Hotels With Breakfast in Northern Mindanao, Philippines

Good budget hotel at the heart of CDO. Staff are friendly and the room is ok for me. The water may need checking as sometimes the water in the shower is murky.

Staying at Kokomo made our trip to Camiguin so much better! Irene the owner and her partner David are wonderful hosts. They made our stay smooth by assisting with scooter hiring, booking tours, giving tips about what to do in the island and much much more. The room size is very good, shower is hot, aircon was working perfectly (the room was cool after 5 minutes) and the bed mattress is very comfortable! We also had hangers outside to dry our dive gear and wet clothes. The pool area and gardens are very beautiful and well maintained, the staff were always tidying up the place and cleaning. The dive shop at the resort is super good with clean and new looking equipment. The dive guides we had were super attentive and friendly, we had a lot of fun! The reef in front of the hotel is very good for snorkeling. The resort has a very peaceful vibe, Irene and David made us feel like we were home! We stayed for seven nights and at the end I didn’t want to leave haha I would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone.

You got what you pay for. It's okay for a couple of days to stay. The staff are great and the location is even better

The room was spacious. We had a great stay! The only problem was that my son couldn’t use the television because of low internet connection. Tried the local channel but only 1 channel is available.

Hotel is old. It has bed bugs as well. Aircon is too cold and there is no option to lower the temp since the control is not woking. Hubby and i got sick due to molds. I ask if we could change room but since it is fully book daw. They cannot do about it. Location and price is superb. However, it is really regret on my end.

The condotel itself is nice, and the location is very convenient. It’s in a busy area with lots of food options and establishments nearby, so there’s no shortage of places to eat. However, there are a few downsides. The hotel is right beside the highway, so it can be really noisy, especially at night. We woke up several times because of the loud motorcycles passing by. If you’re a light sleeper, this is definitely something to consider. For the breakfast, I had read in a prior booking review that they only provide breakfast from Jollibee, which is why we didn’t get a breakfast inclusion when we booked. I also asked the reception directly during our stay if they offer breakfast, and they confirmed that they do not have their own breakfast service and that breakfast is sourced from Jollibee. The housekeeping staff was also not very friendly. Whenever we asked for something, they seemed annoyed, and they didn’t really smile or show much warmth when interacting with guests. This was one area where we felt the service could definitely be improved. On the other hand, the reception staff and manager were accommodating. They were willing to help whenever we asked for suggestions, especially regarding transportation and places to visit. Overall, the condotel itself and the location are good, but the road noise and our experience with some of the housekeeping staff affected our stay. With better soundproofing and more welcoming housekeeping service, the overall experience could be much better.

The hotel itself as a lot of potential. Right on the beach, with a nice terrace and in a quiet location not far from a few restaurants. However, it is very old and would need a full renovation. The rooms are spacious but the amenities are old. The headboard of our bed was full of termites and we could hear them behind us while we were sleeping. Therefore, the whole room was also full of flying termites. It was overall not that clean either. We stayed there for 4 nights and they never came to clean the room, not even the bathroom’s bin. On the last day, the bathroom started smelling like mold. The smell was very strong and we couldn’t do anything to change that. Also, on our last day, we were supposed to leave at 3:30am to go take our 4:30am ferry, the reception having organized a pick-up for us. However, we were woken up by the reception at 2:15am saying our pick-up was already here. The pick-up told us when we were telling him that we were supposed to leave at 3:30am to take the ferry at 4:30 that this ferry didn’t exist and we had to leave now, which we ended up doing. At the pier, when we saw that the 4:30am ferry actually existed, we texted the guy from the pick-up and this time he said that the hotel’s reception had told him to come pick us up at 2:15am. Anyways, I don’t know where was the problem and misunderstanding, but it was not the best way to start our day… To sum up, very mixed feelings about this hotel.

I recently stayed at Sogo CDO, and I am truly satisfied with the overall experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished, making it easy to settle in and relax after a long day of travel. I also appreciated the hotel’s amenities, which were thoughtfully provided and added to the comfort of my stay. Every interaction with the staff reflected genuine hospitality, and they were always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, the hotel delivered on all my expectations. I left with a sense of satisfaction and gratitude for such an enjoyable stay. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and accommodating experience.

Our quick stay was nice. The pool was spectacular! We enjoyed it so much! Our room was okay. We were initially offered with a bigger room as there were 5 of us but we chose to stay in the 4 person cabana as we found the bigger room stuffy and the toilet was sunken. The receptionist was very nice and quick to respond to this request. Our cabana was fine but the hotel could look into ”child proofing” the room as the double deck corners are a bit dangerous. We had to wrap the corners with bath towels. The sliding doors of the toilet and shower room could also do a little maintaining as they were already rusty. We loved the garden and surrounding area. It was so serene and gave us a very relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for morning coffee. The chicken bbq we had for dinner by the pool area was very tasty. Our breakfast was okay. The location is good. It's not too far from the airport and walkable distance to the White Beach Port (around 30 mins) and restaurants. There's also a scooter renting place in front of the hotel entrance. The staff were very warm and helpful. They allowed us to store luggage in the reception area upon checkout while we went to the White Beach and wait for pick up. Kudos to Benj and Grace for their top-notch hospitality and honesty! We highly recommend this for a budget friendly stay.

The perfect location for me - very accessible☺️ One ride away if you want the night market/ halang halang; if you’re tired to go far; lots of restaurants to choose from; massage; salon; grocery - everything you need - just few steps away! Just read what they have inside the room and don’t expect too much but location wise, amazing! . Love that they have Laundry service too - same price as outside - rush😉☺️ Nice staff as well (including the guards☺️🙏🏽)
