"Hotel simpático e limpo. O quarto onde ficamos nota-se que foi remodelado há relativamente pouco tempo. Casa de banho renovada recentemente. Pequeno almoço variado. Funcionários simpáticos.
Recomendo 👍🏻"

The room is clean and tidy.
The fixed shower device is damaged, the shower cannot be fixed, and it is not repaired in time. A small cockroach appeared in the room at night. When I went out after 10 am, the door handle hung up the ”Please clean” card, and I returned to the hotel at 5 pm and still did not clean the room.

Chris (cao yang)Close to the sea, sea view room, very comfortable, breakfast is not good, it is recommended not to have breakfast, there is no kettle, you can order takeout for meals, or go to the surrounding restaurants downstairs

Ana Telo MexiaIt was an amazing overall experience. Not enough time to experience everything, like restaurant Raiva, the Spa, exploring the surrounding trails and explore the river by boat.
The rooms are incredible, as the breakfast. The architecture and the landscape surroundings are breathtaking.
The staff was very friendly and nice.
Regarding the breakfast, I was a little disappointed that in our last day, the croissants had ran out and the few last were a little dry compared with the ones we ate in the previous day.
Also the outdoor swimming pools were amazing, although the hotel doesn't have enough sun loungers when it's full.
Unfortunately we take a boat ride, as the the rates are scandalous overpriced.
In the end we enjoyed a lot the experience and would love to come back.

All perfect, cleaning, facilities and, above all, the staff of the hotel, a 10 for them. For putting a but, the variety of buffet, could be wider. The bed was very comfortable and, the large and clean room. Thanks for everything.

Guest User+Pos:
Friendly and patient staff.
Free temporary luggage storage.
Decent room size.
50/50:
Facilities and room bed in general seems clean, BUT the toilet often has a slight sewage smell. Not sure which part exactly it came from, annoying when you want to take a good bath or a nice sht.
-Cons:
It named ”hotel and spa”, offering a good variety of facilities BUT note that most of them charge separately (not included in room fee).

A grand hotel in the old style. It was undergoing significant renovation while I stayed, so they're clearly making an effort to remain competitive. Staff was courteous and helpful. The dinner in the restaurant was tasty and filling at a good price. All in all an excellent value. My only complaint is the strong musty odor in my room. Fortunately the weather was good so I could open the windows wide, but the hotel really needs to eliminate the source of the smell.
I didn't know before visiting Luso that it's famous for the quality of its water. The photo show the spouts in the center of town where locals come to fill their containers.

ikweettnietmeerBeautiful hotel, not a dime a dozen. Has its own style which is pleasant. Carpeting in the hallways, which dampens sound. In a quiet, green neighborhood, where the best sandwich shop in Portugal is located, which should certainly not be missed (Fanepão 88). Delicious sandwiches and pastries). About a 15 minute walk into town, most conveniently via the larger road that runs behind the hotel. Breakfast not special, but okay. You are mainly ignored by the staff. A nice girl who spoke good English. Super clean. Wonderful bath.

If someone is looking for a non-commercial place, but at the same time warm, friendly and naturally composed, then this is a 100% sure choice: without the advantage of form over substance, excellent cuisine (I recommend buying the HB option, it's worth it!), very friendly staff, no crowds and full harmony with the surrounding nature. The location on the lagoon itself adds an additional touch of nature. Away from the hustle and bustle, without rushing. You may get the impression that time slows down here a bit, or maybe it flows differently?
