We were completely exhausted when we checked in and delighted to find a comfy bed with lovely views over the river. We rested for a while and then went to the spa. The pool was just the right temperature as was the sauna and steam room. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed a great meal it was very tasty and served quickly. I'm vegan and gluten free and the choice for me was excellent. We then strolled around outside for a while catching the setting sun. The scenery was gorgeous. We slept really well and again enjoyed the spa facilities before a hearty breakfast and checked put completely refreshed at 11am the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great wee last min deal so got away for a night seen a friend , all good , twin beds are big and comfortable, breakfast is nice they only do scrambled egg tho rest is ok , i think every scottish hotel should have haggis instead of the dried out black pudding , Good stay i slept in a bit and i didnt get any hassle

The service for food was Ok, food nice too. Room TV was not working and no intercom telephone in the room, making it difficult to reach the customer service when needed. wifi was not too strong as expected, probably due to room position. there was no complimentary drinking water in the room but there was nice complimentary tea in room. there was Ironing board but no Iron in the room, because of NO intercom , reaching customer service for an iron was not possible as my time was running. I could say the position is nice and the worker are friendly

Not very happy about services , first of all the breakfast was very very low quality , not any type of fruit was available, no juice apart of a box just can get 45p from Asda No croissant at all Toilet flush handle was exactly back side of your seat and covered by toilet lid when you on seat ,, When i booked the hotel was promised room will be air conditioned but when get room a 10 inch table fan was as air conditioned 😆 which was very noisy at night Cleaning was good Staff was well behaved

Special requests we didn't get...saw 4 other rooms to accommodate our nice view .2 wine glasses...2 chairs to sit at window to see a view...had to take last offer as this point it was 5.30pm....room had sour smell in it.catpet all stained..cups all stained.winfows broken handles .. condensation in windows...1 bath towel...linen was spotless...lovely friendly staff..very chatty...to compensate us we got a free drink .free breakfast....

Perfect if you want to stay over night for yourself or for business trip. There’s a bar and restaurant at the location. The room I stayed was small, but was clean and perfect if your need a room to stay overnight. Hotel is in a good location. Staff were kind and helpful

My partner & I had a very pleasant stay at the Strathaven Hotel. Our room was very comfortable & very clean with a lovely view of the Scottish scenery. Breakfast was lovely & all staff were very pleasant & helpful. We would 100% stay again at this charming hotel.

It was a lovely hotel. The food and service was very good. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was huge and we really enjoyed it.

Nice friendly clean and a good breakfast in the morning will stop again if in the area
