The hotel has been renovated, the rooms and facilities are all new, the environment is very good, the location is convenient, the JR station is only 5 minutes away from the hotel, the staff are friendly and polite, I recommend it to everyone
Beautiful appearance, good location, good view room, and the restaurant breakfast food is sufficient. But the room is old and dusty, the bed is too low and too soft, and there are too few pillows and they are too collapsed, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
Like most Japanese hotels, the room was small but well-equipped, even coming with a mini-fridge. The service was excellent. It was also quite convenient to stay here for visiting Hitachi Seaside Park to see the nemophila flowers. It's just a few minutes' walk from Mito Station. Right in front of the hotel are the Sakura River and Senba Lake, where we saw wild ducks, swans, and black swans. It's about a 30-minute walk to Kairakuen Garden, a popular spot for locals to stroll and jog. I imagine it would be beautiful during cherry blossom season in spring and plum blossom season in winter.
Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, public bath available. Location is in front of the station. There is a fee for of 600 for parking. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hoshino Resort BEB5 Tsuchiura is a vibrant hotel in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture, conveniently located near Tsuchiura Station. Designed for young people and cycling enthusiasts, the hotel embraces the ”cycling lifestyle” theme, offering free bicycle rentals, a repair station, and the option to bring your own bike to your room. It seamlessly connects to the 180km Lake Kasumigaura loop. The spacious rooms feature modern styling with Japanese tatami elements and are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, and private bathrooms. Guests generally praise their cleanliness and comfort. The hotel's 24-hour café offers a relaxed atmosphere, featuring an industrial-style design and a large screen broadcasting live cycling events. Bringing your own food is welcome, adding to the casual atmosphere. While the service is friendly and attentive, breakfast is available for an additional fee and the selection is somewhat limited. The hotel is ideal for travelers seeking freedom and exploration, especially those who cyclists or those on short trips, though the design may not appeal to those with a more traditional taste.
The room is very spacious, much larger than expected.
Although it is in the annex, it is very convenient.
After getting off the bus, you can take the elevator to the second floor of the main building at Tsukuba Center, and then take the elevator/stairs down to the first floor to check in.
There is a reminder to recycle toothbrushes inside.
It is worthy of being Japan, environmentally friendly♻️
The sunken square next to the door is also quite design-oriented.
There are very few people.
This time I used a large room, but I can spend comfortably in any single room. The large communal bath is clean and the hot water is good, and it is hard to enter late at night and early in the morning. Breakfast has Japanese and Western food, and there are not many types, but all are delicious. I always use it when I go to Ishioka.
For some reason I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be really good. The staff were very friendly, it smelled nice, and everything was very clean.
The large public bath was also very comfortable, and the quality of the amenities was good.
You can also rent bicycles to explore the surrounding area, so even by yourself it was a lot of fun. Every single thing at breakfast was delicious. The day before I went to a breakfast buffet at a hotel in Ginza, but this was far better. It was twice the price, though.
I was disappointed in a way. I'd like to use it again.
The hotel is small but the environment is good, just by the sea, there are not many types of breakfast, but the Japanese who are traveling together say that the breakfast here is very good, I don’t feel too much, it’s good to run along the coast in the afternoon, but if you think the waves are noisy, don’t live here.
It was a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and clean, and the large windows offered a great view. We also got free access to the hot springs next door, so it was great value for money.

GGuest UserAccess is excellent as it is right in front of the station rotary. This is probably the oldest hotel in this area.
Breakfast was delicious at the teppanyaki restaurant in the hotel.
I think it would be nice to have a USB power jack or charger these days.
MM15345****A decent hotel. The service was excellent. They offered free dandan noodles for a late-night snack. The hot springs were excellent. It happened to be the Lantern Festival, and the open-air baths, enjoying the cool breeze and bright moonlight, were quite relaxing. Just be sure to pay attention to the bus schedule from the hotel to the station. When booking, I thought it would run every hour, but it turned out to be only available at 15:10. Although we missed the shuttle, the bus was quite convenient. Just be sure to prepare small change in cash or PayPay. I personally think the 100-year-old plum wine is superb. Highly recommended.
SSylviahuanThe room was new and beautiful, with clean comforters and pillows. Best of all, it's right inside the station circle, which is incredibly convenient! Lawson is right downstairs, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you won't be hungry. Katsuta Station is a major station, so connecting everywhere is very convenient. I'll definitely choose Terrace INN next time I visit!
TTCLYHotel facilities are general, the hotel is more difficult, the parking lot is often full, go to the parking lot around yourself is more troublesome, breakfast do not ask too much to eat a belly, if you hit the April cherry blossom season 𠮶 cherry blossoms are good.
AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and spotless. Amenities such as face/batth towel, coffee drips, face cream etc are self-helped.
We ran into issue checking in as we reserved 2 rooms for 3 pax. Somehow the reservation was confused and we had to pay additional for 3rd person.
Thankfully it was resolved by Trip.
Sswaco1Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, public bath available. Location is in front of the station. There is a fee for of 600 for parking. Staff were friendly and helpful.
FFENGLINFront desk: The service is very good, there is a Taiwanese sister who speaks Chinese, and the communication depends on her. In the middle of the night, there should be only one security grandfather. Food: Everything is delicious. It is available in the morning and evening, but it needs to be booked in advance. The food office near the 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon will be off work. If the hotel is expensive, the hotel also has instant noodles. But it is recommended to try dinner, it is delicious. Hot springs: There is an open air! if you are willing to! You can go to the bubble 24 hours a day! And very few people! One word: cool! A variety of skin care, cleaning products, are also very easy to use (sensitive skin measured), it is worthwhile to try to empty. Room: The room is spacious and it looks like which one you booked. Shrine: The Tsukuba Shrine is going out and turning right. When you look up at the hotel door, you will see the bird house. From that bird house, you will enter. After visiting the shrine, go to the orbital station and follow the tips on the left to climb some steps. The track goes back and forth 1050 yen. The top of the mountain: To the top of the mountain is the male body mountain, very close; to the right is the female body mountain, the mountain road is not easy to walk, 15 minutes, you can go to a mountaintop, there is a small hall. You can choose to take the cable car over there, but will not return to the hotel.
GGuest UserThe service staff is very friendly and nice. The breakfast and supper are very satisfactory. There are hot springs and massage chairs, which are very comfortable and can eliminate a day's fatigue. There are also free popsicles and lactic acid drinks. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserThe staff were very nice, I had no difficulty checking in, and I received a free meal (frozen to put in the microwave). There is a Lawson just a block away. The room was very clean (no odor at all), much more spacious than I expected, and there were plenty of electrical outlets, even one next to the bed. There was an air purifier/humidifier and an AC/heating unit. Some people probably like the firmness of the bed, but I would have preferred it to be softer. I wished there was a reading lamp at the head of the bed.
FYI: There are steps to enter each room and a large step into the bathroom.
GGuest UserThe staff was helpful, the hotel was close to the train station, which was convenient. One of the nights we had free kare for dinner at the hotel.
