Timor Plaza Hotel & Apartments

The rooms are very basic, and the price is extremely high. It seems the high prices are mainly supported by the commercial district and Chinese visitors. Very poor value for money.

This hotel is super convenient, located right in the city center within the Timor Square commercial hub. It's perfect for shopping, dining, and business meetings. The staff are all really warm and attentive. My only complaint is that the price isn't very budget-friendly.

Reportedly one of the best hotels in East Timor. The front desk staff was super friendly and helped arrange a car for a 3-4 hour tour. The restaurant food was good, and they also offered some East Timorese specialty dishes. The hotel is located right in the CBD, so if you have time, you can definitely explore the nearby shops and get a feel for the area. For coffee, I highly recommend a local roasting cafe located to the left of the hotel exit; I bought a lot of coffee beans from there to take back to Shanghai.

The apartment hotel is already the best hotel in East Timor. It can be regarded as a 3-point 5-star hotel in the country. It has complete facilities and good hygiene. The environment is already the best in Dili. After all, it is in the largest shopping mall. Why is the service 4 stars. In fact, the service can be fully five stars, but the episode during payment made me have some opinions, see the picture! Most hotels on Ctrip are cheaper than other platforms. This one is dozens of yuan more expensive than ***********, but the Ctrip service I considered is great and the customer service response is timely. So I booked from Ctrip. Even if it costs dozens of yuan more, when paying, the front desk has to ask I paid 241.58 US dollars, I showed the order, and the front desk went to the manager to change the amount by hand, and after paying 200 cash, there was no change! It doesn’t matter, it doesn’t cost much, but the experience will be a bit different!
