I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel over New Year's, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. They were all so friendly, kind, and attentive, always going above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as possible. A special touch was the fortune cookies they gave to everyone who booked – a delightful and thoughtful gesture that added to the charm of the experience.
The room itself was perfect. I stayed in one with a panoramic view, and it truly was a dream come true. The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially during the fireworks display on New Year's Eve—it was the perfect spot to watch the celebration in all its glory. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, making it the ideal retreat after a busy day of sightseeing.
Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to ring in the New Year. The combination of excellent service, cozy accommodations, and a prime location for the fireworks made this hotel a standout. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!
The hotel is quite popular with tourists as it is located very near the Pavilion Save One Night Market. The hotel room is very large with a separate shower and toilet. Shared parking area with Grand Residence Hotel.
Pros: Colorful & modern design, good value, friendly staff, convenient location near malls. Offers pool & fitness center.
Cons: Limited on-site dining, some rooms a bit dated, basic breakfast.
Overall: A decent, budget-friendly option with a vibrant atmosphere and great location for shopping.
The room was not clean. On the floor and under bed are dusty. The toilet has stain and not clean. The receptionist at night shift is not friendly and like he didn’t want to service anyone.
Check-in almost midnight, and check-out around 9AM, just a night for business trip. Not really impressed. Last year I stayed many nights there and the room was better.
It is best not to book a fan room, it is really hot🤣 After entering, I found it too hot, so I went downstairs and paid 100 baht to upgrade to an air-conditioned room, which was much better. There is no need to save that little money and wrong yourself🤣 Then the address and environment are generally good, and the name is also very interesting. The pillow in the room is too high, and I can only sleep well if I take the pillow away. Others are generally good, the bathroom is clean, the water heater for bathing is stable, and it will not suddenly get cold or hot, but you still need to bring your own toiletries, and only shower gel is provided.
Nice design inside in Japanese style. Clean room. Shower is quite small and joined with toilet but the rooms itself is big and has separate area to sit.
The rooms does not have window by the way. Just some artificial lights but it looks good (Japanese design hides it). Overall great for 1-2 nights stop on the car trip in Korat.
Everything is fine except the maid. It's time to check out and open the door. Another room knocks on the door very often. The tone of speaking to customers is not okay. But the room is really clean Some windows cannot be closed, making the sound of the car outside quite clearly, but overall okay.
The room is quite spacious. The road outside is under construction, but the hotel is still very quiet. The air conditioning had some problems on the first night. I told the front desk the next day and they checked and changed the room immediately. It is within walking distance of terminal 21, so it is convenient to eat. It is a bit far to bus terminal 2, so it is best to call a taxi
The hotel is very clean, good location, friendly reception staff, value for money. The room has everything you need to stay, go out during the day and go back to sleep in the evening. Hair dryer and shower cap can be requested at the check-in counter.

Very Good
WWeng Kwan DennisThe location is good and near national parks.
The breakfast is delicious with good environment.
Massage is good.
Only thing is the shower water some time hot and some time cold. Difficult to adjust.
MMrs SiOverall, my experience was good, thanks to the stunning views and the size of the room. We booked an ozone suite with mountain views, and I absolutely loved the scenery! However, due to its distance from local attractions, it’s important to plan for extra travel time. This wasn’t an issue for us, as we had a driver.
That said, there were some areas for improvement. The shower facilities, particularly the water pressure, need attention; otherwise, it would have been a perfect stay. The breakfast options also fell short of a 5-star hotel standard—there was a limited selection. It was only on our last day, Friday, that the breakfast improved.
On a positive note, the buggy service was prompt, and the staff were friendly. However, the pool water was not as clean as expected, and it closes at 7 PM.
In the evenings, there isn’t much to do, as there are no attractions nearby.
PPanidaJSThe room was clean, generously sized, and featured a very comfortable bed. However, the pillows lacked proper support, which unfortunately left me with a sore neck each morning. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Communal areas are well-maintained, with plenty of charming spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the cool breeze, as well as spacious grounds for walking.
We were slightly let down by our room upgrade. Although we had specifically requested a quiet area, we were placed next to a family with very loud, screaming children, which made it hard to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere we were hoping for.
Breakfast, however, was the most disappointing aspect. Based on the glowing reviews, we expected a high standard with good variety, but what we experienced was quite underwhelming—basic, uninspired, and far from memorable. For a hotel of this calibre, the breakfast offering felt like an afterthought and is an area that clearly needs significant improvement.
VVivGThe hotel lives up to its name indeed. The hosts (couple) can communicate in English, very personable and attentive even when they are busy. Breakfast was simple, very delicious and not too expensive. Location is far from main attractions but very close to Pak Chong Night Market and the famous Banmai Chaynam restaurant (walking distance across the road). The room layout and setting are very nice and cosy, the balcony has table and chairs to enjoy the view of the lush green trees and creek. Highly recommend.
[[V]Well if you want to a day and night experience europian sorrounding without leaving thailand, then jt is highly recommended to check in at u khao yai. From the very gates of the resort, walking and hallway area until your very room delivers a breathtaking western style. Halls, walls desk and cabinets decorated uniquely on style. Foods at the morning were combination of thai and wertern style
SSamantha Yan NiHighly recommend this resort in KY to everyone. We stayed in the beautiful 2 bedroom villa with private pool. My family enjoyed our stay. It was a great retreat. Breakfast in the villa itself by the pool (and even in the pool) was so memorable. Could have stayed for a few more days!!!
RRichardBeautiful stay in the tents
The sound from the tree frogs at night is very nice
The tents don’t look the cleanest but you cannot keep it perfect white
AC very good
GGuest UserMuthi Maya's staff has really good service and they went beyond my expectation to provide me with a cake as it was my partner's birthday. I have stayed with their other hotel within the kirimaya group, Atta, and my experience there was a really good and pleasant one, hence chose to stay at another of their sister hotel. However, Muthi maya is very far from most facilities and facilities are only accessible via their shuttle service based on certain timings or by driving. During the stay, one of my kids experienced a medical emergency, a allergy reaction, a first for me, and Kirimaya group's hotel is not the hotel you want to stay at when you are faced with a medical emergency. Firstly, Muthi Maya's reception does not have the basic necessity of a medical kit or medical bag. We even contacted the Kirimaya's hotel reception and Atta's hotel reception and there was no medical bag that we can have access to. Secndly, the nearest hospital is at least 30km away. My kid's breathing pipe was closing and waiting for the ambulance was definitely not a good idea. So if staying here, Driving is the best way to get here. Other than this huge scare, because i stayed during their 'non-peak' period, the hotel breakfast was not the usual buffet and this was a huge disappointment for me as i was looking forward to a good breakfast given i have stayed at Atta before and the breakfast was really good when i stayed there. one night in Muthi Maya cost twice as much as atta as well, Hence the high expectations. Overall, i would say the room was really huge, and pool in the villa was really clean. but sadly because of the situation i had face, i would reconsider booking this group of hotel in the future.
GGuest UserNot bad. The service is very good and the environment is very good. I want to go again next time, but the location is a bit far. The food and environment make people relax. It is good if you bring your family.
JJinky DabonThe property was stunning, a classic French chateau blended with 21st-century luxury. The hotel is impressively expansive, spanning 200 acres. Upon check-in, you'll receive a map of the grounds. After breakfast, we enjoyed exploring the entire area on complimentary bicycles and discovered unique plants I had never encountered before. It was a delightful and enjoyable experience. The grounds were a joy, featuring two magnificent outdoor pools (one at the main chateau and the other in Belle Vue), beautiful trees providing natural shade, a tennis court, an indoor squash court, a gym, and a private park perfect for a leisurely stroll. We stayed in the castle's Mountain Villa, which boasted high ceilings, offering a sense of spaciousness. The shower was adequate, though it had slow drainage. Fresh towels and complimentary toiletries were provided, but there were no slippers or bathrobes. Breakfast was quite basic, though it included meat, eggs, and hot coffee, teas, and cold fruit juices to keep you going. Don’t miss the delicious chocolate drink from the Glasshouse Chez Chateau de cafe and the chicken fried rice at the Demoiselle evening restaurant. Additionally, there are numerous café bistros outside the accommodation to explore, along with nearby 7-11 and mini Big C stores for quick shopping.
The villa's mountainous backdrop is simply breathtaking. While the exterior is impressive, like many places, the interior can show signs of age if not well maintained. Chateau de Khaoyai was a pleasure to deal with, and I would recommend this location to anyone.
