Original Text
It is a shrine that is located about a 10-minute walk from JR Suma Station. It's a little high. Suma no Seki is Settsu no Seki, which is prescribed by the Taiho Order. It is Suma no Seki that will take the stage on the Hyakunin Isshu composed by Genkanemaga. Sekimori Inari Shrine was enshrined as the guardian deity of this Seki. It is a small but beautiful vermilion shrine. If you are interested in shrines and temples, why not visit them?
Kobe City is a topography with mountains approaching the sea, especially around Suma, where a barrier is set up, and a set of mountains and seas form a scenic landscape. For that reason, there are many songs that I read Suma, and it seems that this shrine also has many monuments. It's a residential area now, so the format was not good.
It is said that it was established in the middle of the 7 century as an important barrier next to "Sanseki of the world" and was abolished in 789. There are various theories about the place where it was installed, and it has not been confirmed. There is also a theory that it was in the precincts of Genkoji Temple because the stone monument excavated from the back of Genkoji Temple is carved as "Kawato Usekiya Ruins".
It is a shrine located on the site (there are various theories) where Suma no Seki (Settsu no Seki) was located.

It is a shrine located on the site of Suma no Seki (there are various theories) in Ogura Hyakunin Isshu. JR About 10 minutes walk from Suma Station, there is a slope on the way, so I'm quite tired. If you climb the slope, you will see a red raft, so I don't think you will make a mistake. The location is in a corner of a residential area and it is a narrow road, so it is difficult to go by car. Because it is a hill, it would have been a good place to see if it was the era of the author of the century and the song (late Heian period) when Suma no Seki (Settsu no Seki) was established.
We, who like shrines and temples, always visit the shrine wherever we go. I was looking forward to this shrine because the red torii gate caught my eyes and sang even Hyakunin Isshu. Since he is an Inari-san, he is known as the god of business.
