Hotels With Pool in Dili, Timor-Leste

I already reviewed this property in detail some time ago. Just to summarize, it is a user friendly, full-service hotel hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Guest rooms are quite large. All usual amenities are in place - the 25 square meters guestroom has everything that I needed, apart from a comfortable bed - a work desk, work chair, desk lamp, additional chairs, breakfast, wifi, a 1.5-liter water bottle daily, electric kettle, Chinese tea sachets, mini refrigerator, hot water for shower, free laundry service, plenty of natural light, and two wall sockets (combined US A-Type and Euro C-Type, and Australia Type I) on every wall. However, it is noted that all rooms are not the same. My first room was excellent, but the second room (this time) was not as good regarding room lighting, although the natural light access was excellent.

The hotel is very well located, nice and new, beautiful pool, quiet, good service but a bit lacking. The only major downside is the breakfast – very poor breakfast, and generally poor food at the hotel. They need to improve significantly in this area.

The front desk staff is proficient in English and kind. The hotel is located about 4 kilometers from the airport, about 500 meters from the main road. There are large supermarkets and Chinese restaurants 500 meters around.

While there’s no major negative thing about this place, there is also no major positive. It stands out like a much better looking “Hollywood style motel”. The breakfast is adequate. The location is more or less ok. The fact that Dili needs people to have or arrange transportation continually does no favour for the hotel, but has nothing really to do with the hotel itself, of course. It is just that fact that there is nowhere really walking distance from it.

We flew to East Timor to 'tick off' another new country, and chose this hotel for a one-night stay, within walking distance of the city center! The hotel exceeded all expectations – the people at the front desk were incredible, smiling, kind, and ready to assist with any request. The hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained, clean, and cozy. The location is excellent, right by the sea, where you can catch an amazing sunset and a magical sunrise! The breakfast was small but very tasty! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There's a pool in the courtyard, but we didn't have time to use it. I definitely recommend it! Special thanks for the airport transfer both ways! The charming gentleman who picked us up and dropped us off was incredibly efficient! We left with the warmest and brightest memories of this trip!

First of all, there is nothing fun in East Timor. It is relatively scarce in terms of tourism resources, transportation is not convenient, and prices are relatively high. Then as for the hotel, it is just so-so, a bit like the guesthouses in China. The facilities are relatively old and the business is relatively small. There are no slippers in the room, and you don’t have to bring your own toothbrush or other toiletries. There is no free mineral water, only bottled water service, which can only be said to be make do. The free breakfast is relatively small. It may be because it is closer to the airport and the transportation is more convenient. The infrastructure of the whole East Timor is really poor.

The apartment hotel is already the best hotel in East Timor. It can be regarded as a 3-point 5-star hotel in the country. It has complete facilities and good hygiene. The environment is already the best in Dili. After all, it is in the largest shopping mall. Why is the service 4 stars. In fact, the service can be fully five stars, but the episode during payment made me have some opinions, see the picture! Most hotels on Ctrip are cheaper than other platforms. This one is dozens of yuan more expensive than ***********, but the Ctrip service I considered is great and the customer service response is timely. So I booked from Ctrip. Even if it costs dozens of yuan more, when paying, the front desk has to ask I paid 241.58 US dollars, I showed the order, and the front desk went to the manager to change the amount by hand, and after paying 200 cash, there was no change! It doesn’t matter, it doesn’t cost much, but the experience will be a bit different!
