OxanaSve: When I booked, I only saw one negative review, and it was a negative one, even though the hotel had an 8.9 rating. I was really worried about the rating being inconsistent. It turned out I was wrong. This isn't a hotel, but a three-story guesthouse. The owner lives in the same building. She prepares breakfast for 30 lari: pancakes, scrambled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, cold cuts (sausage), and hot dogs. The room is small, of course, and there's no air conditioning. But that didn't bother us. It's cool in the mountains at night, so we could easily open the window at night. There's a cozy balcony. The bathroom has everything you need: shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains. Next door is a private house with a cowshed; we woke up to the sound of mooing in the morning. Parking is available along the street. The village center is a 10-minute walk away. We didn't regret choosing this option.

Under the deep night sky, looking up reveals a sky full of stars, while looking down shows the warm yellow lights of the church, and in the distance, Mount Kazbek is reduced to just an outline. The first light falls on the snowy peak, suddenly turning the summit golden. The warm sunlight spreads over the mountain, and the sight of the sunlit golden peak is unforgettable. Hiking into the mountains during the day, through grassy slopes, rocky paths, and glacial meltwater, the snowy peak no longer feels distant but remains constantly in sight. Breathing grows heavier, but the scenery becomes more real. During the blue hour, the sky gradually cools, the mountain returns to silence, and the church lights turn on, like candlelight—faint but warm. Many people ask when is the best time to visit Georgia? Personally, I give May a 10/10, hands down! It's the perfect time when nature is completely waking up from its winter slumber. The view right in front of you is "the ultimate contrast" 🏔️ The mountains here are insanely green! The fresh green meadows contrast perfectly with the peaks that are still capped in "pure white snow." Especially if you visit the Kazbegi area... it literally feels like stepping right out of a fairytale painting! The photos are from late May. Hey everyone! It's me again. The weather in Saigon has been pretty muggy lately, so I decided to treat myself to a getaway to the snowy mountains of Kazbegi in Georgia. As someone who spends every day hovering around a warm oven, breathing in the freezing air of the Caucasus region for the first time has me absolutely stoked. Honestly, staring at the majestic snowy peaks right in front of me, I felt like I'd stepped straight into a fantasy world from one of the anime series I binge-watch at home. It's so breathtaking, it literally stopped me in my tracks! This time around, I chose to stay at Rooms Kazbegi. The hotel is perched right on the mountainside, and it's only about a 10-minute walk down to the town's main street. Word has it this place has over 50 years of history, but the interior is decked out in a rustic, ultra-cozy wooden style that's totally my vibe (seeing those natural wooden walls totally gave me flashbacks to the wooden kneading tables back at the bakery, haha). I lucked out big time on this trip and scored a free room upgrade to an Executive Mountain View on a higher floor. Oh my gosh, the view from the balcony looking straight out at the endless snowy peaks is next-level! Waking up bright and early, I just had to pull back the curtains, and a whole masterpiece of nature unfolded right before my eyes. Since Georgia is known as the cradle of wine with over 8,000 years of history, we were handed a bottle of red wine as a welcome gift the second we checked in.
