Disadvantages: The hotel is under renovation recently, and the living environment is average. We encountered some problems, and Ctrip solved them quickly.
Pros: The service is very good. Julio in the restaurant is a great boy. Our butler Hendrik is very responsible and communicates smoothly. The girls and boys in the kids club are very responsible. Let us have a lot of free time.
Coffee shop service is excellent!
Only 1 lift is working and I stay on 17 floor!
Rooftop bar and dining is close, aircon is running half speed throughout the hotel..
New Hotel, nice view and decor.
Check out their new restaurant at level 8, the kliff. I think the Kliff signature pizza is not bad. The restaurant at level 2 serve nice local food
Staff are very friendly and responsive.
They help to prepare breakfast box as we inform them we are going for early tour.
They have many free water activities like paddle boat, water bicycle, kayak. There is also yoga and boxing class u can book during ya stay here.
A 5min walk to Ayana if you want to check out Ayana. But I think Katamaran is much more nicer in term of the facade. Their staff is much more helpful and cheerful as well.
If you want to go to the city, either get the hotel staff to arrange a taxi about 100k IDR or simply do a gojek bike at 15.5k IDR.
Heard they have a new boat - black swan going to be operational from next month onward. Perhap they will have their own island trip, you all could lookout for that
A very enjoyable stay here. Cya again Katamaran!!
This resort is in such a beautiful setting. A perfect relaxing getaway where the team could not be more helpful. Not only did they make all arrangements for all or our day trips, but a member of the team even raced after us to the airport with some items we didn't even realise we left behind.
Fabulous.
Enjoyed my hotel stay in Zasgo, conveniently being picked up from airport with a rate of 75k IDR. Although I reached early, Elsa managed to get me checked in by 1030am when there is an availability of room. Appreciate that she offered for a foot massage when I had a sprained ankle on my last day in Labuan Bajo just so that it will ease my journey back home instead of limping. Staffs are all very friendly and always has a smile on their face. Just take note that their room cleaning service is 2x per day. Room is pretty clean, just some noises from the water pipes but still managed to get a good sleep after a tiring trip back from the islands. Would definitely come back again, appreciate their hospitality a lot!
Manage to catch the amazing view during breakfast at the hotel. There is a convenience Zasgo mart available to get drinks and snacks.
The hotel is comfortable, clean, friendly service, good breakfast, but there are still problems with rooms such as a blocked sink, the toilet is on the 3rd floor new but it is disgusting yellow like never brushed. This hotel needs vixal/porstek/harpic and something Because it's a pity that the interior of the hotel is good but not taken care of
***The resort is temporarily closed from March 27th until May 31st***

First time staying at this hotel, my impression was ordinary, just a view of the lobby, a cafe facing the beach.
The housekeeping cart was pushed, the noise was very disturbing. Just imagine, every time a guest passes by, the housekeeping stops so as not to make noise
The room was average, not as big as advertised, and a little remote, requiring a small path to get in. The environment was OK, and the hotel staff had a sense of service, but there were a few complaints, the pool water was sour, the room card often couldn't open the door, there was no sign prohibiting durian in the room, but I was told that I would be fined 750,000 for bringing durian, and finally I negotiated to 300,000 because I was not informed in advance and there was no sign.
Lelewatu is an example of understated luxury in Sumba Island, which is much off the beaten track compared to other parts of Indonesia. The staff is very attentive but low key at the same time. The restaurant is great, especially on local choices. The villas are spacious with really high ceilings, a great pool and plenty of privacy. Will miss sleeping at the sound of the waves.

Great
GGuest UserI love the style of this resort, very beautiful and nicely done. The garden looks great and well maintained.
Food is delicious, we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner.
The private beach is ok, not particularly suitable for water activities. But the pool is nice.
Staff are friendly.
Overall great experience. I would choose this one again if I come back.
CCarolMehurorah is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff are absolutely lovely. However we stayed in horizon sea view room for two nights and for two days our fridge did not get our drinks cold. All I wanted was to sit on balcony and have a cold beer! Numerous requests to fix fridge, yes came 3 times and still not working, so next day new fridge was installed, waited for 4 hours still not working. Requested ice bucket to put beer in and a small stainless steel bucket with lid delivered, one bottle at a time to get cold. I didn’t want to pay 900k Indo to have a beer ! Just wanted to relax, sit on balcony! never happened. Aircon kept cutting out, wifi cutting out, tv cutting out. We have stayed here before and no problem with anything. There is a lack of communication and also follow up service at this 5 star hotel. Management should be onto such issues straight away, eg change room straight away or offer large bucket of ice to keep beers cold, I should not have had to chase up these issues for two days! This hotel is 4 years old and it’s starting to show. Our friends stayed here as well they had exactly same issues as us and they spoke to management but nothing was done to resolve this problem for them either. Only after insistence from myself did they try to offer a solution eg change rooms, which we did on second day, fridge better yes but a noisier room with extremely bad smell in bathroom, which was explained to management and they did come and spray smelly stuff to rectify. Same smell in morning. We are very seasoned travellers and extremely happy to pay top dollar for a hotel BUT we want amenities to be working and not have to chase up staff all day to fix what should have been working. Extremely disappointed and has wrecked my two days experience in Labuan Bajo. I believe as Labuan bajo is a transit point to Komodo islands people only stay a couple of nights so these issues get overlooked. Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel!

AAMEERULEverything is good but
1. The room is too small. Suite only for a couple & can't extra bed because of the space.
2. One of the room (no. 3), the sliding door can't close properly. The hook almost pull out from frame.
3. Not suitable for elderly except the rooms at level ground that can enter from backlane.
OoYoYoReally enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend to friend or visit again if I ever visit KOMODO again. The staffs are cheerful, the rooms are nice, the food is not bad. We were luck to stay during the New Year Eve and there are a special celebration dinner with live band and firework, which is really a memorable experience. The beach is ok, you can go further and heard there is a chance to see turtles, however recently it is jelly fish season so we didnt snokel for long, but overally very happy about the stay.
GGuest UserVery cute hotel far away from the hussel and bussel of everything.
While the distance might inconvenience some, that was exactly what we were looking for.
As mentioned in the other comments, the hotel isn’t the easiest to get to as you have to go down a little goat path if you come in from the top of the mountain.
Definitely recommend getting the shuttle offered by the hotel to pick you up from the airport as our taxi driver had a hard time finding it haha.
Super friendly staff, ready to help no matter the issue, even carried our (and in my case very heavy) suitcases down the path.
Food is average but prepared with care. Electricity and (hot) water is limited and internet is only available in the main area from 6-9pm but they extended that time for us as we were the only people there at that time.
Cute little beach in front of the hotel though there is a lot of trash (not the hotel’s fault- visible across all the islands)
Just 1 tip: BRING MOSQUITO SPRAY! 🤭
LLarry OiltOur hotel of choice in Kupang: from the receptionists to the housekeeping and the restaurant staff, the level of service is outstanding. The rooms are always perfectly clean and everything is in working order. Great value for money
