The hotel is incredibly convenient for getting to and from Tokushima Station. The only downside is that there aren't many shops nearby for browsing, but finding places to eat is easy. The room was spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities, I just couldn't find a shoehorn.

Very very good place to stay, especially if you're in Iya. Highly recommended and it's so near iya bridge that you can drop by early while there's NOONE. But very strict on timing so 3pm check-in but you can walk around. Very good dinner and local breakfast. Room was awesome! Just stay here, will stay here again! Onsen was good too!

As nice a hotel as anyone would want to stay in while visiting Tokushima on the island of Shikoku. Terrific service, clean facilities and room, an amazing bonus free onsen (hot springs), a very well equipped gym which is a bit rare in Japan and the property is located right in the middle of town next to the central train and bus stations. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood as well as a shopping centre across the road and lot's of small shops nearby. Upon first arriving, the entrance is a little tricky to locate so be sure and follow the instructions that will come with the booking confirmation.

We’re a family travelling with 3 kids so we booked 2 corner rooms for the needed space. 1) We were given 2 corner rooms at opposite ends of the floor, so we had to walk up & down & up & down the corridor to pass stuff to one another, so that was a bit inconvenient. The hotel refused at first to give us a 2nd key card saying that only 1 is allowed. 2) The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy but the pillows were very flat, so we requested for more pillows but they still didn’t provide much support. There was an electric small leg massager in room. 3) The sink in the toilet was v low, so adults wld have to bend over a bit more. But bathing area & shower was spacious and comfortable. 4) Hotel location was right next to JR, and lots of food options so it was great as we didn’t do hotel breakfast. There is no drop off point for cars or taxis at the hotel as the hotel lobby is on 3rd floor of building. 5) We drove a 7 seater car(to accommodate luggages) so the roof was too high & had to be parked at a Times public carpark 2 mins away that we paid for. 6) All in all, a recommended hotel in Tokushima & we would return to stay again due to central location & shopping areas all reachable on foot.

The hotel is very close to the prefectural office, which gives a strange sense of security 😅. If you're coming from the JR station, you'll need to take a bus or a taxi. For a regional city in Japan, the room was surprisingly spacious. There's a Lawson convenience store right across the street.

Hotel is located near the art museum and next to a beautiful beach with a wonderful sea view. There are two onsen and both are good. And there are several restaurants serving Japanese and French cuisines. The prices are reasonable and we enjoyed a wonderful French Kaiseki. The resort is well managed and guests are warmly greeted and helped with luggage on arrival and departure. It’s highly recommended.

The location is close to station with a plenty of food options. There is also a small shopping centre next to it. The room itself is a decent size, you can open luggages comfortably. Amenities such as toothbrush and pajamas are provided nearby the front desk. There is a microwave downstairs for guest use and some vending machines. The staff doesn't speak much English but they use a translator device so it is okay. We got a non smoking room but it smelled smoky, so we requested a change of room from the female staff on shift, and she was able to act on it quickly despite the language barrier. I commend the good service. Lastly, if you're a light sleeper you may be careful because the walls are thin and you can pretty much hear anything from the hallways. Wear some earplugs and you'll be fine!

We traveled during the Awa Odori Festival and chose to stay at Anan because it was less crowded. This super hotel also maintained its usual high standards, with many details just right. I recommend it for self-driving tours, as parking is convenient. Special thanks to Mr. and Ms. Sugihara for their excellent service.

The hotel is clean and tidy. Parking is convenient for self-driving tours. There are parking spaces in front and behind the hotel gate. There are many choices of restaurants around the hotel. There is also a large bathing area to soak away fatigue. I have stayed many times and am very satisfied with the hotel facilities and staff services. excellent

It is very convenient to walk to the hotel from Tokushima Train Station for more than ten minutes. Awa Dance Hall is just across the road to the right of the hotel entrance, and it only takes three minutes to walk there. There is a 7-11 convenience store across the road on the left hand side when you exit the hotel. It seems to be the only convenience store in the surrounding area. You need to climb over the overpass at the hotel entrance. The hotel's internal services and facilities are complete and perfect, and the service staff are also very enthusiastic. My friend lost a ring without knowing it, but the hotel took the initiative to return it when he checked out, which made my friend overjoyed. The buffet breakfast is located in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel. It is not very rich, but it is exquisite and delicious. Tokushima is very quiet. The sun has not yet completely set. Around four or five o'clock in the afternoon, the streets of Tokushima seem particularly deserted. Perhaps it is the chill of late autumn that has swept away people's enthusiasm for shopping. There are almost no people on the main streets in the city, and there are no tourists. The shops also closed early in the biting cold wind. Walking on the street, the only sound I could hear besides the sound of cars passing by was my own footsteps. The girls and boys dancing the Awa Odori standing at the bridgehead of Shinmachi River made me seem to have found a little bit of popularity. Perhaps, we need to wait until the Awa Odori Festival to see the excitement of Tokushima. Who says it isn’t? Escaping from the hustle and bustle and finding a quiet little town is the ideal of traveling. Maybe such a little town and such a hotel are just what you want… ⋯⋯

한성It is an unmanned place, but it is a method of calling the staff by the phone placed at the desk and finding the key in the room reserved in the keybox. The staff only speaks basic English, so you should prepare a measure to communicate in Japanese. Early check-in and spacious rooms and bathrooms are hard to find in Japan. The water pressure in the bathroom is strong and the hot water comes out well. It's equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. But the mattress on the bed was dead with all the cushions. If you go to Tokushima, I'll find this place again.

GGuest UserThe hotel service is beyond my expectation for a business hotel. I was staying here since the weather situation so I had to stay at awa-ikeda for one more day, and this one looked reasonable for its location and price. After I booked, I went to the hotel about 10am, to drop my bag and folding bicycle. The staff was extremely accommodating my request. When Incame back in the afternoon (still earlier than the checkin time), sitting in the lobby, playing with my phone. After a while, the staff told me the room was ready. All staff members are extremely good and willing to help.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff was very friendly and the parking lot was quite spacious with 7-Eleven across the street, so the location was good. The boat dock where you can see the whirlpools of Naruto Bridge is about 12 to 15 minutes away by car, and in my case, the whirlpools came out once at 9:00 and once at 9:30 the next morning, so I had to stay as close as possible. If the whirlpools come out in the afternoon, it doesn't matter, but if you come out early in the morning, this accommodation seems to be the best place to stay considering the time.

LLhamo Dolma HollandVery nice welcome by the owner and great stay! The rooms is nice and clean and also the shared bathroom & restroom. The room itself was nice, clean, stylish ((Japese room) Downstairs you can sit for a tea or coffee (free) so that’s very nice! Opposite the the guesthouse is also a convenient shop. So the location is also nice! We stayed there on the pelgrimage tour. So overall I can really recommend the small hotel! Please try it yourself! Very nice experience!
