was spotless and looked brand new and it even had a childproof lock on it for those families traveling with curious offspring that haven’t internalized the meaning of “NO” yet 😵💫. The refrigerator was spotless and new looking as well. WiFi was strong and reliable. I walked by the pool, which I noticed was closed (understandable for this time of year!). It was full of water, but I must say that it looked the equivalent of a Louisiana swamp and I was prepared to see a ‘gator come climbing up those darkened, slimy stairs at any point in time.😆 The parking lot at night is VERY well lit around the entire property which is a very welcome sight!
Being right off the interstate doesn’t provide for any exciting venues to walk to but there IS a wonderful grocery store (HEB) .7miles away straight down Rundeburg on Lamar/Rundeburg. Other than that there are a plethora of food trucks doling out South American ‘cuisine’ just yards from the front of the hotel as well as across the street. I didn’t try any of them so cannot opine.

GGuest UserMuch better than the last time and I am absolutely grateful that we could work things out and the staff was amazing and the communication has definitely gotten so much better and what a blessing may all are so from my last review till now please exclude that I was disrespectful I wasn’t understanding And they have things going on that they had no control over and I should have been a better person which I was not absolutely amazing staff blessed by God and a heart of gold and I’m thankful that they took my apology for my rudeness of the last review. It was an all God trip this time and that’s the only way I can say it is Love God first and the things that we do wrong he’ll help correct even if we’re stubborn old mules, and I’m just thankful that they forgave me and what a blessed visit it was I’m cleaning this was 100%. They went above and beyond on all levels and just so much more so don’t question when you stay here I never will again they are very forgiving people even when we make mistakes and get misconstrued and I’m grateful for that, I thank God for this visit again and the ability to have a safe place to stay and very caring and loving people All ages  and hearts of gold so the one thing I can say I’ve learned all this before we use our sharp tongues and source to tear somebody down or tear a place down. Remember our wrongs cause no one is perfect even if we have to eat the crow at least do it with learning and understanding that the next time that could actually hurt a business and take away from them and that’s not right beyond lovely people people of God I’m grateful for everything and anything and I can’t say in detail, but I just can’t say enough that treat him like gold. They deserve it. Don’t treat him like crap. We’re all human. Please remember that God gave us a chance to love and cheer people up. Remember, they have good days and bad days too like we do. They deserve respect, honor, and being treated like class not beneath our feet, and these people are way above and honorable and classy, and I’m thankful for them! y’all have a blessed day just remember who you tear down you may not get a second chance to fix it hope and pray that God will let you fix it his way not our way. Thank you to the amazing staff the building and everything I was truly blessed to just be in the presence of y’all and magnificent of being around y’all and your nice building and I thank God for people like you have an absolutely blessed day and trust God with your life you’ll fix what we can’t fix!

HH KBreraThis the worst ripoff I ever had, the pictures are deceiving no such thing like a resort and or Hotel, this is more likely a 5th level motel so deceiving so highly priced for the real rooms quality. The phone line was death, I had to walk in to the lobby for service , I will rate this place - 1000 if it was possible , location is great but no quality parking control anybody can drive in and use a suppose to be a private beach for the guests, at check
Put time I asked for some kind of reference # and or statement and I was told to ask trip.com for my check out time and or check out statement after this lack
Of honesty ripoff I was highly concerned to be charge for extra time and or incidentals I never used and when I ask for some kind of evidence and or printout statement they call security to kick me out and if they didn’t was because Inturned my phone camera on
