The bridge has a total length of 3071 meters, a tower height of 197 meters, and two main cables with a diameter of 0.870 meters. The bridge deck is designed according to the standard of a six-lane expressway, with a width of 33.8 meters and a design speed of 100 km/h. For the parking belt, there are 1.5m wide sidewalks on both sides of the river-crossing part of the main bridge. There are two towers, north and south. The South Tower is located on a rocky foundation on the South Bank. The north tower is located in the shallow water area outside the north bank, and adopts the pile foundation for island construction. The south anchorage is a gravity rock-socketed anchorage structure. The north hole is composed of multi-span prestressed continuous rigid frame. The north and south approach bridges are prestressed concrete girder bridges with lengths of 132m and 1365m respectively. The navigable clear height under the bridge is 50 meters, which can meet the navigability of 50,000-ton ships. Construction of the bridge started on November 22, 1994, and was completed and opened to traffic on September 28, 1999.
