"Great location with stunning Savannah River views. Spacious room provided comfortable accommodation. However, the elevators were noticeably unclean, and there was no drinking water fountain available. The beverage vending machine was out of order or empty throughout my stay. Despite these inconveniences, the prime position and generous room size balanced the experience."

Hotel near Historic Savannah,Savannah
The recently renovated SpringHill Suites Savannah Downtown Historic District is located in the hub of downtown Savannah. Our hotel is walking distance to many restaurants, attractions and hot spots including Savannah Civic Center, Savannah Enmarket Arena, Savannah College of Art and Design SCAD, City Market and Forsyth Park. Only 20 minutes from the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport, our location is ideal for anyone traveling whether it is for leisure or business. Staying at our hotel, you'll be able to stroll the cobblestone streets near the River or take advantage of the city's complimentary transportation to explore the Girl Scout First Headquarters Museum, Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, and Cathedral Basilica of St. John. Our hotel is also the ideal choice for those traveling on business to visit Flight Safety, Gulfstream or the Georgia Port Authority. Onsite amenities include 24-hour business and fitness center, complimentary breakfast and our outdoor pool.

"The hotel is located on the edge of the historic district, so it is a quick 10-15 minute walk to either River Street or even Forsyth Park. Even the standard suites are larger than most other similar properties. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were above average. All employees from the front desk to the breakfast servers and cleaning staff were very pleasant and friendly. Rated lower in the facility category as the outside landscaping by the sidewalks was **** filled and over grown. This really detracted from the exterior appearance. The fitness was large and has a good amount of cardio equipment but only had one, torn workout bench, no area/mats for core work and the hand weights were missing all 20lb and 25lb pairs. There should be other strength training options. The breakfast food options were presented in an attractive manner with good over all quality. "

GGuest UserThis trip was booked to celebrate a birthday for my niece. The customer service was excellent as all of the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the problem was with the spa service, one of the restaurants (Linger Longer), and construction on the site. My nieces messuage was below average and when asked how her spa service was, she explain that the service she received was below average at best and she was not satisfied. She was compensated by the team that was checking us out at the Spa with half off the service. However, she did not receive the message that she was expecting and was disappointed as this was for her birthday. The second issue was with our dinner at the Linger Longer restaurant. Our appetizer was deliver to us very cold. We informed our server and she apologized and brought us back another appetizer only a couple of minutes before our main course arrived, and the replaced appetizer was only slightly better than the first one they brought out. The main courses consisted for my niece had to be sent back because it tasted sour as if the fish was not fresh. She is not a person that complains much, but the food and the messuage were disappointing, and put a slight damper on her birthday. The last issue was all the construction going on next to where our room was located on the lake view. Because of the construction noise during the day and early morning, it disrupted the piece in that room. I explained this to the front desk and she was very polite and asked if extending our stay for an additional hour would be helpful since we had experienced a few issues with our stay. At this point we had already checked out, so staying an additional hour in the room would not be much of a help, as well as the construction going on. There were good and bad with this stay, as I have explained the problems. However, the lake and the amenities were superb and the courteous staff was fantastic and that helped things from being a failed birthday celebration for my niece.

JJohnny B GoodI didn't know anything about airport hotels in Atlanta. I was looking for a convenient hotel with an airport bus. And the Westin was one of them. The airport bus was good, it departs the hotel on the hour and half hour (ie 8pm and 8:30pm and 9pm, etc). The drive to airport is over 10 minutes. I saw some hotels can be accessed by Sky Train. Actually those hotels are easier to access (which I did not know). The Sky Train is free, it leaves every 10 minutes from the airport station, and it's only 1 short stop to the hotels. So that is quicker and easier. I did not realise that before my stay. The Westin hotel is ok, not the newest but not bad overall. My main problem with it is that it faces a highway and it's quite noisy. I complained that the room they gave me was noisy and I asked to switch to a room that's not noisy. They gave me a room in the other wing of the hotel also facing a highway but a bit less noisy. I did not have the energy to complain again. The shower was ok, not bad. I like the African American woman who was driving the airport bus, she was very polite and friendly and helpful. I was tired after a long flight to Atlanta. So I wanted to go outside and get some fresh air. I asked them about walking around outside, the response was that it is not really safe to walk outside in the area. But if I wanted then I could walk in the parking lot.

GGuest UserI was in Savannah for depositions. If I am being honest, Planters Inn was not my first choice as I usually stay within the Hilton family. But those hotels were all booked. I was a little apprehensive having seen a few bad reviews, but chose Planters Inn because it was the closest to where I needed to be. to be. In hindsight, I am glad the Hilton properties were booked. The hotel has much more character than the other guys. Yes, the property shows its age, but it is well maintained. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I am used to at much higher priced hotels. The staff, however, is what makes the Planters Inn a real gem. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond with a few late-night tasks I needed to complete in preparation for my work the following day. I plan to return to Savannah with my wife in the near future as tourists (I had no real time for sightseeing on his trip), and when I do I will be staying at the Planters Inn.

LLorena CNice hotel apartment, across from Civic Center station with underground parking. Very good service from front desk staff. A lovely space with coloring area in the lobby, restaurant are precursor to the apartment: full kitchen, living room, dining area, two tvs, balcony and bedroom, kind of classic Marriott style. But unlike Marriott there were no extra towels, bathrobes, slippers or toiletries beyond soap and shower cap. The restaurant hours on the key are incorrect. The restaurant closes at 930pm although front desk said only the kitchen closes at 945pm. Anyway the mix up led to none of our interactions with the reticent restaurant's staff for room service. The restaurant takes a daily siesta too, though the key says weekends only. The 12 doesn't let Door Dash come to the apartment, only the lobby. However, 12 Staff will deliver if anyone's available; otherwise you have to go to the lobby. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

배주영The location is very nice (right in front of the Savannah River) Parking is the worst (no free parking even if you stay here.. valet $54, self-parking in the parking lot building is $56 (because it's calculated by the hour) *If you're going to park, I recommend just parking on the side of the road.. hotel parking is too expensive Amenities are good.. it's a shame there's no pool... Room cleaning - seems to be done roughly.. the trash can area is not cleaned (it seems like they only throw away big things..) Amenities are not filled... one day thread & needle, one day hair cap, one day nothing.. hit or miss I don't know because I didn't eat here Ah! Baobab Bar has a good atmosphere and is friendly

GGuest UserLots of potential, very hit or miss on service. Property is pretty solid, nice room, clean. There were multiple restaurants, golf courses, a spa and coffee shop on site. Not to mention the tasting room is very nice for Georgia. A couple of really big misses: 1) Versailles is forgettable - avoid if possible. 2) Cafe opened very late on Sunday - maybe 9am due to staff no-show presumably. Overall, the food at the pub and Versailles were average Sysco at best. Marc was fantastic but how many meals are you going to drop $200 a head on? If going back, I’d hit Marc and the Spa restaurant - that was actually a gem. Didn’t get to play golf but my guess is that the two full courses are nice. The par 3 was nice enough based on what I saw on a short walk. Overall, this place has everything needed to be great - seems to suffer from mediocre management.

GGuest UserThe restaurants and food was amazing! The service was good. The hotel is isolated from safe shopping and entertainment in midtown. If there is no event at the stadium or GWCC, and/or the pool isn't an option, there is little to nothing to do during the stay, i.e., live music or jazz at the bar/lounge, or some form of conservative entertainment passtime. In short, the hotel is too great to be so boring. Unless you hate money enough to blow $250-1000 on a massage, there is literally nothing going on there. Just a disappointing reality for such an elite hotel in a prime downtown local. But if you stay, be absolutely sure to take advantage of the food... it is unbelievably great!

GGuest UserThis is a great little pet friendly hotel right off I20. It’s a great value for the price. Breakfast is cold cereal, hot oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, toast with butter and jelly, coffee, packaged muffins, chocolate covered donuts, powdered donuts, and 3 different juices. The pool looks nice and clean, but we didn’t have time to use it. There were a few cosmetic problems that were minor. Things weren’t “pristine” but they were definitely clean, comfortable, and at a very reasonable price. We plan to stay here every time we travel to western Georgia.

AAnonymous UserWe had a very short rest night for our connecting flight out of Atlanta, about 6 hours only, We booked at this hotel because it is close to Lenox station and the area is considered safe in Atlanta. We can walk from the station to the hotel with luggage at night and back to the station in the early morning. The rooml is clean and with full amenity. We usually rent a car when we visit more days in Atlanta. If the hotel could offer free parking for the hotel guests, we will choose this hotel again.
