Chongqing! An affordable hotel with unlimited stay extensions

Reunited once again at the Raffles City InterContinental Hotel in Chongqing|| 1️⃣This is my Nth stay at the Raffles City InterContinental, it seems that I choose to stay here every time I come to Chongqing since it was built. 2️⃣On one hand, the hotel is connected to the Raffles City shopping mall, making dining, entertainment, shopping, and leisure very convenient. On the other hand, it is a landmark of Chongqing, and staying inside allows you to overlook Chaotianmen and the confluence of the two rivers. 3️⃣It's within a half-hour walk to Jiefangbei, Hongya Cave, and Longmenhao Old Street across the river. I walked over the bridge to Longmenhao Old Street. 4️⃣The hotel upgraded me to a junior suite, which is quite comfortable with a great view of the river, and the duvet is super comfy. The executive lounge is very supportive, and you can basically get full during happy hour, with the executive treatment including a free daily refill of the mini-fridge. 5️⃣The gym is well-equipped and open 24 hours, and the high-altitude swimming pool is very therapeutic. 6️⃣The hotel's Chinese and Western restaurants, buffet restaurant, and high-altitude bar (play) are all great, worth trying if you're not short on cash. 7️⃣Because it's located at Chaotianmen, you have to go through a bridge to get in and out, which can be a bit congested. It's necessary to plan ahead during peak hours and leave some buffer time.
