Tianzhugou Grand Canyon

The Tianzhugou Grand Canyon is located in the scenic southern section of the Taihang Mountains, situated within the territory of Nanzhai Town, Huixian City, Henan Province. It covers an area of over 30,000 acres. The 229 provincial road, Xinjin Expressway, and Hehui Expressway pass through the area, which borders Lingchuan and Huguan in Shanxi to the west and north. The average altitude is 1300 meters, with the highest point around 1600 meters. This is a block mountain range formed by the uplift of faults on the ancient landmass. The geological base layer is mainly composed of complex monoclinic folds, with towering cliffs and rivers cutting into deep and dangerous canyons. The terrain is steep and majestic, making it a spectacular sight. The landscape is full of unique and beautiful rocks, quiet and beautiful wilderness. The geological features can be summarized as mountains, cliffs, canyons, paths, springs, waterfalls, and pools.
