Thailand's 🇹🇭 islands and beaches are a tropical paradise in everyone's dreams. I recommend a pristine and niche vacation island - Koh Lipe. Why go? Get away from the world on an island with secluded beaches, where you can live out your "Survivor" dreams. This is Koh Tarutao Marine National Park in southern Thailand. Recently, Biao Ge visited one of its islands, Koh Lipe. The silver, pristine beaches, graceful coconut trees, and magnificent sunsets leave visitors in awe and reluctant to leave. 📍HOW TO GO? As it is located in the southern part of Thailand near Malaysia, there are mainly two routes to get here. One is to fly to Hat Yai, the capital of Songkhla Province in southern Thailand, from major cities in Southeast Asia such as Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, and then rent a car or take a bus to Pak Bara Pier in Satun (about 3 hours), and take a speedboat to the island (about 1.5 hours). The other is to take a speedboat directly from Langkawi, Malaysia to the island (about 2.5 hours). The above speedboats operate mainly from mid-October to mid-April each year. 📆WHEN to go: The cool season of Thailand's Andaman Sea islands is from November to April each year, with sunny weather, cool temperatures, and clear air, making it suitable for travel. The islands are closed from May to October, with few ferries and many resorts closed. 🏌️HOW TO ENJOY? If you are familiar with Thai islands, this is the Pee Pee Island 20 years ago in the hearts of Thai people, which is the Maldives in Thailand. There are still original Mo Ken people (who live by fishing and believe in Islam) on the triangular island with three beaches. Pattaya Beach is the hub for entering and leaving the island. You need to go through customs from Langkawi. The main commercial area on the island is concentrated here, with resorts, restaurants, travel agencies, massage shops, and diving shops. The pedestrian street on the beach is worth a visit and is also the center of nightlife on the island. There are also sunset beach and sunrise beach on the island, which are the favorite of photography enthusiasts. You can watch the spectacular and gorgeous sunrise and sunset of the Andaman Sea on the island, go hiking in the tropical forest, practice beach yoga and meditation, and also go to nearby Adang Island and Rawi Island (Koh Adang & Koh Rawi) for island hopping, snorkeling, deep diving, and visiting the primitive tribe of Mo Ken. 📍WHERE TO STAY? Due to its secluded and low-key nature, besides locals and European and American backpackers, this place has not been overly developed, maintaining the original ecological style of Thailand's native fishing islands. Hotels are mainly concentrated on Pattaya Beach, and those who like photography can stay at the resort on Sunset Beach. Our choice is Lipe Beach Resort on Pattaya Beach, with a moderate price, facing the bay, all are separate small wooden houses, surrounded by lush green trees, and the scenery is good. If the budget is sufficient, you can go to The Cliff Lipe, where each room is built on a cliff, facing the sea with sunset and evening glow, making it the best choice for honeymooners.
