TThe SinclairsGot there after receptipn closed due to flight delays and was easy to get access to the room. Bed was huge and very comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast was a good price and the kids meal was great. Would highly recommend as a place to stay if you need to be close to the airport.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit small, but it's considered one of the better hotels in Hobart. There are no slippers provided. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the city center. Overall, it's not bad. We were lucky to see the aurora australis during our three-night stay.

CCatherine EeveeMy stay at Wrest Point in Hobart was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is ideally located in Sandy Bay, right by the waterfront. The room was spacious and clean with excellent natural light, and the stunning bay and mountain views from the window were truly refreshing. The facilities are well-maintained and comprehensive, and the free parking is a huge plus for those traveling by car. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay overall. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!

OousilengI stayed here while on a business trip. The staff are friendly and professional. The location is very convenient and although the hotel is next door to the theatre being renovated there is very little inconvenience to hotel guests. I think they should have a fitness centre. There are parks nearby ideal for a good walk or run. The hotel is older but clean and comfortable.

NNatty TengWe had a fantastic stay at Freycinet Lodge. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the breakfast was excellent. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast with the stunning view of the bay, which made our mornings very special.
One tip for future guests: the road leading to the hotel can be quite dark at night, so it's best to arrive before sunset if possible.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Tasmania!

YYao LungThe room photos on Trip.com were taken when the room was brand new. It clearly is no longer the case now - some staining on the curtains and soft furniture and marks on walls. Overall, for the price, it's still acceptable.
Check-in is done at the bar like most similar types of accommodation above a pub.
Bedding is exceptionally comfortable - special mention of the supremely comfortable mattress and pillows. 5-star bed.
Water pressure in the shower is weak - 60% of what I would have liked.
Bottled water and milk in the fridge is a nice touch. Crockery and cutlery provided in the kitchen.
You will have to lug your luggage up 1 flight of stairs as there's no lift.

The hotel is located near the market and has its own backyard that can fit about ten cars. Coles and McDonald's are a twenty-minute walk away, and there's a Chinese restaurant right across the street. It's also very close to the port.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is the closest one to Cradle Mountain, with several hiking trails directly accessible from the property, ranging from 10 minutes to three-day treks. The walk-in bar/restaurant is excellent; we tried the pizza and steak over two days, both of which were delicious, and the beer was good too. My favorite feature was definitely the gas fireplace in the room. We encountered rain at Cradle Mountain, and spending an evening by the fireplace completely dried our clothes.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the city centre. Parking costs about AUD 40+ per day. Overall it was okay. We stayed three nights with breakfast included. The breakfast was fine, but one staff member in the restaurant was extremely impolite and unprofessional. It left a bad impression — and I’m not sure whether her behaviour was linked to us being Asian, though she herself appeared to be Asian.
