Retro Traditional Japanese houses

A pity was a few days earlier at Shirakawa-Go before it started snowing. It was raining instead. If not it would be picturesque with the snow covering the roofs of the traditional Japanese homes. So be sure to check the weather if you intend to see the snow. A very unique small village worth visiting. Not many shops around and limited food choices. Overall I would give it a 4/5 star rating .
