MMarc D - PG: The Hotel is new and very impressive. Free wine tasting at 15.00 every day in English is a nice treat! The selection of swimming pools is impressive; indoors and outdoors with differing temperatures. Definitely important to pick a lake/pool view rather than city/car park! A gentle 5 mins stroll to the waterfront and various bars/cafes and the ‘strand’ (pay for waterfront area). All in all, good for young families and couples

MMissba: The room was okay, but a bit far from the lake, a 20-minute walk. I was a little scared to walk back alone after dark. I was very satisfied with the room after one night, so I extended my stay for another night through Ctrip. However, the hotel manager told me that the room was already booked and I had to change rooms. Considering it was just moving to the next room, I reluctantly agreed. The new room's balcony was half the size, which was bad enough, but the shower was broken, and the curtains didn't block out the light, waking me up early in the morning. At checkout, the manager asked for 1480 forints for city tax, accepting only cash. I gave her 5000 forints, but after leaving, I found she only gave me 3020 forints in change, 500 forints short. Was she deliberately trying to collect a tip this way? Unacceptable!

SShengyuehan: Environment: The hotel is about ten minutes walk from Balatonfured Railway Station 🚉 and five minutes walk to the lake. The building may have a history of 200 years, the maintenance is still very good, the room decoration is quite old-fashioned Hygienic: The linen is still clean, but there are stains on the towel. It is recommended to change a batch quickly. The white towel is not good to see the stains.

My Europe solo trip ended back in Budapest. From Budapest, I took a day trip to Lake Balaton, known as the Hungarian Sea, and the Tihany peninsula is a must-visit. Here you don't need to rush. Take your time wandering the town and enjoying the lake view~ 🏞️ Must-see sights 🌈 Tihany Benedictine Abbey This iconic landmark on the peninsula, a pair of white twin towers, can be seen from far away. The viewing platform in front of the abbey is the prime photo spot. From its high vantage, you can take in all of Lake Balaton, with sailboats dotted across the surface, and every shot looks like a postcard. 🌈 Tihany town streets and alleys Many old thatched-roof stone cottages remain, and the winding alleys are picturesque. Street shops are full of lavender items—soaps, sachets, honey, and local chocolate—perfect for picking up souvenirs. 🌈 Lake Balaton boardwalk Walk the lakeside path to get close to the water and watch sailboats and waterbirds. Find a bench by the shore, sit and stare into the breeze—the sparkling water is peaceful and deeply soothing. ✅ Practical tips ▪️ Transport: take the train for the round trip, then transfer to a public bus. Be sure to check the timetables in advance. ▪️ Food recommendation: dine at echo restaurant for the view. I had fish soup and a burger. Lavender ice cream 🍦 is a great dessert.

#postandearn #attractive Spending a few days in Balatonfüred was a perfect way to enjoy the northern shore of Lake Balaton. This historic spa town is famous for its elegant promenade, thermal springs, and vibrant lakeside atmosphere. Walking along the Tagore promenade, I enjoyed views of the sparkling lake, sailboats gliding by, and charming cafés serving local delicacies. One of the highlights was visiting the town’s classic spa buildings and tasting the mineral waters at the public fountains. Balatonfüred is also a hub for sailing and water sports, making it ideal for both relaxation and adventure. In the evenings, the sunset over the lake created a magical ambiance that I’ll never forget. Practical tips: The best time to visit is late spring to early autumn. Bring comfortable shoes for walking along the promenade and explore nearby vineyards for a taste of the region’s famous wines. Renting a bike is also a fun way to explore the lakeside paths and nearby villages. For history buffs, nature lovers, and those seeking a relaxing lakeside getaway, Balatonfüred is a must-visit destination at Lake Balaton. #CreateWithTrip #Balatonfüred #LakeBalaton

Balatonfured is on the northern shore of Lake Balaton and is one of the main traffic junctions there. There are nice promenades, churches, beaches, parks, a palace and a port. Hotels, shops and restaurants are lined up next to the coastal promenade. The promenade is quite long but if you want to do a more serious walk there are nice look-out towers and view points. The look out tower near "Ujtelep" bus stop is on private property you can visit only a few days in a year so it's better to skip. #travel #city #beach #port #promenade

我还是meThe Benedictine Monastery and Museum is a great place to learn about Hungarian history. The interior of the monastery is very gorgeous, and there is an observation deck outside that overlooks Lake Balaton and the sunset over Balaton. The scenery is very charming.
coo***anIn the afternoon, we visited Hevíz, a renowned place with the world's second largest thermal lake—a tranquil and beautiful place. Initially, I thought it would be a simple soak in the hot springs, but upon arrival, I was truly captivated by its serenity and lush beauty. We enjoyed the therapeutic effects of the hot springs, strolled through the town in the evening, and finally had a sumptuous Western-style buffet—a truly fulfilling day.
