Good things; Overall it is a nice resort, nice breakfast. I love the environment, big room, big bathroom, cozy. I just come during the maintenance, so there was no gym.
Opinion; Not suitable for solo traveller unless you are very brave. Something I heard during a night consistently but there is no people on the rooms after my room 😂. I just ignore.
Some for improvement;
1) Shower is clogging, need to replace.
2) No lock at the behind door, it is related to safety. I put some indicator and when I return back the item is moved. But not sure human or non-human caused 😂. Also I never saw any security persons do rounding.
Overall it is a nice resort.
i book the sunrise horizon room. As i already plan the layout for birthday deco. When i arrived ,the reception told me my room was not in system. Then she told me, sunrise horizon is fully booked for the day n give me an upgrade to a junior room with the baby cot. I said i dun need the baby cot because it will ruins the deco n birthday video. She said cannot move out the thing. Zzz. Thus, the door was not working properly as well. Keep on has the “beeping” noice. When the maintenance came to fix it, the next day it happens that the door cant even be open by card. Is really just no annoying .
Hotel walking distance to eateries.. ktcc mall and mayang mall.. also walking distance to batu burok beach.Smooth check in. Clean room even the hotel and carpet a bit outdated..comfy bed and pillow.. high water pressure with fully function hot water. Breakfast just ok. Very recommend.
I always stay here whenever i come to Kuala Terengganu.. Comfortable and very satisfied with the environment.. Location wise. City centered. Easy to get food and the malls just walking distance.. Beautiful view..the sea and the drawbridge. Satisfied. Ive a pleasant stayed..
The hotel is very close to Kuala Terengganu Airport, about a fifteen-minute walk. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful. Definitely recommended!
This is my second time here. I got room B03 this time, and the blanket was much thinner compared to room B02. The air conditioning took a long time to cool down. The TV was great though. At 12 PM, staff will knock on your door multiple times if you haven't checked out yet. Parking is free in front of the building. The pool water was fine, and there's a rinsing area. They have a Cuckoo water dispenser. It's walking distance to the beach. The price is cheap.

Paya Bunga Hotel is located smackingly next to centre of everything..The bus station,Pasar Kedai Payang and also UTC,making it super convenient for travellers and holiday-makers.Kudos to the hotel’s staff who are so utterly Sopan and Friendly. Thanks a lot for upgrading my room to a bigger one. This hotel is a good choice for those looking for a good variety of breakfast too..and prefer local food.
The place is very nice, room is spacious and clean with a nice beachview. The breakfast was delicious and had abundant of various foods. The facilities were great, we specifically enjoyed the very large pool which was well maintained. The staffs were also very friendly and accommodating.Just to note, the hot water for jacuzzi was not working but the staf had informed it to us.
Although my husband and I had a difficult experience during our stay at this hotel, where I suddenly experienced bleeding and a miscarriage on the first night, the hotel staff were very attentive and cooperative when the ambulance came to pick me up. The hotel manager also showed great concern by checking in on my condition. The next day, the hotel manager, on behalf of the hotel, sent a fruit basket with a 'get well soon' message. My husband and I were very touched by the hotel's thoughtfulness. Thank you, Primula Beach Hotel 🤍
Very nice place for a family gathering..the location is very strategic near the heart of the city..lots of restaurants and food stalls nearby which makes it vry convenient..the room is spacey and clean..the staffs are helpful

TToshy0719Paradise found! Amazing snorkeling and wonderful staff.
We had a fantastic stay at the Perhentian Marriott. The ocean is incredibly clear and beautiful. We were so excited to see sharks and many colorful fish just by snorkeling right off the beach!
The food was delicious with a great variety of options. Above all, the staff made our stay special—everyone was always smiling and incredibly friendly. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. I would definitely come back again!

GGuest UserEverything was great, the hotel is nice, the management is helpful with any questions. The hotel location is great. Everything is very close. The only downside is the breakfast, it's very poor. In theory, they had everything, but we had to wait for the fruit to be updated. The menu needs to be slightly expanded. The hotel grounds also need some landscaping.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is excellent. It offers great value for money and has direct beach access. While the room itself was a bit dated, having the beach right there made me totally overlook it! 😂 The pool was clean, and breakfast was just okay. It's truly perfect for a relaxing escape to clear your mind. 👍👍 Overall, I highly recommend it.

AAnonymous UserSecond time here hehe, and it still feels just as special. Perfect escape from the busy city life. Everything about it is so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The atmosphere really helps you slow down and just enjoy the moment.
Nights can get quite dark around the resort, but honestly it adds to the whole serene vibe and wasn’t an issue for me at all. Overall, a lovely place to unwind and recharge. Would definitely come back again.
GGuest UserI took my family here during the April spring break in Chengdu. The private beach is truly beautiful, a typical 'jellyfish sea' with crystal clear water. Just a few hundred meters from the shore, you'll find a turtle spot – you can even paddle there yourself. There were so many turtles! When someone was feeding them, we saw nearly ten at once. The hotel also offers a lot of entertainment, most of which is free, including tennis and pickleball.
There are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, in the restaurant, and even for the turtle explanations, so communication in Chinese was not an issue. The head chef and the turtle researcher are both of Chinese descent; we often chatted with them, and sometimes they even helped us with translations.
The hotel service is incredibly thoughtful, let me tell you about two things. First, while my wife was swimming in Turtle Bay, the lanyard of her waterproof phone pouch broke. The water was probably almost 10 meters deep. She only realized it after returning to shore, and her mood just plummeted. When the staff at the dive center found out, they immediately contacted a diver to search for it. Luckily, they found it, and the phone was perfectly fine and usable inside the pouch – she was absolutely thrilled.
The other thing is, our return journey was very early, we had to leave at 6 AM. The front desk thoughtfully and proactively packed us a generous breakfast to take with us for the road.
Aalanleong88can't find any reasonable pricing hotel in Terengganu due to they lack of nice hotel that is within the budget. The beach is nice to enjoy but the room are not that great due to it's age... everything still stays in 60s style that never changes. The room's door are still using keys to lock and the room itself are quite dark to enjoy a good night sleep...Morning Buffet aren't great and lack of choices...
