Hotels With Bars in Gegharkunik, Armenia

Very nice resort. Only wish the swimming pool was maintained and useable, even though the time of year. And also the restaurant was not open, which was disappointing; no food just drinks at the bar. Again, I understand, time of year means less bookings and therefore it's probably not viable to pay staff for the kitchen during that period. We would have liked to have experienced it though. Another time! Otherwise, great location, friendly, unimposing staff, atmospheric lighting and trees and fallen leaves, cosy bungalow. We had stayed prior to this at the nearby Nirvana Resort, Sevan. Loved both, personally preferred Nirvana. What I would say is that Nirvana was the better lake resort, with bungalows right on the lake, especially if you get Nirvana bungalow #1 or Nirvana bungalow #2 with big bay window and modern fittings (however other bungalows are being renovated, and it's such a friendly, cute, quirky, beautiful site), and Garden Inn Resort Sevan was the better site in terms of beauty with its plentiful trees and facilities (even though not operating to full capacity when we stayed), with a short 1-minute walk from the lake shore and 'public beach'. Both this and Noland Resort, which is 8 kilometers away (the front desk called a taxi 1000AMD), stayed for one night separately. The activity range of this hotel is relatively small, but it is enough to meet the needs of the holiday, and it is full of natural scenery and the autumn season. You can sit in a sun lounger or a wooden stool for a whole day in a daze, and the food is better than Nolande (except for the fussy Chinese stomach). Our National Day period may have passed the peak season of Lake Sevan. There are not many people. The uncle has several jobs: front desk, breakfast bar, room service... it is all him. The price is reasonable for helping with taxis. The English is not good but the service is very sincere. , Answer all our questions with translation software, praise!
