Hotels With Pool in Taiwan, China

For this trip to Taiwan, I stayed at the Grand Hotel Taipei for three nights. After a comprehensive renovation in recent years, it's completely transformed. The bathrooms now feature a bathtub and a separate shower, and the toilets have automatic bidet functions. The bedding is also brand new. The only minor change is that the renovation materials used are a bit darker in color. At night, the entire hotel is brilliantly illuminated and very eye-catching. I want to highlight that the hotel offers a shuttle bus every ten minutes to Yuanshan MRT Station – definitely don't miss out on this perk for guests! Taipei's MRT system is very extensive, making it super convenient to get around.

The cleanliness was acceptable, but the carpet looked a bit old and seemed to only get basic cleaning without proper maintenance. I checked in after 10 PM, so there was only one staff member at the front desk. There was a difficult guest in front of me, who also booked through ***********, complaining that the hotel didn't clearly state that her room had no windows and was trying to demand a room change. However, the hotel was fully booked, so her request couldn't be met. I booked through Trip.com and clearly saw the 'no window' disclaimer, so I found her complaints a bit unreasonable and felt impatient while waiting, as she was holding up the line for everyone else. Although they did prioritize us afterward, I still feel like they could use one more staff member during that time. Overall, at least the cleanliness was decent, providing a comfortable environment to rest. It's just the carpet that could use some maintenance – it's a bit... old, and I don't think it's been professionally cleaned. That's something that needs improvement.

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

Location is 5/5 for the walkability to Banqiao MRT station which connects you to the local MRT as well the regional train lines. The room and bathroom was extremely spacious with a bathtub. Although the shower stall tends to leak out water due to the gap in the glass panels of the door so we had to lay towels on the bathroom floor to prevent falling after the shower. Service rendered was warm and friendly on our arrival, especially notable was Alan at the concierge, whose suggestions on dinner spots were helpful when we first arrived tired and hungry. The roof top swimming pool had a fantastic view and was clean. We swam a little only as the weather was rainy and the pool water very cold. We had a good stay and if coming back to Banqiao, will stay again.

We had a great stay at the Grand Banyan Hotel. The location was convenient, close to the train station and bus stops. Our room was extremely spacious and clean. Our only complaint is the facilities. The pool did not open until 1:30pm which was inconvenient as we wanted to use the pool in the morning before we headed out for the day. The gym treadmills all needed maintenance as the belt would not move smoothly and cause you to feel a slight **** when trying to run on them.

Booked an extra night at Caesar Metro Taipei based on the glowing reviews, and I'm so glad I did. The hotel delivered on every promise – clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a fantastic location near the MRT. The city view from my room was breathtaking. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is truly fantastic! All the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the place is spotless. It's conveniently located for getting around, and the rooms are spacious. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! This was our first trip to Taipei from Australia, and while the hotel is a historic five-star, the bathroom definitely seemed newly renovated. The breakfast was also outstanding, easily the best we've had at any five-star hotel we've stayed in. I also want to give a special shout-out to the housekeeping staff. In my rush to pack, I completely forgot where I'd put my cash and couldn't find it when I got home. After I called, they were incredibly diligent in helping me search my room and called me back promptly. Turns out I had just forgotten it in a corner! I was so anxious at the time, but they were genuinely amazing! I was so touched! This is a trustworthy hotel worth staying at; from check-in to check-out, we felt nothing but joy and peace of mind. And it's not just because of the help we received, but also because every little detail showed such thoughtful care!

Overall, my stay at the hotel was excellent. The environment was clean and tidy, and the room was spacious and comfortable with soft bedding. The facilities were also quite comprehensive. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and check-in was quick. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, making it easy to dine and shop. I would consider staying here again.

The room was spacious enough, making a one-day stay quite comfortable. The complimentary bottled water in the room was a bit sparse; getting more water was a slight inconvenience as I had to request it from the front desk.

Excellent hotel! It's clean, comfortable, and the service is great. The location is ideal, not far from the train station and Chenghuang Temple, both within walking distance. There are also attractions nearby like Shuixian Temple and the Catholic Church. The hotel gym is also very good. I'm very satisfied with this hotel.
