#thailandtrip This is my favourite beach I've been to! I'm not sure why, but it never seems to be busy. It's sheltered from the noise of the road by the trees, which also provide a little bit of shade. Luckily there are a few bamboo structures to lie under for a bit more shade. There are also a couple of bars where you can buy drinks and food and also have a shower and toilet.

On this trip from Phuket to Krabi and then to Lanta, in the end, even the faces of Asian tourists were nowhere to be seen, surrounded by Westerners... The hotel is located on Klong Dao Beach, just a stone's throw away from a private beach, surrounded by the blue Andaman paradise and a dense tropical rainforest. Villas with thatched roofs are embedded in the green forest, giving off a strong natural atmosphere. Lanta has many islands to hop, if you can't hop anymore, just float in the pool.
