Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park is also famous as a cherry blossom spot. It seems that the number of foreign tourists has surged since the G7 Summit in 2023. The cherry blossoms across the Motoyasu River from the Peace Memorial Park, with a view of the Atomic Bomb Dome on the opposite bank, are a classic spot for cherry blossom photography and are bustling with many tourists. Next to the Atomic Bomb Dome is the Origami Crane Tower, which has an admission fee of 2200 yen and is relatively expensive, but the observation deck offers a panoramic view of Hiroshima city. If you extend your walk a little further along the river, you can see the Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima soccer stadium, which just opened in March 2024.
