Hotels With Parking in Riviere du Rempart, Mauritius

Location was OK. A bit far from Port Louis where I was commuting to (like 30-40 minutes drive after peak hour), but I chose that so it’s OK. I wanted to retreat. Getting taxis after 8pm as a foreigner without local taxi apps is a nightmare so be conscious of this. The cleanliness was wanting. First day big cockroach emerges crawling and at check in the manager just stomps it and kicks it out. No issue but the stain is was on the floor next day when I returned, unmopped! I also found a smaller one on the coffee table, smacked it with my slipper and left the carcass there to test if it would be cleaned as I’d read reviews about bugs and cleanliness needing improvement. It was still there till I messaged concierge to complain about poor cleaning. The dishes also had some stains on some days and the kitchen counter tops were not cleaned with one day me finding cooking oil residue on it after I’d made an egg, exactly where I left it. Again, to test cleaning rigour. The extra kitchen/ dish cloth that was folded and left in the drawer also had flour residue. It obviously wasn’t cleaned or even checked before being returned. On day 2 I was met by a huge flying cockroach on my bedroom wall that I used all the Doom on (thank God they provide this in the apartment 🫣) as I’m petrified of bugs and huge flying ones at that! I left the carcass on the floor after battling that creature for like 30 minutes to test housekeeping and thankfully this one was removed as I left it in plain sight. I had to tell concierge at check out that cleaning in this place needs massive massive improvement. Otherwise it’s a great huge space with great amenities and fittings, loads of parking space and well located for a vacation. The breakfast was just OK. Nothing special. Concierge was proactive in communicating and the security levels are good. They charge a $/€550 deposit on top of the accommodation rate at check in so read the fine print. But it is just a pre-authorization on card so instantly released to card, if you damage nothing. If cash, it’s also instant at check out. I would return, but they need to work out their housekeeping and fumigation issues.

Wir sind positiv überrascht das die Familien Villa räumlich viel Platz hatte , und 2 kleine  Balkone . In der Anlage direkt am Strand gibt es ein schönes Restaurant im Boho Stil eingerichtet und das Personal ist überall sehr freundlich .  Wir hatten Fam. Villa 201 , die schön eingerichtet war .2Schlafzimmer , kl. Wohnzimmer und Badezimmer mit WC und Dusche war gut .  Wir haben hier gemütlich und sicher gewohnt ohne Lärmbelästigungen . Wichtig !  Den Schlüssel zur Villa musste man an der Rezeption abgeben, damit die Wohnung gereinigt und die Betten gemacht werden konnten . Es gibt keinen Zweitschlüssel ?!

The hotel is in need of a makeover, some of the fittings a little outdated. The pool is little more than a plunge pool though the setting is superb. The breakfast is average, so much so that whilst my wife went for breakfast most days I stayed in the room and just had yoghurts. The minibar doesn’t work and nothing is cold in it. There’s no room service menu though they allow outside deliveries for guests. That’s all the bad points. Now for the good points. The rooftop bar is relaxed and atmospheric, the sunsets there are sensational and the cocktails are superb. The service from the staff was incredible. Always helpful and informative and willing to go the extra mile to make you welcome and that makes up for the shortcomings of the actual building itself. Also the location close to Perrybere beach and a short taxi ride to Grand Baie is pretty good too, though it’s a long taxi ride from the airport.

Typical Mauritian complex hotel very well arranged and charming which offers many activities and well located to shine in the North of Mauritius. Everything is available to ensure that your stay goes perfectly (assistance, activities, visits, taxi, etc.) Several restaurants available on site (buffet restaurant and restaurants highlighting local gastronomy) included in the price for half board and all in. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and varied and also highlights local cuisine. The staff is attentive and very helpful. For information, ask to book restaurants to be able to taste the different local cuisines (Indian, Mauritian and Chinese).

We stayed at Residence Le Point Choisy in January-February 2026 in an apartment with a kitchen. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything guests could need. The kitchen was fully equipped, even including spices and oil. Drinking water was freely available with coolers located in the common hallway. A big plus was the breakfast, which was included in the price and served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. There's a mini-market in the same building, but on the opposite side from the main entrance. You can buy vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meat, sweets, alcohol, and more there. The apart-hotel also has underground parking, but you need to inform the staff in advance if you require a parking space. The beautiful public beach of Mont Choisy is very close by, just a 10-15 minute walk. The owner and staff are very attentive to their guests and try their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Beach towels are provided in a special bag, which is very convenient for carrying them to the beach. You can also request beach chairs and an umbrella. But that's not all! Upon check-in, you receive a special folder with all the useful information to help you settle in with minimal fuss. We had a wonderful two weeks and hope to return to Mauritius and stay at Residence Le Point Choisy again.

В первую очередь хочется начать с положительных сторон этого отеля, их две- красивая и ухоженная территория, а также красивый интерьер в комнате и вкусная еда по меню на ужине. На этом плюсы заканчиваются. Это был наш третий отель на острове в данной категории и поэтому есть, с чем сравнить. Самое неудачное место по уровню сервиса. Конечно, если вы непритязательный отдыхающий, то это место подойдёт. Нам показалось, что дело обстоит в крайнем низкой налаженности процессов управления внутри отеля и экономии на всём. В номере лежат капсулы и кофемашина, которые являются платными ( бесплатны только две капсулы кофе на весь срок пребывания). Всё напитки на ужине являются платными, даже вода. Еда вкусная, но помимо этого немаловажно отметить, что на ужине много раз приходилось ждать еду по два часа. Мы высказывали свое недовольство неоднократно и не готовы сидеть в столовый два часа, так как у нас есть работа и мы очень ограничены во времени. Наверное, повар просто не справляется приготовить такое количество еды для подобной загрузки отеля. Некоторые люди просто вставали и уходили, не дождавшись десерта. Это крайнее неуважение к гостям. В первые дни мы заметили, что шампуни, гели для душа и другие предметы не пополняются после уборки, просили на ресепшн принять меры, но только после письменной жалобы они приняли меры и стали более внимательно следить за уборкой. Спасибо за оперативную реакцию, мы рады, что отель реагирует и прислушивается. Наверное, я бы рекомендовала этот отель брать изначально без питания, либо только завтраки. Отель предоставляет бесплатные каяки, катамаран, на которых можно поплавать вдоль пляжа, хамам. Есть чайная пауза ( полдник) : первый день бесплатно, потом по 350 рупий в день. Персонал дружелюбный и стремится помочь, но нужно работать сразу быстро и чётко, чтобы у гостя не оставалось неприятное впечатление.

Absolutely perfect! 100% recommended. We loved everything: the setting, the welcome, the services, the food. This place is like paradise! The staff is lovely and the trip was magical! This is our third stay and we will definitely be back!!

Отличное место, удобное расположение (в пешей доступности имеются магазины, супермаркеты, кафе, автобусные остановки. Пешком, также, можно дойти до городского пляжа Гран Бэй. Минут за 10-15, если не быстрее, на 82 автобусе можно добраться до пляжа Тру-О-Биш). В номере есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания: микроволновая печь, холодильник, чайник, телевизор, кондиционер, wi-fi, посуда, столовые принадлежности, шторы блэк аут, большая с удобным матрасом кровать. В номере уютно, чисто, уборка и вынос мусора предлагаются ежедневно. На прилегающей территории отеля есть место для паркинга. Отзывчивый и внимательный англоговорящий персонал. На просьбы и пожелания реагировали незамедлительно. При необходимости, персонал готов оказать по приемлемой цене услуги трансфера в любую точку острова. Всего прожила в номере 8 дней и настолько привыкла к обстановке, что чувствовала себя как дома! Очень нравилось проводить время на балконе с шикарным видом на бухту😍 Мой отъезд в аэропорт был во второй половине дня, в связи с чем руководство отеля пошло навстречу и разрешило оставить вещи до отъезда. Все отлично! Все понравилось! Спасибо за гостеприимство и отзывчивость 🙏🤗

Great place! All I think is missing is hair dryer for hair, a bigger bed and then laundry room to do laundry. Also, better lighting in rooms will be useful if you like to do makeup. Other than that, great stay😊Definitely recommend this place! People super friendly and helpful!

A beautifully integrated structure in nature ...with a beautiful swimming pool ...good breakfast ...restaurant on the paper ...free parking ...i.e. a great price/quality ratio for anyone who wants to visit the north-west part of the island.
