Who would believe this is a secret autumn oil painting scene in Shenzhen — traveler post in Three Rivers

Who would believe this is a secret autumn oil painting scene in Shenzhen

In Shenzhen, there is actually a flowing autumn oil painting hidden away🍂! The bald cypress forest in Xieyi Sanhe has turned completely red, with layers of red-brown and orange-yellow intertwined. The branches and leaves reflect on the mirror-like lake surface, and as the light ripples, even the air carries a romantic oil painting vibe. This scene is so stunning it leaves you speechless. The best part is, there are few people and it’s free—every photo you take looks like an artistic masterpiece! 🌟Must-visit highlights 1. Oil painting-like bald cypress forest This is definitely the beauty peak of Shenzhen’s bald cypress trees✨! Walk along the wooden boardwalk deep into the forest, where tall bald cypress branches intertwine. The vividly red leaves glow with a gradient of orange tones under the sunlight, like layers of oil paint brushed by a master. Standing in the middle of the boardwalk, looking up reveals an “orange-red dome,” and looking down shows the bald cypress reflection on the lake surface. The oil painting effect of water and sky blending is fully immersive. At 3 PM, soft light slants through the branches, casting mottled shadows on the ground. Taking portraits at this time wraps contours in a gentle oil painting filter, with even hair strands glowing warmly📸. 2. Bald cypress stream oil painting scene The stream beside the bald cypress forest is the perfect finishing touch🌊! Clear shallow water flows around the roots of the bald cypress trees, with pebbles and tiny flowers decorating the banks. The red trees, green water, and pink flowers create a contrasting oil painting palette. Crouch down for close-ups, and the ripples in the water soften the reflection of the bald cypress into graceful curves. Every frame looks like a scene cut straight from an oil painting. 3. Lawn oil painting relaxation area The large lawn outside the bald cypress forest is an excellent viewing platform to appreciate this “bald cypress oil painting”🧺. Sitting on the grass, you see the fully red bald cypress forest in front and the clear blue sky behind. Framing it with your camera creates a richly colored autumn oil painting. If you bring kids, there’s a playful slide and climbing frame nearby, where their joyful figures blend into this oil painting scene, warm and beautiful. 📍Address: Shenzhen · Xieyi Sanhe Park 🚗Transportation · Subway: No subway nearby. You can take the subway to Tanglang Station, transfer to bus M170, then walk 15 minutes (a bit of a hassle) · Driving: Navigate to “Xieyi Sanhe Park Parking Lot,” with plenty of free parking spaces 🎫Admission: Free 💡Helpful Tips 1. Wear off-white or light coffee-colored long dresses for perfect harmony with the bald cypress oil painting tones 2. Bring a transparent umbrella or vintage book as props to enhance the oil painting atmosphere 3. Shoot the bald cypress with front light between 4-5 PM for a stronger oil painting texture 4. There are many mosquitoes by the stream, so remember to bring insect repellent This autumn, don’t miss the living bald cypress oil painting at Xieyi Sanhe! Grab your photo buddy and immerse yourself in this romantic spot~

Among Giants – My Outdoor Adventure in Sequoia National Park — traveler post in Three Rivers

Among Giants – My Outdoor Adventure in Sequoia National Park

#outdooradventure Stepping into Sequoia National Park felt like entering an ancient world ruled by towering giants. Home to some of the largest trees on Earth, this park is a place where nature humbles you, where the air carries the crisp scent of pine and earth, and where the sheer scale of the landscape makes you pause in awe. As I arrived, the first thing that struck me was the enormity of the sequoias. These ancient trees, some standing for over 2,000 years, dwarfed everything around them. Walking among them, I felt as if I had stepped into a land forgotten by time. Their reddish-brown trunks stretched impossibly high, their thick bark etched with the marks of centuries. One of the most awe-inspiring moments was standing before General Sherman, the largest tree in the world by volume. Towering at over 275 feet with a massive trunk base, it was hard to comprehend its size until I stood beside it, feeling like a mere speck in comparison. Nearby, the Congress Trail led me through groves of equally magnificent sequoias, each with its own distinct presence—some standing alone like silent sentinels, others grouped together like ancient council members of the forest. Hiking through the park, I found myself in awe not only of the trees but also of the diverse scenery. The deep green canopy, interspersed with bright patches of wildflowers and the occasional fallen log, created a landscape that felt alive with history. Sunlight filtered through the dense foliage, casting golden rays onto the forest floor and illuminating the mist that drifted through the trees. Beyond the groves, I ventured up to Moro Rock, a granite dome that offers panoramic views of the Great Western Divide. The climb was steep, but reaching the top was worth every step. From there, the sprawling Sierra Nevada stretched endlessly, with rugged peaks dusted in snow and deep valleys bathed in golden light. The contrast between the towering trees below and the vastness of the mountains was breathtaking—a reminder of the incredible diversity within the park. Sequoia’s beauty wasn’t just in its towering trees or sweeping vistas—it was in the quiet moments, too. Sitting by a crystal-clear stream, listening to the gentle rustling of the wind through the canopy, I felt a deep sense of peace. There was something almost sacred about being among these ancient beings, their presence a testament to the passage of time and the resilience of nature.

Giant Forest | Sequoia National Park, a Winter Wonderland! — traveler post in Three Rivers

Giant Forest | Sequoia National Park, a Winter Wonderland!

📍Sequoia National Park 🌳Also known as Redwood Park, it is adjacent to Kings Canyon National Park, located at the border of California and Nevada. I went there before Christmas, and I was amazed by the beauty of the forest in winter. The snow that hasn't melted yet, the towering redwoods that are tens of meters high, and the surprise of the snow-capped mountains slowly appearing at the corner of the road while sitting in the car. 🚗How to visit: Self-driving is recommended, get off the car for hiking or taking photos 💪My Top Attractions 1️⃣General Grant Tree The tallest tree in the park, but because of the distance, there are fewer visitors, so you have more time to enjoy it up close. You can feel the powerful energy field brought by the ancient and huge trees! 2️⃣Big Tree Trail An easy trail, go for a walk at noon, you can see the beams of sunlight falling into the woods, creating a very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. 💡December Admission Tips 1️⃣The weather has warmed up recently, so snow chains are not needed, and the main road is smooth 2️⃣Download the NPS app or tune in to AM1610 to listen to the park radio for the latest information 3️⃣Be sure to refuel before entering the park❗️Sequoia National Park is very large, and it takes 3-4 hours to check in all the snow scenes, and there is no gas station in the park 4️⃣The snow-covered road is slippery, remember to wear hiking shoes with good friction or put on crampons

Universal Studios Hollywood

The overall experience at Universal Studios Hollywood was absolutely fantastic! You could say there were practically no lines. Even the big rides only took about ten minutes (this is essential; otherwise, you'd get overwhelmed and dizzy from all the rush). They're also having the world premiere of Fast & Furious. However, being an older theme park, many details do look a bit dated (especially the Harry Potter area). Universal Studios is truly amazing! It's unique and allows you to experience the film sets up close.

General Sherman Tree

Generally, tourists who visit Metasequoia National Park will first stop at the huge forest village, where there is a tourist service center and some log cabin gift shops. The second stop is to take photos at the General Sherman Tree. Tourists will feel refreshed when walking along the trails. Some of the fallen giant trees have been deliberately hollowed out to allow cars to pass through the middle of the trunks. This shows that the diameter of the Metasequoia is really amazing.
