Our stay was excellent, definitely a paradise for families with kids. Upon check-in, Joey gave us a tour of the hotel facilities and even spoke Cantonese, which was a thoughtful touch. The overall service at the hotel was fantastic. We chose a family room for two nights, then moved to an overwater villa for another two. The beach villa had ample space, with a separate area upstairs featuring a double bunk bed and a play area. It also had a private pool with direct access to the beach, which was very convenient. The hotel butler service was top-notch; whenever our kids tracked sand inside, someone would promptly come to clean it. The transition to the overwater villa was seamless. They arranged the change of rooms efficiently, so as soon as our luggage was packed, someone was there to assist, which was very considerate and saved us time. We opted for the all-inclusive meal plan, and all the restaurants were delicious, with many options to choose from. I highly recommend getting the meal package, otherwise, à la carte prices can be quite steep. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and ordering drinks as much as we liked; it’s an even better deal if you drink alcohol, as it's unlimited. The entire hotel ambiance was wonderful, and we had a very enjoyable experience throughout our stay. Kids under 11 get free children's meals. Tip: When booking on Trip.com, choose the package with airport transfer for the first two days. You don't need to select it for the latter two days; they will help arrange it for your departure day.

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

Without question, this is the best-value Maldivian resort we have ever visited. We've stayed at several resorts in the Maldives, and none have managed to combine luxury, efficiency, quality and value quite like this. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well organized. Check-in was seamless, and throughout our stay the team consistently thought two steps ahead, ensuring that arrivals, bookings, activities and departure arrangements were all perfectly coordinated. We never once felt stressed or had to waste time waiting for anything. The Dusit Gold app was exceptionally responsive and useful, making the entire experience smooth and effortless. Our villa was spotless, and housekeeping was outstanding. Turnover and turndown service were always completed perfectly and punctually. Every detail in the room worked flawlessly — from the coffee machine and hot water to the bathtub, water pressure and lighting. Nothing was faulty, which is surprisingly rare even at luxury resorts. The food was genuinely some of the best we have experienced in the Maldives, with authentic flavours and a huge selection of food and drinks included in the all-inclusive package. What impressed us most was that the resort never cut corners. Unlike some resorts that can be stingy with portions or beverage quality, here they provide the full wholesome experience. Drinks were always generously poured and promptly refilled, and there was an excellent variety of restaurants open simultaneously for dinner, giving plenty of choice each evening. Special thanks to Mohamed and the wonderful Barcelonian dive instructor, who were incredibly kind, professional and personable. They even remembered us by name before we had arrived at the dive centre, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The management team was equally impressive — professional, attentive and seemingly never saying no to any request. The spa treatments were excellent, especially the Thai massage by the Bhutanese therapist, and we also enjoyed one of the best deep tissue massages from the personal trainer at the gym. Prices for activities, spa treatments and extras were all very fair and represented excellent value. Despite being close to Malé, the marine life was thriving and abundant. The water was crystal clear, peaceful and free from noise pollution. We were pleasantly surprised by how lush and vibrant the underwater environment was. Another thing we appreciated was the sense of space. There was never any need to fight for sun loungers, cabanas or tables. Everything felt spacious and relaxed. Families are also exceptionally well catered for, with both a kids' club and a teens' club — something that is surprisingly rare. For travellers who want to maximize their time in the Maldives and avoid spending hours on seaplane transfers, this resort is an absolute gem. The convenience of being close to Malé combined with such a luxurious atmosphere is hard to beat. Overall, this has been the most value-for-money yet genuinely luxurious resort we have ever experienced. Exceptional service, outstanding food, thoughtful management, and a team that consistently goes above and beyond make this a place we would return to without hesitation. Will definitely be back.

As a resort offering great value for money, we were all very satisfied. At the airport, look for your contact person at counters A17-18 to arrange your speedboat transfer. Firstly, this island is connected to the Hard Rock Hotel and Marina Hotel, which means you get to experience three islands in one. You can move freely between them, and there are 11 restaurants in total. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe chain restaurant one evening, and dinner for four cost us $200. We stayed for 3 nights, rotating between a Sky Room, an Overwater Villa, and a Beach Villa, one night each. The difference between the Sky Room and the Beach Villa is that the Sky Room is on the second floor with better views, while the Beach Villa is on the ground floor with direct access to the beach from the balcony. Each has its pros and cons. The Overwater Villas have room numbers starting with 1, and you can directly access the sea for snorkeling. The hotel has an app called 'SAii'. You can use it by scanning the QR code on your room TV upon check-in. It's available in Chinese. You can use it to request transfer buggies and sign up for many free activities. I initially thought we'd just relax for three days, but it turned into a bit of an 'intensive' trip with so much to do! Diamond members have a happy hour from 5-6 PM, offering three types of snacks/canapés and unlimited complimentary drinks and alcoholic beverages. We ate instant noodles on the first and third nights, and at Hard Rock on the second night. With happy hour snacks and drinks, plus breakfast, we had plenty to eat. The hotel breakfast was quite good, though it was always a bit windy due to the sea breeze. The speedboat transfer to and from the island takes 15 minutes, but it's very hot and stuffy inside. Our group of four tipped the butler $20 in total. For the overwater villa, they allowed us to check in at 11 AM, and we moved to a different room at 2 PM the next day. We tipped $2 each time for luggage transfers. As we moved rooms daily, we didn't tip for daily housekeeping. The hotel offers complimentary rental of snorkels, masks, and fins. We even saw a sea turtle up close during one of the free activities. Diamond members can also rent paddle boats and yellow kayaks for free for one hour daily. Bicycle rental on the island costs $10 for 24 hours. In the evenings, you can find many small crabs 🦀 and hermit crabs 🐚 on the beach. Recommendations: Bring instant noodles and snacks to the island, and a swimming float from home if you want to just relax in the water. The island accepts USD, or you can use Alipay/WeChat Pay.

After experiencing a period of burnout, this resort was exactly what I needed to recharge and find a fresh perspective on life. Seamless Arrival & Pristine Beauty From the moment we deal with the staff at the arrival area, the experience was effortless. The resort provides a dedicated luxury speedboat that picks you up and drops you off directly at the airport. It takes away all the stress of travel logistics. The island itself is incredibly well-maintained. The sand is powdery white, and the entire resort is kept spotlessly clean, preserving the natural beauty of the Maldives. A Sanctuary for Peace What I appreciated most was how the resort caters to both physical and spiritual well-being. They have a beautifully maintained mosque on the island, which is very serene, clean and well-kept. It added a layer of calm and convenience that made the stay even more meaningful And not to forget, for your food of mind, they also have a mini library so that we can lay down through out the stay accompanied by the book of our choice. It can be borrowed & later returned via the reception. Unforgettable Highlights Snorkeling from the Villa: One of the best parts of the stay was being able to jump straight into the crystal clear water for snorkeling right under my room. The marine life is vibrant and right at your doorstep. Dolphins at Breakfast: Imagine sipping your morning coffee and watching dolphins play in the distance. We were lucky enough to spot them during breakfast, which was a magical way to start the day. Stargazing: During serene night, either near the beach or while you slowly brisk walking back to your room, it’s surely the perfect place to just enjoy the Maldivian night sky with the beautiful shining stars smiling at you. The Staff: The service here is world-class. Every staff member is genuinely kind, attentive, and dedicated to making your stay perfect. They really go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. The Perfect Cure for Burnout The atmosphere at Grand Park Kodhipparu is incredibly quiet and private. It is the perfect place to sit with a book, listen to the waves, and clear your mind. I left the island feeling like a new person, with a renewed spirit and a calm heart. Final Verdict: A 10/10 experience. Whether you are seeking luxury or a deep mental reset, this is the place to be. We cannot recommend it enough! 😘

We were completely satisfied with our vacation! The hotel isn't new, but everything is in good condition. It's an excellent hotel for its price-quality ratio. It's only a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé. We booked through Trip.com and were met individually. The best standard rooms are 175-200, facing the best beach with a house reef. More expensive room categories are in less swimmable locations. Housekeeping twice a day. The food is varied, with something new for lunch and dinner every day – fish, chicken, seafood day, lamb day. The all-inclusive cocktails are a bit watered down and the selection is limited, but you can't say anything was missing. The corals on the house reef are a bit tired, but there are many fish, small sharks, and it's beautiful overall; we swam every day and never got bored. On the opposite side from the main beach is the beautiful Bandos Rock reef – there's never anyone there, and there seemed to be more marine life. Excursions need to be booked well in advance, several days ahead – there's swimming with manta rays, sharks, fishing, and dolphins – there likely won't be spots if you try to book the day before. There's a sufficient amount of Russian-speaking staff, including many great guys from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

One of the best decisions I made during my trip to the Maldives was staying at Oblu Select Sangeli. I had an incredible and unforgettable experience there. I booked the water villa with private pool and it was stunning, offering the perfect balance between luxury and privacy. The private pool was the ideal spot to enjoy the sunsets and turquoise waters. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. If you are looking for a luxurious experience in the Maldives, I highly recommend the Water villa with private pool at Oblu Select Sangeli. It truly was a dreamy destination, and I can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained. The staff are very friendly and proactively greet guests. However, the guy who checked us out was a bit aloof and didn't smile at all. What's truly commendable is that after we left the hotel by speedboat, we realized we had left an item behind. The staff immediately turned around and went back to the hotel to retrieve it for us. Their professionalism and dedication really deserve praise.

Pro - We had a fantastic stay at OBLU XPERIENCE. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The food was excellent, offering a good variety of dishes each day, and the quality was consistently high. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great value resort that we would happily recommend to family and friends. Also special mentions to Kids Club. The facilities were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of activities to keep children entertained throughout the day. The staff were friendly, caring, and genuinely attentive, making the children feel welcome and safe. Our kids especially enjoyed the games, creative activities, and the fun atmosphere. It was reassuring to know they were having such a great time while we relaxed and enjoyed the resort. The Kids Club is well-equipped for different age groups and offers a good balance of play, learning, and social interaction. A big thank you to the Kids Club team for their enthusiasm and dedication. They helped make our family holiday even more memorable. We would highly recommend the Kids Club to families visiting OBLU Maldives. Cons - While we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, one disappointing experience was being prohibited from entering the water directly from our water villa at 7:00 a.m. The sea was calm and the tide was low, making the conditions safe. One of the main reasons for booking a water villa is the freedom to access the ocean at any time, so this restriction was frustrating and took away from the experience.

If you're seeking late-night parties and DJs, this might not be the resort for you. Now, let's dive into the details. The resort is conveniently located just a 20-25 minute speedboat ride from Male airport. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the island is small enough to walk around in 15-20 minutes. We stayed in a beach villa with a private pool and half-board. The pool was shaded by palm trees during the hottest parts of the day, and the beach was simply perfect. The online photos might appear a bit dated, but the reality is much better. Our dedicated butler, Reema, was incredibly kind and attentive, making our babymoon special with hot baths, flower arrangements, and private celebrations. She took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The resort features three restaurants and a charming bar. The food at Lime, the main restaurant, was exceptional—everything we tried was delicious. Although the breakfast buffet wasn't extensive, it was complemented by an à la carte menu that offered a variety of tasty options. Lala made our dinners extra special with his food recommendations and attentiveness to our preferences. Overall, our entire trip was a success, and the Baros team truly made it memorable. Things to know: - Transfers are chargeable by the hotel. Ensure you inform them of your arrival flight 2 days in advance and get confirmation on your transfer. - The hotel is very relaxed and private, making it ideal for newlyweds, honeymooners, and families with older children. - The resort offers daily activities, including excursions, snorkeling trips, cruises, yoga, and more. Some activities are chargeable, while others are free, and all necessary gear is available at the Marine Center at no cost. We would visit again.
