In our opinion, this hotel feels a bit like a Turkish resort. Since we came here after staying at Tinadhoo, the differences were quite noticeable. The restaurant doesn't have a great view, but the variety of food is decent, and there's a kids' corner. Buggies transport guests around the island, which is very convenient and fun for children. What we didn't like is that because of this, there are a lot of concrete paths, so you can't walk barefoot. The service was a bit disappointing; it felt very mass-produced. They didn't respond about our transfer or contact us themselves, so we had to find their counter at the airport on our own and call the hotel. This was probably because we weren't arriving by plane. We also didn't receive a welcome bag, and the bed for the third person was only made up after we called reception. These are minor things, but you tend to notice them more at a resort. Overall, we liked our villa; it wasn't new, but everything was well-maintained. In front of our villa was a lagoon, and beyond that a breakwater, so there wasn't really an ocean view. However, thanks to the breakwater, the lagoon was very calm. There's a reef, but it's quite monotonous; the corals are brown and all look the same, and you can only swim over them at high tide. There are large fish and stingrays, so there's enough to see for a couple of days. Overall, it's not bad, but we definitely wouldn't return. It would probably be a good choice for families with children, though, due to its proximity to the airport and kid-friendly amenities.

The hotel was incredibly easy to find, practically right in front of me as soon as I arrived in Maafushi. It was so close to the airport that I didn't have to wander around at all after my transfer, which was a huge relief with all my luggage. Its accessibility also made it super convenient for tours and getting around during my stay. There were tons of cafes and restaurants nearby, perfect for grabbing a bite or just relaxing. The location was ideal for soaking in the Maafushi vibe. A big plus was the really fast Wi-Fi; I had no issues using the internet, and uploading photos or streaming videos during my trip was completely stress-free, which I really appreciated. The pool was well-maintained and pleasant to use, and the panoramic views of Maafushi from there were absolutely stunning. My only minor gripe was that I didn't find the staff to be exceptionally friendly, which was a bit of a letdown. However, overall, the convenience and location of this accommodation made it a thoroughly satisfying stay.

Perfect location - just 15/20 minutes by speedboat from Malé Airport, with a convenient round-trip transfer option (USD 110), ideal if you prefer to avoid long travel times. The food was delicious, with buffet options available at one of the restaurants if you’re on a meal plan. Otherwise, there are several other restaurants on the island to explore. The island has a wide range of villas, and you can swim freely around different areas. Standard rooms are a bit small but all are beach-facing right from the door, which is a big plus. Deluxe rooms are more spacious, though not all offer a direct beach view you may need to step outside to enjoy it. Marine life is a highlight - different parts of the island offer unique underwater experiences, including colorful fish, small sharks, and beautiful coral reefs. The staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were cleaned twice daily, and the entire island was well-maintained and spotless throughout our stay. One minor downside is that seaplanes frequently pass overhead since the island is close to the airport, which may be noticeable at times. Overall, a fantastic stay with great service, vibrant marine life, and a lively atmosphere.

Facilities: Excellent. Cleanliness: Pristine. Environment: Very beautiful. Staying a few days is more than enough. Service: Good. There are hardly any Chinese people, which makes it very quiet and ideal for a vacation. No kids either. The island is small, but a few days here is definitely enough. A great place for a getaway! Perfect for sunbathing, dining, and working out!

It was a very last minute decision to travel to Maldives. 10 hours before I book then flew over already. This resort is a resort that I see cheapest that includes food and drinks but take note water sport and diving and certain food is not included. Service is great, staff is very warm. Food is ok but not the greatest. One important thing for Maldives is many resort when transfer from airport to the resort needs to add on charge but for this resort is inclusive. If you are kinda on a budget trip to Maldives this resort can be the consideration. Aside from these resort establish since 2022 condition still ok compared to same level of resort.

Wonderful hotel. Spacious room, nothing extra. Special thanks for the quality of the pillows, you fall asleep literally as soon as you put your head on it. Soft comfortable bed. Breakfast is prepared practically in front of you. Very tasty. I especially liked the tuna with coconut flakes. The hotel territory is small, but it looks atmospheric. The staff is friendly, helpful. At night I wanted to drink tea with sweets, despite the late time of day, they accompanied me and showed me the store 😅🤌. You need to understand that this is not a luxury hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and atmosphere.

We had an unforgettable stay at Grand Park Kodhipparu, and everything about our experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the personalized service stood out! The team was incredibly responsive and quick to reply to our messages throughout our stay. The welcome and in-villa check-in were detailed and thoughtful, with a staff patiently answering all our questions and making us feel completely at ease. We stayed in the Reef Water Villa and absolutely loved it. Snorkeling every day was a highlight, as the marine life was rich and vibrant. We were lucky enough to see sea turtles from our balcony two mornings in a row. The shark tour was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and something we will never forget. The biggest highlight for us was the candlelight dinner under the stars. The meal was delicately prepared, and having a personal host and chef on a private beach for the evening made it incredibly special and romantic. Everything felt perfectly arranged just for us. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for exceptional service, breathtaking surroundings, and unforgettable experiences. We can’t wait to return!

This was my first trip to the Maldives, and I'm so glad I chose Embudu Village. The island is conveniently located for Male: the speedboat transfer was quick and comfortable (you need to contact the hotel two days in advance of your arrival to arrange the transfer. Payment is $90 upon arrival on the island). I had a connecting flight in Dubai, and my flight from Dubai was delayed almost two hours, so I arrived in the Maldives later than expected. They still waited for me and sent me straight to the island without any problems. I liked the bungalow room: clean, spacious, with working air conditioning, a safe, a refrigerator, a kettle, and two glass bottles of water (refilled daily during housekeeping. They forgot my bottle once, so I went to reception and told them, and they refilled it right away – no problem). I stayed on half board – breakfast and dinner. Important: you'll be assigned a specific table, and you'll eat at it throughout your stay. The food was delicious—beef, chicken, lamb, various fish, even pork (!)—they had it all. The dessert table was huge and incredibly delicious. Tea and coffee are complimentary at breakfast, but drinks are extra at dinner (a 1.5L bottle of water is $3, a glass of wine is $7, and a bottle of wine is about $50). Payment for all additional services (including purchases at the on-site shops) is due the evening before departure at the cashier's desk next to reception. The biggest advantage of this resort, in my opinion, is the HOUSE REEF!!!! I'm an inexperienced person, and it was my first time snorkeling here—and it was absolutely wonderful. There are so many different fish, but the highlight is the abundance of blacktip reef sharks. I saw whitetip reef sharks twice. You can also spot turtles. I once watched an octopus hunting, and I was lucky enough to see an eagle ray fly by ❤️❤️ The reef is incredible, with so many different creatures. If you go, I highly recommend snorkeling as much as possible! And don't be afraid to swim at least a little away from the pier. The reef entry points are marked with red flags; it's best to study the reef map before diving. On the first day of my stay, I arranged a reef walk with the dive center, and I didn't regret it; it was a pleasant and safe experience. A few days later, I signed up for a snorkel with nurse sharks and lancehead rays at the dive center. At the appointed time, we all gathered and swam to their feeding area. We spent an hour and a half swimming with nurse sharks and rays. Blacktip reef sharks occasionally came by, and there were also some predatory fish, I don't know their names. I really enjoyed watching them all; they were wonderful creatures and created wonderful memories. I paid $30 for a shared reef walk, and $60 for swimming with the sharks and rays. Payment is made at the dive center. The island itself is also beautiful, with plenty of sand and trees. The land life includes grey herons, reef herons, a flock of Indian flying foxes, white-breasted crakes, koels, parrots, and scaly-sided hawks. There are lounge chairs and hammocks scattered throughout the area. The island's size and the trees make it possible to relax on the shore in the shade and enjoy the ocean views. Twice a week (I think Wednesday and Friday) there's live music after dinner. There's also a gym (or, let's call it a mini-library) on site, and the WiFi is very good – I could watch TV shows and play games. Checkout was also comfortable. I checked out of the bungalow at the appointed time, my suitcase was picked up and taken straight to the speedboat, and I went to breakfast (it was served, even though I had to check out very early in the morning). My luggage was delivered to the airport on time. I'm very happy with my stay at this resort; if I ever go to the Maldives again, I'll choose Embudu Village. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation ❤️❤️

GGuest UserBest stay ever in Maldives! My fourth trip to Maldives, but this stay is the best. Beautiful water villa with pool and very clean and comfortable. Joey was at the reception when I checked in and she was very patient to explain on use of app and things to note. The experience at Hardrock Cafe was fantastic, great food and music. There are 3 islands connected and you can see sunrise and sunset near the Pavilion. The staff at Pavilion (Mr Sunil Giri )was so kind to help me take some pictures with the sunset. There are many shops like canvas painting, pottery making etc to participate in. The staff at merchandise shop (Mr Aalif) beside Hard Rock Cafe has a sense of humour and made one shopping experience a great one! Kudos to all the staff and recommend everyone be it solo or families to choose the hotel, you will never regret! Lastly thanks to the hotel for giving me a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake to make the stay a memorable one!

AAngela1314maxiuLet's start with the positives: The food on Ganfan Island was truly excellent and perfectly suited our family's taste. The Thai and Bo restaurants were both delicious, and Midi was also delicious. It's right by the pool, and there's a super nice ********* lady who I consider my favorite waitress on the entire island. The black guy who greeted us upon arrival was the worst in my opinion. He chewed gum, was inattentive, and never smiled. Fortunately, he realized he had trouble communicating with me (his English was limited), so he replaced us with a Malaysian guy, who immediately put me back on vacation. The rest of the staff on the island were all very good. Secondly, the value was excellent. A four-night all-inclusive water bungalow for 22,000 yuan was fantastic (5,000 yuan a night is cheaper than some hotels in Sanya), and there's a 20-dollar daily credit per person that can be used off-island. With kids in tow, and wanting a smooth island landing in the afternoon, this was a no-brainer. It was a no-brainer. We were literally in our room in just seven minutes. Cons: It's close to Male, offering a panoramic view of the entire city. One side almost faces it, and at night, it's dotted with lights. The snorkeling is average, with almost no fish beneath the overwater bungalows. After just one snorkel, I felt too lazy to get in the water or change clothes. The pool was fine. Overall, it's suitable for beginners (I've visited various islands at least 20 times), so it wasn't particularly impressive. It's a great place for families with children to relax and take their kids out. The island is neither too big nor too small.

JJeffGCIf you are looking for a Maldivian getaway that balances island relaxation with a bit of ”city” energy and variety, SAii Lagoon is a fantastic choice. Unlike the more isolated private islands, this resort is part of the CROSSROADS Maldives project, which means you aren't just limited to one resort’s dining and activities.  🚤 Location & Arrival One of the biggest perks is the 15-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. After a long flight, being at the resort and checked in within 30 minutes is a luxury in itself. No waiting hours for a seaplane!  🛌 The Room Experience The design here is very ”Boho-Chic”—bright, colorful, and modern. • Sky Rooms: Great value with a beautiful balcony view of the lagoon. • Beach Villas: The direct beach access is worth the upgrade. The ”creature comfort” pillows and the ability to customize your own bathroom amenities at the Aroma Bar were unique touches that made the stay feel personalized.  🍴 Dining & Activities This is where SAii really stands out. Because it’s connected by a footbridge to The Marina @ CROSSROADS and the Hard Rock Hotel:  • Variety: You have access to over 10+ dining options. We loved Miss Olive Oyl for Mediterranean flavors, but having the option to walk over to the Hard Rock Café or the Ministry of Crab at the Marina kept things exciting.  • The Hub: The Marina has a discovery center, shops, and a beach club (Café del Mar style). • Snorkeling: The house reef is decent, and we spotted plenty of colorful fish and even a few small reef sharks near the overwater walkways. 💡 Pro-Tips for Travelers: 1. Download the App: Use the SAii App to request buggies or book dinner tables—it’s much faster than calling the front desk.  2. Explore the Marina: Don't just stay on the SAii island. The sunset views from the Marina pier are some of the best on the island. 3. Hilton Honors: If you have status, the perks here (like breakfast or room upgrades) are well-recognized as it’s part of the Curio Collection.  Summary: Perfect for couples or families who want a vibrant, social atmosphere rather than total isolation. The proximity to Malé makes it the ultimate stress-free Maldivian escape! Would I return? Absolutely, especially for a shorter trip where I want to maximize my time on the sand rather than in transit.

RRaquel MonrealOne of the best decisions I made during my trip to the Maldives was staying at Oblu Select Sangeli. I had an incredible and unforgettable experience there. I booked the water villa with private pool and it was stunning, offering the perfect balance between luxury and privacy. The private pool was the ideal spot to enjoy the sunsets and turquoise waters. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. If you are looking for a luxurious experience in the Maldives, I highly recommend the Water villa with private pool at Oblu Select Sangeli. HHamizahOI recently stayed at Sheraton Full Moon Maldives in one of their Overwater Villas, and it was a truly memorable experience. The villa was beautifully designed, clean, and well-maintained — offering direct access to the crystal-clear waters and stunning panoramic views of the ocean. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect escape for relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff throughout the resort were generally excellent — friendly, helpful, and attentive. They handled all requests promptly and with professionalism. A special mention goes to the hotel management team, especially Mr. Megan and a few others, who went above and beyond to resolve a minor incident during our stay. Their approach was calm, respectful, and solution-focused, which left a very positive impression. Most of the team displayed great hospitality, especially at reception, housekeeping, and concierge. However, the only slight downside was at ”The Feast” dining area, where a few staff members appeared less engaging and rarely smiled — a contrast to the otherwise warm and welcoming service standard across the resort.

GGuest UserThe water house we stayed in had a swimming pool. The room was big and there was a beautiful sea view on the balcony. From the moment we left the airport, the guy who picked us up, the guy on the speedboat, and the guy who sent us off really provided excellent service. When we arrived at the hotel pier, the management staff led the service staff to warmly welcome us on the island. When we left, they waved goodbye at the pier until they disappeared into the vast ocean... My English is not good, but I met Bonan, a girl from Baoji, China, on the island. She enthusiastically and proactively provided us with high-quality service, introduced us to information about the island, took our orders, booked boats, and delivered things to our room over and over again on hot days. When the room cleaner didn't clean for us, change towels, take out the trash, or deliver mineral water, she personally went to the room to serve us... I don't know why the room cleaner didn't serve us. I turned over the sign for room cleaning twice, but found it was turned back when I returned to the room. The room was still not cleaned. I don't know if I didn't tip the night I came. I didn't have change that day, so I went to the front desk to change change after dinner. However, there was no room service from the second to the third night. It was not until I told Bonan that the bathroom trash can was full and the mineral water was finished that Bonan came to the bathroom to watch over it, and then they started cleaning. I chose this hotel because they have a high score of 4.9. To be honest, all the services and details of the hotel are very good, but the behavior of the room boy really makes me feel that he is holding the hotel back and letting the chain down. I hope the hotel will strengthen its management so that all tourists who come to the beautiful Baros Island can return happily...
