is there anything to do with the owl?
Original Text
When I visited Takamatsu, I thought that there are many works of art from the station to the ruins of Takamatsu Castle. Is it something related to Takamatsu? Or do you think that the person who put it here is a good work? The former is a work that cannot be evaluated by ordinary people, and the latter is a work that cannot be evaluated by ordinary people. I just keep it as normal because it is.
From JR Takamatsu Station, head toward the Clement Hotel and you will be at the end of the seawater pond and flower clock. It's quiet like an owl, as if you're passing by without being conscious of it ...
It is an owl sculpture installed in the green zone in front of the hotel at the edge of Takamatsu Station Square. This is also an art work, but it seemed to have nothing to do with the Setouchi Triennale event.
Walking from Takamatsu Station toward the Clement Hotel, a small stone statue in front of the hotel building is the king of the forest. In the stone frame is Fukuro, and it is 1 of art works around Takamatsu Station.
Takamatsu City is a town with many public art. In particular, the area around Takamatsu Station is concentrated, so you can fully appreciate it just during the interval of business trips. One of the arts is the owl stone statue "King of the Forest (Hideyuki Sakamoto's work)" located between the seawater pond in front of Takamatsu Station and Hotel Clement.
