In winter, Lianbao Yeze is truly the "Devil's City"

Lianbao Yeze in winter is a less popular attraction with very few people around, and cars can drive into the scenic area, which is mostly visited by locals. It takes about seven hours to drive from Chengdu to Aba County, and from Aba to Lianbao Yeze is a forty-minute drive. The altitude of Aba County is around 3000 meters, with winter temperatures ranging from -7℃ to 4℃. It usually gets above zero in the afternoon. The weather on the plateau is changeable, so it's best to bring anti-skid chains, although most days are sunny. On the way to Aba County, after leaving the highway, the scenery is quite nice, and you can stop along the way to take photos. Be sure to guard against the wind, as it is really strong there. The food in Aba County is quite average, so pay attention to food hygiene. Getting diarrhea at high altitude is a terrible thing. (It's best to go straight to the hospital, as it may cause altitude sickness) Inside the Lianbao Yeze scenic area, there is a two-story, fully transparent coffee shop where you can borrow water from the owner to make instant noodles. The price of coffee is very expensive, around 65 yuan for a latte. The price of tiramisu is reasonable, not much more expensive than outside. On our return trip, we encountered heavy snow. Be sure to slow down and drive carefully, don't brake suddenly or turn the steering wheel abruptly. Just hold the steering wheel firmly throughout the journey, and don't be too nervous; it's also a good driving experience.
