When we first arrived at the hotel, the front desk sold us the expensive room in the main building, but we didn't want it because there was no balcony. When we got to the room, it didn't seem to be the balcony room we booked, so we changed it again. The Asian restaurant was quite expensive and didn't taste good. It was Michelin, the standard of a normal Thai restaurant in China. People probably went there just for the view and the spa.

This resort is really great. Many politicians who come to Switzerland for meetings will choose to vacation here. This is also where Hepburn got married. My daughter and I stayed here for one night while travelling to Italy. It’s convenient and at the same time its position between the lake and mountains enabled us to get a taste of typical Swiss scenery. The staff speak English and it appears the hotel has a lot of British guests from Leger Holidays. Our room was large but very utilitarian. There was no kettle or fridge. We enjoyed our dinner there and breakfast was good although some items were sparse as the coach guests had been through. Our meal was expensive for what it was but we expected that.
