Great location, excellent service, and a lovely breakfast! The room was very clean and tidy, and the staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included in the price, which made the stay even better value. There is a huge open field and a very clean river right next to the hotel. You can see people practising rowing, and walking along both sides of the river is really relaxing. There are also mallards and swans nearby, and you can buy special swan food from the hotel bar to feed them. I originally chose this place because the town is close to Cambridge and the price was reasonable, but I ended up really enjoying the town itself. With such a beautiful location, good service, and affordable price, this hotel is definitely great value for money.

The room decor was quite distinctive and to my taste. We stayed in one of the slightly larger rooms, but it still felt a bit cramped because the bathroom and balcony were incorporated, making the space feel tight. The environment is nice, being close to the river, which is quite picturesque. If you prioritize the surroundings, it's a good choice. However, the bed was too soft and uncomfortable to sleep on, and the staff's attitude was also rather unenthusiastic.

A dream hotel! This was my absolute favorite hotel during my UK trip, bar none. The rooms are exquisite. We booked two rooms this time, a loft suite and a king room. The price difference wasn't huge, but the suite was incredible – it had a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, it was fantastic. The air conditioning worked great, and the breakfast was delicious. It's about 1km from Cambridge University, easily accessible. There are temporary parking spots out front, and overnight parking in the basement, so no worries there. Two points for domestic travelers to note: 1. The EV charging station app in the basement cannot be downloaded or used by iPhones in mainland China or Hong Kong. Friends with electric cars should be aware of this. 2. The immediate area isn't particularly safe. When I went to the supermarket, I noticed that the people around seemed a bit questionable, especially if you go further north. For those concerned about safety, just avoid wandering around the area at night. The hotel itself is excellent and meets most needs.

This is a very old hotel, the hotel is a bit old, but the room is large, the hotel is good, the only drawback is that there is no elevator on the second floor, but the overall stay experience is still good, the best choice for family travel, facilities are also very good!

This was my second stay at the hotel in a single room 114. I decided to stay again as it was very good value and a fairy short walk into Cambridge. I had a different single room than before and it was Ok. It had a decent shower and a comfortable bed. I was very cosy. The room had T and coffee facilities, and a T pot that I greatly appreciated during my last stay. I had a better view in this single room which was nice. It is a short walk to the shops, bus stop and the museums. As I was visiting cultural venues it’s a great positioned hotel not far from The Cambridge Museum and the Castle. I really liked staying in this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was very good value with really good ham, fresh fruit and yoghurts, nice muffins ext. there is plenty of spaces available to relax in the hotel. If you like 90s retro the spaces are great! The staff were very helpful and I stowed luggage so that I could visit Cambridge. It’s a great value hotel for solo travellers so please keep a good price for us! A very good stay here I will be back. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, pleasant, and clean. The bed was comfortable, though a bit firm. The bathroom could use some maintenance (broken floor tile, grout, and shower seal need replacing), but it was clean and perfectly functional. Nice, large towels were provided, along with a hairdryer and kettle. Minor downsides: I could hear traffic from the road next to the hotel, and parking costs £10 per 24 hours.

Does everything it says on the tin. Staff were nice, food was good. The rooms were spacious with working tv. Bathroom had a hot shower with bath. All clean and comfy beds

The front desk initially confused me with another guest and then assigned us a room on the top floor. The route they directed us to the room was also incredibly bizarre; we had to go down one floor then up three, which was quite a struggle with luggage. Inside the room, it was extremely hot and there was no fan. When we opened the window, it was completely covered in spiderwebs.
