A gem of a hotel, tucked away on the University Campus. Lovely furnishings, excellent food at reasonable prices, beautiful bar and restaurant. We’ll be using this one again.

We - as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), had amazing experience at Leonardo Hotel Hinckley Island. Hotel was lovely and clean, staff were friendly and welcoming with smile, breakfast was great with a variety of food and drinks for each of us and we had also lovely time at pool with free extra towels! We would definitely recommend the hotel and come back again.

Such a beautiful hotel. Staff are extremely welcoming. Everyone is ready to help. The hotel itself is kept very clean. We definitely had a very comfortable good night's sleep. Breakfast was good. We loved the leisure facilities. The jacuzzi was our favourite, the water temperature wS like having a nice very hot bath! It was amazing. It was the best one I've seen ever. Also it was a very good size.. The swimming pool was far too cold for me to go in. I'm a cancer patient and I can't go in cold water. That was my only negative point.bi would have loved to go for a swim. The steam room and sauna were good. I also noticed there was a good gym but I didn't go there. There was A lovely furnished quiet room with plenty of sofas and coffee tables around to relax or work. Also a computer with Internet and a printer for our use which was really good for working guests. I booked this hotel overnight stay for my mum and myself as a little relaxing getaway and it was perfect. The car parking is not a problem at all. We will definitely be booking this in the future fir jy whole family as we really enjoyed it.

I was in a standard double room, I fell asleep and was woken up by someone in the above room moving furniture around, so phoned reception and she said please come down to reception so I did, Mathew the manager promptly found the solution and moved me into a larger bedroom, and even brought two extra pillows, I thanked him and said well done, excellent Matthew.

I had a great time at Leonardo Hotel. Check in was quick and easy. The location is absolutely perfect for those flying from East Midlands Airport, I was able to just walk to the departure terminal in about 5 minutes. Guests of the hotel are welcome to use the pool, sauna and stream room. This is perfect to just get some relaxation in before having a long day of travelling. I would even rate the restaurant highly, the steak frites was delicious.

We just needed an overnight stay while visiting family nearby but the room was spacious and ideal for what we needed. We checked in very late but I had the chance to use the spa facilities the next morning and they were fantastic - a good size pool and excellent steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi. We will definitely come back to the hotel if we need to stay in the area again.

Room was clean enough, but had some black mould in the windows and also in the kettle! Bed was super comfortable. Shower was ok, but wasn't exactly ”powerful”. The room had a strange set of windows that looked into the bedroom...with no way of closing or obscuring then. Heating controls didn't seem to work. The window did not open so it was difficult to get fresh air.

Haven’t stayed here for a while but is always my favourite place to stay when on business trips. Gym is great, staff are brilliant and helpful.

Although I was l literally putting my head down for the night the staff weee friendly and approachable. I would definitely stay there again !
