Hotels With Bars in West Sumatra, Indonesia

Lovely rooms clean and well laid out We had two issues - the hotel has a bar and had a number of wines and sujo on the menu but had none of any. These are essential for tourists at this type of hotel At breakfast we ordered coffee  It was so slow coming that we had to leave before it arrived  Which was very disappointing as I like coffee with my breakfast The breakfast selection was good

Excellent service with delicious food... the outdoor pool is decent, but the water needs to be changed more often... but overall, it's great!

Big room with balcony. Great staff. 24hrs room service. Only is the toilet is not clean. Theres a mold. & look old. But the room is nice. The bed is soft. Sleep well. U can ask the reception to book for a body massage at all times. The breakfast was great with full of local food. Night time they have a live band which u can sing along or just request any songs. The restaurant served delicious food. Its not expensive. Location only 5mins walk to Ramayana & Jam Gadang.

It is the best hotel nearest to every POI in bukittinggi. The hotel's Saka Cafe level 4 provides great ambience and view overlooking scenic town view and panoramic view of the mountain and valley. The superior family room we were staying in is spacious and comfortable most suitable for 3 people. The breakfast was decent serving traditional delicacy. Toast and cereal for kids are available. The seating is limited but there was no queue problem. The exception is the only lift operational is slow serving 6 levels. However, we got around this by using stairs which are quite steep and hard on my poor knees. So, if you are visiting together with elderly with walking difficulty perhaps it would be best to stay in the rooms nearest to the ramp nearby the reception.

It was great experience with BASKO. If you are not familiar with Indonesian food, i recommend strongly nasi goreng in restaurant (for breakfast buffet). And also I want to bring this hotel's orange juice to home. It was the best juice I've ever had. Room service available 24hour. Room is maintain their clearance, but one of disappointing point is sewer, it can't drain well 😭

Big hotel. Wifi unstable. Breakfast is good. Location a bit away from the main town.

The stay was great, but they didn't provide any slippers. I requested them, but they were never delivered, even after I called the front desk multiple times. Oh well.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the restrooms are spotless. The lobby is also quite appealing. The Eid al-Fitr buffet was delicious, and the location is very convenient. I highly recommend Mercure Hotel; it was a great experience.

The cleanliness of the hotel was well maintained, and the rooms were comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking mountain view, which created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, especially in the mornings. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with beautiful scenery in Bukittinggi.
