AAnonymous User: The hotel environment is very nice, but it's a 50-minute drive from the airport, which is a bit far. The service was excellent; Alex, who cleaned my room, deserves praise. The downside is the poor facilities. Since the tap water isn't safe for brushing teeth or drinking, couldn't they at least provide two bottles of mineral water in the room? The hairdryer was unreliable and terribly broken. There was also no electric kettle. I hope these improvements will be made.

MMaisonNatali: This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in the world. Everything is perfect here—incredibly delicious cuisine, impeccable cleanliness, and service that's meticulously thought out down to the last detail. Guests' every wish is fulfilled with genuine care and attention. The level of hospitality is astounding, and this hotel has truly become our second home in Tanzania. The animal-friendly activities are an unforgettable experience that will stay with us for a lifetime. We'll definitely be back.

DDaizhuoCicikanshijie: The room was large and clean, and there was a balcony. There is a beautiful garden and swimming pool, like an English manor. Although the price is shown on Trip.com Breakfast is included, the front desk told us that three meals are included, so the price is very high. The food in the restaurant is also delicious, everything is great and very satisfied!

DDongdong: The service is very warm, the environment is very good, the building is relatively high and easy to find, the disadvantage is that there is no kettle, and the local area is very cold, and the restaurant can have hot water. The location is relatively biased, which does not match the external environment map introduced by the website.

ZZineb Soury: We stayed for one night. The lodge is beautiful with a nice garden. However the road to the lodge is quite difficult to reach if it raining or has rained. If you managed the off triad it is very close to the airport. Service and staff are very friendly. Dinner and breakfast is very good.

From organizing with Laurent to experiencing the trip with Jackson, everything flowed seamlessly! It was a genuine immersion into Tanzanian culture, right in the heart of the parks, up close with wildlife and locals. Both Jackson and Laurent were thoughtful and attentive, even planning lovely surprises for one of our birthdays. We also had two extra requests alongside the itinerary, and they made them happen! Fellow French travelers, get ready to embrace Tanzanian humor—it might be surprising at first, but you’ll quickly warm up to it and truly relax. As they say in Tanzania, "Pole pole!" A special thanks to Jackson for this journey and his heartfelt sharing of his love for nature. This is an agency you can trust blindly! One tip: ask to picnic in the parks, away from the usual designated areas frequented by other groups. It’s a chance to enjoy lunch under a tree, possibly just meters away from a zebra or giraffe!

If you're looking to immerse yourself in nature and track down Africa’s iconic wildlife, Arusha is a destination you can’t afford to miss! Nestled in northern Tanzania near the base of Mount Meru, this vibrant city serves as the essential gateway to world-famous safari routes like the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 🐘 ✨ 3 Must-Visit Spots in Arusha 🦒 Arusha National Park — This stunning park features lush forests, sparkling lakes, volcanic craters, and a diverse range of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes. During certain seasons, you can even spot flocks of flamingos. Nature lovers can explore via game drives, ranger-led hikes, or even canoeing in designated areas. 🏔️ Mount Meru — Towering at 4,566 meters, this majestic peak looms over the city. It’s a perfect challenge for hikers and a popular spot for climbers to acclimatize before tackling Mount Kilimanjaro. ☕ Coffee Plantation Tours — Located at the foothills of Mount Meru, these plantations offer a seed-to-cup experience. You can learn about cultivation, harvesting, roasting, and brewing, all while soaking in the rich aroma and getting a glimpse into local farming life. 🍽️ Local Flavors to Try: Don't miss out on Ugali, a staple maize porridge served with meat or vegetables, and Nyama Choma, the quintessential East African grilled meat. 💡 Travel Tips: If you're planning a safari, book a reputable guide and vehicle in advance, particularly during high season. Also, pack a light jacket; mornings and evenings can be surprisingly chilly. Arusha may not have the glitz of a metropolis, its true charm lies in its proximity to the wild. It’s the perfect place to begin an unforgettable African journey. 🌍✨

I did a 5-day safari (3 days in Serengeti, 1 day in Ngorongoro, 1 day in Tarangire) with an extra private day trip to Empakaai Crater. It was an absolutely amazing experience, from meeting the driver and other group members to enjoying the accommodations and camps—and, of course, the wildlife. We saw the Big 5, along with many other animals, including a secretary bird and a serval cat. Each park and conservation area had its own distinct landscape, with even more variation within them. Our driver was highly skilled, and aside from the expected joys of the safari, I loved witnessing the Tanzanian spirit: all the safari drivers would stop to assist each other if there was a breakdown or someone got stuck. No matter the challenge, there was always a smile and a positive attitude. Empakaai Crater was a fantastic experience with more focus on the landscape than the wildlife, and it’s truly a special place I highly recommend visiting if possible. In addition to the safari, I took a separate trip to Lake Natron and trekked Ol Doinyo Lengai. The landscape of Lake Natron was one of the most stunning I’ve ever seen, and the trek was unforgettable. Ol Doinyo Lengai, or the Mountain of God, is sacred to the Maasai and the only active volcano in Tanzania. Its lava is the coldest of any volcano and appears black. The overnight hike culminates in a breathtaking sunrise and a 360-degree view at the summit. I also did a 3-day trek to summit Mount Meru, which was yet another highlight of my time in Tanzania. Those three days were the most scenic of my life, offering incredible views from start to finish, capped by a summit sunrise behind Kilimanjaro. I cannot recommend these experiences enough. I had so many unforgettable adventures and was well taken care of throughout. Not to mention, all the food was delicious and fresh—I honestly didn’t have a single bad meal during my two-month stay!

We had an all-around wonderful stay. The lodge was situated in a large, well-maintained, and natural environment that truly impressed us. The Riverwalk on the property is perfect for a relaxing nature walk. You can also spot various species of monkeys, including Colobus monkeys, right at the lodge. The entire service team was incredibly warm and helpful. The local à la carte dishes were also very delicious. Additionally, the ambiance in the various areas of the lodge left a lasting impression on us.

Our stay amidst Tanzania's natural beauty was truly wonderful! A huge "Thank You" goes out to our amazing drivers and safari guides, Ben and Zablon. They were incredibly knowledgeable about Tanzania's wildlife and landscapes, answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. They shared fascinating details about the surroundings and safely navigated us through the rugged terrains of Arusha NP, Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. They went above and beyond to show us the Big 5, even though spotting wildlife is unpredictable, giving us a glimpse of Tanzania's diverse beauty. The 9 days of game drives never got monotonous, with continuously changing landscapes and impeccable choices of campsites and lodges. These accommodations were clean, offered 24/7 fresh water, had kind and helpful service, served delicious food, and provided enjoyable lunchboxes. We also recommend visiting the "Kifaru Coffee Plantation" in Karatu (located en route from Tarangire to Ngorongoro). It offers a fascinating hour-long tour of the plantation, capped off with a delightful coffee tasting. The only activity we wouldn’t repeat is visiting a Masai village. It felt overly touristic, and the presentation wasn’t well-received by all of us. Nonetheless, this was an unforgettable adventure, and we wholeheartedly recommend it as a "once-in-a-lifetime" experience! Kind regards, Little Miss Twiga, Mr Marcus, Kifaru, Baby Lion, Simba, Cheetah, Pumba, PapaChef & Mama Twiga

Located close to Arusha National Park, this lodge lets you fully enjoy the woodland surroundings. With tall green plants all around, it feels like a refreshing, natural oxygen bar. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and provide scenic forest views when you open the window. Dining at the restaurant during the day, you can hear birds chirping and distant animal calls, creating a peaceful ambiance. Enjoying dinner at sunset is especially romantic, and the restaurant's nighttime lighting adds a magical touch. The staff are exceptionally warm and considerate. They check meal ingredients in advance and customize dishes to match Chinese tastes. The female head chef is highly skilled, serving beautifully presented and delicious food. The chicken rice, made with rice imported from China, felt just like home. Every meal includes fresh fruit, though I couldn’t enjoy papaya due to my allergy. Highly recommend this lodge for anyone visiting Arusha!

In September, we stayed at one of the Kili Villas for a night, and it was the ideal retreat after a lengthy flight to Tanzania! Our room was beautifully designed, and the staff's service was outstanding. Frank and Ashura went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met, and the meals were absolutely delightful. The villas offer a cozy and intimate atmosphere, with shared spaces like a single dining room/living room. Additionally, each room boasts its own private outdoor seating area.

I truly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend this hotel to all my friends. It is seriously underrated! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive to your every need, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. For me, the standout features were the balcony feeding and the unforgettable bush dining experience. There's so much to do that you could easily spend an entire day enjoying the hotel's activities and facilities—especially the animal feeding, which was an absolute delight!
We were in Nairobi for two days and had already done the elephant orphanage and giraffe centre visits so thought this would be more interesting. So at the outset don't expect a big park like the Masai Mara which is not surprising as it is on the outskirts of Nairobi although it is not a small park in its own right and you can spend 4-5 hours driving around. We did see lions which was the highlight plus some giraffes and zebras so it was a great afternoon.
