I booked a twin room, but when I got there it turned out to be a double. I then contacted the front desk and was promptly shown to a twin room. The building, the room, and the large communal bath were all clean. The free drink bar was also nice. However, it was closed at night, which was inconvenient when I was thirsty. I know that the tap water in the bathroom is drinkable, but I'm not really comfortable with it, so if they just provided bottled water in the room I'd have no complaints. Overall it was a very good place to stay.
The hotel seems a bit dated but very well maintained with an old world charm. The room was reasonably sized and i really liked they implemented a lounge for all guests to access from 2-7pm with a wide range of drinks even sake and wine.
It is not far from Nara JR Station and Kintetsu Station, but Kintetsu Station is relatively closer. I checked in during my birthday. I informed the hotel in advance and received a handwritten card and a bag of konpeito when I checked in. There is no need to clean up and there are free cans of sparkling wine or barley tea. I added a Japanese dinner, and when I was almost done with the meal, the restaurant staff also brought free small cakes with candles and fruit platters, which was very touching.
The rooms are all sliding doors, with a tatami area, which is very large and clean. There are free white pajamas to change every day. The bathroom and toilet are separated into wet and dry areas, and there are two hair dryers.
There is free coffee and matcha milk on the first floor. You can mix your own sparkling wine before 21 o'clock in the evening, and the souvenir shop is also open before 22 o'clock to buy some specialties.
There is a free 1-hour walking tour of Nara street buildings at 7 o'clock on weekends. Just inform the hotel in advance to make an appointment.
There is a non-hot spring hot spring bath on the basement floor, but I didn't experience it due to the itinerary.
The breakfast is a buffet of Japanese scenic spots. The egg rolls are delicious, and the fruit is as good as cantaloupe.
A very pleasant stay experience
There are deer at the door and Mount Wakakusa next to it. It is very close to various attractions. Although the boss does not speak the language, he is very enthusiastic and gave me a map. There is a public restaurant, toilet, and shower. The room is clean. There are deer outside the window. It's just that it's a mountain road. I was exhausted from pulling the luggage. I searched for a long time and found it on a big staircase.
Although I went to the state of the room with people again, I had hot springs at this price and this kind of food. I think the cp value is extremely high. You can pay attention to the shuttle bus until Dahe Xida Temple, regular pick-up and drop-off, if you are confident in the Japanese dialogue, you can call the hotel between 0900-1700 and ask for a pick-up. It is worth mentioning that buying a letter in the hotel is cheaper than going to Nara Park.
The well-regulated Japanese-style tatami room, just three people's bunk, all kinds of supplies are complete, but the room does not provide free drinking water, the tea itself has a taste of tap water. Dinner and breakfast are provided. People go to the table. The sashimi has been dried. Other dishes are more ordinary. It is almost meaningless than other hot spring hotel meals. The ladies hot spring is a small pool and a bathtub and sauna similar to the foot of the Buddha. There are no highlights. The waiter is not particularly enthusiastic. I stared at the guests and said that I could not touch this and that. There was a free drink machine at the entrance of the hot spring. I wanted to drink in the morning and found that I was turned off after work. The only highlight is the waiter who came to help, who was gentle and beautiful. The hotel terrace has a good view and the price is average.
When you a stay at Tounomine Kanko Hotel in Sakurai, you'll be in the historical district, just steps from Tanzan-Jinja Shrine and Tanzan Shrine. This ryokan is 11.9 mi (19.1 km) from Nara Kenko Land and 3.1 mi (5 km) from Ishibutai Tomb.
Make use of convenient amenities, which include complimentary wireless internet access and a vending machine.
Japanese breakfasts are available daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM for a fee.
Featured amenities include luggage storage, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and microwave in a common area.
Make yourself at home in one of the 37 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature complimentary toiletries and bidets. Conveniences include safes, and housekeeping is provided daily.
I was alone in a twin room, so it felt spacious.
I was impressed by the free drinks server and the green and black tea bags provided.
The side dishes at the breakfast buffet (1,100 yen) were pretty average, but the miso soup was plain unless you put your own chopped green onions into your bowl.
Disappointingly, there was no power outlet in the sink area of the unit bath, so the hair dryer couldn't be used.
There was only a mirror in the sink area, and not one on the wall in front of the table where the power outlet was, so I couldn't style my hair.
I asked the front desk to come to my room and confirm that there was no power outlet.
For that reason, I rated the facility average (3 stars), but that may be a little lenient.
When you first walk in the smell of relaxation hits you. I'm not sure what fragrance it was but absolutely loved it. We enjoyed everything about this hotel from location, food and room accommodations.
I want to go to the nearby mountains, and it is a difficult place to find accommodation in Osaka and Kyoto on weekends. There is also a hiking course, but the schedule was changed due to physical strength and weather on the day.
It was different from the schedule because I arrived in the afternoon and left in the morning.
After the rain, the dreamy lake in the evening left an impression on me.
The accommodation carni uses electric cars, but the transportation costs are expensive, and there are no convenience stores nearby, or restaurants open in the evening, so I walked down to Ikoma Station, but it took 30 to 40 minutes by stairs. ㅠ (my knee)
It's better to eat and go up to shop in advance.
The accommodation was also high, so the view was good, and the hot spring was good to be able to book for an hour.
No English, I recommend using an interpreter.

Amazing
GGuest UserOverall, the hotel is new and looks very nice. For family traveling, it is not very convenient, especially if you have strollers as there are places without ramps, only stairs.
There is not much amenities you can use in the property without paying extra. With such a high room price, you would expect more.
The location is very close to the Nara park and you can see deers inside the property.
The included breakfast can be better, I don’t think the portion is enough, but they do provide rice if you need more.

法法克斯很淡定I spent an unforgettable three days and two nights at Fufu Nara. The hotel has luxurious facilities, beautiful environment, and delicious food. Especially the private hot spring that can be enjoyed 24 hours a day. It is worthy of being the first choice for vacation in Nara.
