"The park is large, tree-lined, and it feels quite good to have time to walk and stop. The scenery of the Crystal Palace and the small lake in front is pleasant, and there are swans, wild ducks and pigeons playing, which is peaceful. There is also a free art exhibition to see, it is worth mentioning."

Highlights: Open to the public, there are major attractions including the Statue Avenue, the Crystal Palace, the artificial lake and more. The park covers an area of 118 hectares and has nearly 15,000 trees. It is one of the favorite places for locals to visit. It is especially lively on weekends. At that time, there will be various activities in the park. Dog classes, open-air concerts, etc., small vendors selling special souvenirs, gypsies holding crystal balls for divination, and street performers who “surprise” or “scare” tourists from time to time are also a beautiful scene. Retiro Park is a good place to relax your body and mind. You can sit on a bench in the park, or lie on the grass, bask in the sun, watch the little squirrels or pigeons play and watch the Spanish children playing in the grass. Have fun and enjoy some free time in Madrid. The statues on the Statue Avenue and the Statue Avenue in the Rose Garden Park are similar to the statues on the Oriental Plaza. They are all 20 emperors in Spanish history. The Rose Garden was designed and built by the chief designer of Retiro Park according to the design and construction of the Reed Rose Garden in the Bois de Boulogne Park in Paris. At that time, different varieties of roses collected from various botanical gardens in Europe were gathered here. Now there are more than 4,000 roses in the garden. When the roses bloom in May and June, the garden is full of fragrance. King Alfonso XII Monument and Artificial Lake The artificial lake in the center of Retiro Park is very popular. On one side of the lake stands the Monument to King Alfonso XII, about 32 meters high. The bronze statue of the twelfth century, the columns below it are arranged in a half-moon shape, which is very spectacular. There are bronze lion statues on both sides of the monument, which are lifelike and majestic. In the artificial lake, in addition to admiring the majestic King Alfonso XII Monument, you can also rent pedal boats to go boating on the lake, with black swans and teal ducks swimming by, which is very interesting. Crystal Palace and Velasquez House The Crystal Palace next to the artificial lake is one of the famous attractions in Retiro Park. This crystal clear glass house is currently open to the public as an exhibition hall like the nearby Velasquez House. Mainly used for art exhibitions.

"Barcelona Zoo is located in Catalonia, in the north-east of Spain. On an area of 13.5 hectares there is a collection of more than 300 species of animals, reptiles and birds, as well as 400 species of trees, shrubs and flowers. The park opened in 1892 on the territory of the Citadel Park (Ciutadella Park), where a vacant plot of land remained after the World's Fair in 1888. The animals for the creation of the zoo were donated from a private collection by banker Luis Marti Codolar. A feature of the zoological garden was the refusal to keep animals in cages. Moats with water and small fences serve as fences here, which has significantly improved the living conditions of pets. According to tourists, this approach brings visitors closer to nature, as it allows them to better view the inhabitants of the park."

Highlights: Barcelona Zoo is located in the Barcelona Castle Park, built in 1892 and covers an area of 13 hectares. It is one of the oldest and also modern zoos in the world today. The zoo is open-plan, allowing people to directly touch the animals. There are more than 400 species and 7,500 animals in the park. The animals on display include many animals from Africa and South America, and many of them are endangered species. Among the various monkeys living in the tropical rain forest on display, there is one kind of monkey that is very small, only about two-thirds the size of a human palm, which is extremely cute. There are also many rare animals in the night hall, such as night monkeys. What is even more rare is that there are native animals unique to Australia in the Barcelona Zoo, including a long tail that resembles a mouse and is said to be the world's smallest marsupial. In the reptile house, visitors can also see the world's poisonous spider "Black Widow".

"I love this zoo so much! The tickets you bought are reasonable. So many different animals, some I have never seen before, like white tigers, dolphins etc. The variety of animal displays/shows are wonderful, but dolphins are just breathtaking! The dolphin show is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I don't speak Spanish so I don't understand what people are saying but you don't need to speak Spanish to appreciate it. The aquarium is great, there are lots of different kinds of fish and then you can go to the big aquarium with lots of sharks. My whole holiday in Madrid was great but the zoo is the best so far. I 100% recommend you to come here"
