This hotel is the best choice for Umrah and Hajj pilgrims with a low budget. With a cheap price, they provide a shuttle bus directly under the hotel with a travel time of less than 5 minutes, plus the road from the stop to the Grand Mosque is approximately 10 minutes. The hotel is clean, complete amenities, refilled every day. There is a laundry room with 6 washing machines and a drying room. But the bathroom in tower one does not provide hot water. The AC works well. There are many shops and food under the hotel. They allow early check in as long as the room is available Top value for money.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Swissotel Makkah, and overall, it was a truly comfortable and memorable experience. Check-in Experience: The check-in process was smooth and the staff was warm and welcoming. However, due to the standard 4 PM check-in time, there were long queues at the reception. To avoid this congestion, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to arrange for early check-in, especially during peak seasons. If you’re an Accor member, the experience is even more seamless and rewarding. Ambiance & Cleanliness: From the moment you step into the hotel lobby, you’re greeted with a signature scent that flows throughout the lobby, corridors, and even into the guestroom — creating a consistent sense of calm and cleanliness. The ambiance is elegant and tranquil, offering a relaxing contrast to the bustling surroundings outside. Guestroom Experience: The room was spacious, well-maintained, and the highlight was definitely the breathtaking Kaaba view, which added a deeply spiritual and unique element to the stay. The bed linens were soft and luxurious, ensuring restful sleep. The air conditioning was perfectly calibrated, providing a refreshing escape from the intense heat outside. It made re-entering the room after a long day feel rejuvenating. The room also came equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay: coffee and tea facilities, quality toiletries, and other thoughtful amenities. Hotel Accessibility: A significant advantage of Swissotel Makkah is its location in the Abraj Clock Tower. Unlike many other hotels in the same complex, the lobby is on the ground floor, which means guests can access the rooms directly without switching elevators — a huge plus in terms of convenience. Service & Flexibility: The staff went above and beyond by offering us a late check-out while we waited for our continued stay at Swissotel Al Maqam. This thoughtful gesture truly elevated the experience and showed their commitment to guest comfort. Final Thoughts: Swissotel Makkah combines comfort, excellent service, and unmatched convenience, particularly for pilgrims and visitors seeking proximity to the Haram. Whether it’s the luxurious bed, the iconic view, or the little details that enhance your stay, this hotel delivers on all fronts. Hotel is worth for the price. It is located too far from the Haram. They provdie shuttle bus, but it's not much reliable. You need to walk 15-20 mins to get to haram from the place they drop off. It is worse when it is busier. I wouldn't prefer this hotel next time because of the location and how hard it is to get to the haram. Also, return bus after Isha could be too crowded and you may not get a chance to get in to the bus. There is not much restaurants nearby the hotel. You can either eat from haram or from the hotel.

We received a free upgrade from the kind hotel concierge lady upon checking in, we were so surprised and pleased by this upgrade. From city view to partial haram view, it was amazing masha Allah! The room was so big! The musollah was gorgeous despite the unexpected size, as I thought it would be bigger. I love the set up of the restaurant buffet, so during breakfast it feels cozy and homey but I wish there would be more variety of food like the other jabal omar hotels that we have stayed before. It could be due to their sustainability efforts so that could contribute to less food waste, I guess? As for the location wise, walking down was easy to the haram however going back by walking up the hill after completion of umrah was quite painful. We would appreciate if the hotel provide a thorough video explanation of the shuttle bus access during check ins. But other than that, we managed to figure out the shuttle bus service and indeed they are very fast *************! We were given late check out as requested ************* so we can maximise our prayers in the masjid as we have a late night flight. Do take note that uber taxis does not pick up from the hotel except for Careem. Hopefully they will open up a mall within the Address Hotel itself so that it will be easy to find lunch and dinner for our meals. We ordered dinner through room service for our first night and despite the food came an hour later, the portion size and the taste was so scrumptious and yummy! Definitely worth more to pay for the room service rather than paying for the meals at the buffet restaurant!

DoubleTree has always been my choice since i first stayed here in 2022. This is my 3rd time staying and the level of hospitality and service is so wonderful. I tried other hotels on my last visit in January 2025, but it wasn't great, so here I am back at DoubleTree. The location to the Grand Mosque of Makkah is fairly reasonable - one can walk (via Hilton Convention Hotel) - sloped surface, or take the complimentary shuttle that stops at Hilton Conrad on Jabal Omar. Wear good walking shoes. Mr. Ahmed Elsayed at the restaurant is a top-notch manager. I only mentioned something to him, and he had his colleague make it especially for me. That was totally unexpected and they both went out of their way to ensure that it was a problem. They did it again the next day. Such personable service from both gentlemen and the others at DoubleTree Makkah. The room was spacious, clean, bathroom had Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well which is something rare! And of course the signature cookies i love. Thank you!!

One of the closest hotel to masjidil haram. But have separate lift access. So you have to change lift at p10 level.. then change to main mall lift.. Breakfast is superb with egg station and pastries desk

Overall location wise 2 night stay was not bad apart from their communication system (no response from email, no response from WhatsApp number even though given mobile number on trip.com was not right.). Hotel Manager Mr Hamed service was not up to the level, he was not able to handle customers in professional way & he was rude with customers. Considering other factor like room service was very good, location outstanding 10 minutes walking distance. Shortly, i would say, if they don’t respect & value customers i would not go again, surrounding this many good hotel available where you can find room easily unless It's busy time.

I was disappointed because the receptionist have told me that I could have may money back if I check out before 2:00 pm, the amount was 100SR however, zI did not get my money back and left the hotel .

It was a very enjoyable stay everything is as it should be and the best thing is close to the Grand Mosque

Terrible customer service. Being Hilton Honors Gold member I found the customer service at reception to be extremely rude and uncomfortable. They act like hotel owners with extreme pride and arrogance. Blamed us for not paying for our room service when we definitely did . We paid over 15000 SAR to stay here and they blamed us for 100 Riyal room service. Won't let us check out because of that. Worst service ever.
