Guest UserJust a 3-4 minute walk from Kurashiki Station South Exit, this hotel has a lovely European resort style. For a Monday, a twin room at only 330 yen is incredible value for money! The room was quite spacious, and the large public bath in the basement was also very roomy, complete with free massage chairs. You can buy tickets for the Ohara Museum of Art at the front desk for 100 yen less than at the entrance. Plus, there's an affordable supermarket right across from the hotel that's open until 11 PM – perfect for grabbing groceries! I bought a bunch of late-night snacks and breakfast for the next day, all for less than 1500 yen.

This was my second time staying at Abest Grande Hotel, and once again, the experience was excellent. The service is extremely good — all staff are very polite, welcoming, and always greet guests with a genuine smile.
We were offered a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a very nice touch. The staff were also very helpful in calling a restaurant on our behalf to assist with making a reservation, which we truly appreciated.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a long day. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it a great base for exploring the city.
Overall, the hospitality made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Both the location and the room size of the hotel are good. Staff were accommodating and efficient. My friend enjoyed the onsen and we had a good stay in the hotel.

WK.CThe scenery is so beautiful, very comfortable and first-class service! The proprietress and the driver staff are kind and friendly! If you buy a jrpass, you can make an appointment to pick up and drop off. It’s free at Kurayoshi Station and highway tolls at Tsuyama Station, but it’s worth it. Time is money. I gave a small gift before I finally left, looking forward to going again next time!

Guest UserThe hotel service was warm and attentive, the hot spring was very comfortable, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, especially the Garlic Mountain Milk, which was particularly fragrant and rich. It is very close to Tsuyama Castle.

I had a pleasant stay!
I would have been happy if I had a blanket when I went to bed at night. .. It was a little cold because there was no air conditioner.
And I thought it would be nice if hot water came out in the washroom in the room.
Breakfast was very delicious!

This time I stayed with my foreign husband. The lobby was classy and the historic atmosphere inside the building was very nice. I was impressed that I could see the wide ocean from my Japanese-style room. It's a traditional hotel, so the building itself is old (we liked the atmosphere, on the contrary), but it was well-maintained and the tatami mats were clean. We had our meals in our room, and the variety of dishes served looked gorgeous, and my husband was so impressed by the sumptuous Japanese food that he took many photos. It was delicious! In the evening, I went to the lobby to see Washu Taiko perform. My husband was really excited about this and we really enjoyed watching it from beginning to end! When I was deciding on a hotel this time, I heard that there would be a performance by Washu Taiko, and I decided on it, and it was really impressive! The staff was very responsive and I was very satisfied with my stay! I think this is a very good hotel where even foreigners can feel the Japanese atmosphere! I definitely want to go again!

Guest UserThe hotel is a bit away from town, but one may enjoy the ambience environment. Onsen facilities are good, nice breakfast with great choices. Dinner are set menu. quality up to standard and services are very good.
The reception is very polite and exceptionally helpful, but need to use translator to communicate with us, we will enjoy more if direct communication in English makes available.

The hotel service is first class, the staff is polite, the whole hot spring hotel facilities should have been all refurbished, the room is very clean and very comfortable. The room is also very large, there is a 100-inch projection TV, there is Netflix and YouTube, one berth and two food are the first 3 of the best food in many hot spring hotels, super rich! The public hot springs are relatively small, but because there are not many people, you can enjoy the hot springs quietly ♨️ bath! Breakfast is very good, parking is sufficient, there are charging parking spaces, but if you have to contact the hotel in advance.

Guest UserI stayed overnight with a friend. There is the sea in front of you and the location is great. Since it is on a hill, depending on the tent you stay in, you have to climb considerably, so you use your physical strength. Since there is no bath, you can use the hot springs in the nearby hotel at a discounted price, but you have to be careful because the final admission is 20:30. It was very good including other services.
