Hotels With Pool in Kampot Province, Cambodia

Room was large and comfortable but cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. The building had a bad habit of shaking at all hours of the day and night - not always because a train was going past. I’m a deep sleeper so didn’t notice noise the train or trucks from the road but if you are, I’d suggest the sister hotel (the residence). It is a 5 minute tuk tuk or scooter ride from the river and dining around the hotel is limited.

The best address in Kampot and the best hotel we stayed in for four nights during our two-month trip through Asia. Centrally located yet very quiet. Very spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Everything is spotlessly clean. The hotel only opened in December 2025. The beds were better than our beds at home. The manager's friendliness was unparalleled. One downside: there are only four loungers in the lovely swimming pool. However, if one is free, you can lie very comfortably on a cushion.

Positive: Good location and clean room Negative: - No elevator, big luggage or family staying from second floor onward will be challenged. - Thin wall, AC noise and other room bathroom usage will bug you. - Annoying light, bathroom light and room light are the same button. It means if you want to use bathroom at night you will need to turn on light for the whole room. - Unfriendly staff, check in counter and security aren’t friendly. Only cleaning lady’s are friends. Hopefully the hotel management will check room quality esp light and noise

Extremely clean and always having a great smell, the rooms are not getting too hot during the day , so that’s another plus. Cleaning ladies are so friendly and always smiling, really nice atmosphere. Location is good too

We were a little disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Some staff members were excellent, while others were much colder and less friendly. The room was clean. We paid an extra $5 per night for air conditioning… The pool is nice, but the water isn't very clean…

Clean beautifully presented hotel. Staff professional and quietly efficient. Lovely small pool to refresh at the end of the day. Breakfast simple fresh & plentiful. Location 5 mins walk to market/town, 10 mins walk to river. Be aware no lift, 64 steps to top floor. Staff help with luggage. No TV in room but Wi-Fi good for streaming.

This is the second time we are staying there. We love the view and the location is very convenient for us.

I stayed at Montagne Residence over the weekend and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. I especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, which made it a perfect place to relax. Highly recommend Montagne Residence for anyone looking for a quiet and refreshing getaway.

We have been staying here for 5 days and everything has been amazing. The food and desserts are absolutely delicious, the nature around is beautiful, and the place is very clean. The staff are warm, friendly, and always helpful. There are fun activities like billiards and table tennis, which make the stay even more enjoyable. The people here are very kind and welcoming, you really feel at home. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. Excellent value for money! The place is magical, a true oasis. We couldn't shake the feeling that we were the only guests in the hotel. Peace, quiet, and tranquility. We only saw our neighbors at breakfast. The grounds are very beautiful and well-maintained. There were no insects at all! I was very surprised and happy about this! The hotel is clean, although the furniture and fixtures are a bit tired in places. They are well-maintained, so the overall impression of cleanliness is maintained. Everything in the room worked properly. There was zero soundproofing, but that's normal for a building of this size. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The breakfasts were good, offering a selection of both Asian and European cuisine—fruit, pastries, and egg dishes prepared to your liking. Breakfast was à la carte on weekdays, and a buffet on weekends. The restaurant also delighted us with delicious European dishes. The city center is a 5-7-minute tuk-tuk ride. If you book one through the Grab app, the ride costs about $2. We rented a moped from the hotel, which cost $8.50 per day. Kayaks are free for independent river trips, and they're available at all times. My only personal suggestions would be: 1. Increase the hot water temperature in the shower. Right now, it's only 40 degrees Celsius. I'm cold. 2. Add mattress pads for a softer, more comfortable sleep. The mattresses are quite hard right now.
