The room size was decent, not small by Japanese standards. The decor felt quite new. They even had Braille identification at the elevator, which was a nice touch. The hotel is right in the city center, making transportation very convenient. It's really close to the Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, just a few minutes' walk. The area felt safe and quiet. My only minor gripe was that there was a front desk staff member on the first day, but I didn't see them on the subsequent two days. It seems like many hotels in Japan are moving towards self check-in now, which I'm still getting used to as I don't visit often.
our original hotel booking at mitsui garden got force cancelled due to maintenance so this hotel was our alternative & it did not disappoint!
service : front desk & staff were very friendly & allowed to store our luggages till evening the next day! [10/10]
room : size was alright for the price, very clean [10/10]
location : amazing, located within walking distance of hiroshima station [10/10]
cost : amazing, given that this was our alternative offered as compensation, its amazing [10/10]
miku & I enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます!
Extremely satisfied with this hotel! The room was spacious and modern, and its proximity to the station was a huge plus. The service was impeccable; I dropped off my luggage in the morning, and by the time I checked in later, it was already in my room. They even changed the sheets every day during my multi-night stay. Among all the hotels I've stayed at in Japan at a similar price point, this one is by far the best.
Very grand hotel, dated in the age of build. Very clean bathroom and beds. Amazing, grand entrance way. Very close to sightseeing areas and local sighseening bus stops. Excellent view of the city. Lots of personal amenity provided (toothbrush etc). Access to gym/fitness centre is additional (substantial) costs.
Lovely staff with excellent English.
The front desk staff were very friendly, but the room's soundproofing wasn't great; I could hear noise from the hallway at night. The mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, which made it hard to get comfortable. It's a decent option for budget travelers looking for a short stay.
The hotel is conveniently located on the second floor of the JR station, but the number of rooms is limited. I stayed in a standard double room, which was quite small. I couldn't open two 28-inch suitcases without moving furniture. The front desk staff were professional and easy to communicate with.
I thought the bathtub in this room had hot spring water, but it turns out it didn't.
It was a waste of the hotel's view; next time I'll definitely book an ocean view room.
The hotel's breakfast and dinner selection wasn't extensive, but everything was exquisite.
The steamed oysters, in particular, were incredibly delicious.
The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, greeting me upon arrival and seeing me off at check-out. The location is excellent, right next to the station with plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's own restaurant is superb. The bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfortable, truly impressive – I even considered buying some to take home! The environment was clean and hygienic, and the windows were so spotless they seemed to disappear, giving me a fantastic impression of Hiroshima overall. The only minor downsides were the hairdryer wasn't great, and the shampoo and shower gel weren't big brands, leaving my hair a bit stiff.
it was the only airport at the Hiroshima airport. free shuttle is given. it is convenient for flying in and out if u need a night next to airport. price is reasonable for quality given.
After all, it's a high-end IHG hotel, so the facilities are very complete. Although the room isn't huge, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. There are many 24-hour convenience stores nearby, and it's also very convenient for dining and business meals. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming. If I travel to Changdao again for business, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hostel had a great location. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but you had your privacy.
Toilets and shower were very clean.
All in all a nice hostel to stay for 1 or two nights. For a longer stay I would recommend a different one because the beds weren’t that comfortable:))

AAnonymous UserThe single room I stayed in was more spacious than I expected, and I didn't feel cramped at all.
The room had a small chair, which was very practical as I could sit and watch TV or relax.
The overall environment was clean and tidy, and I had a comfortable stay with good rest.
The hotel offers free parking, which is very convenient for travelers with cars; we actually used it.
There's also a bus stop shuttle service, which is very convenient for travelers without cars or those who need to travel to and from the station.
A convenience store is about a 3-minute walk from the hotel, making it very convenient for quick shopping.
A large supermarket is about an 8-minute walk away, which is very useful for buying drinks and prepared foods.
Overall, the hotel offers good transportation and amenities, and I highly recommend it to travelers with cars or those who need parking. It offers great value for money, and I would consider staying here again if I visit Onomichi again.
GGuest UserI was able to relax in a clean room. It was a bit of a hassle to go to the bath. The lounge was well-equipped and I could relax and have a drink. The view was great, with the sea right in front of me, so it was also good for a walk. Overall, it was a relaxing hotel.
GGuest UserThe facilities are very new and the equipment is very sufficient. The room has a hot spring for private use. There is free parking and handwriting downstairs for purchase. There is also a natural hot spring bath for use.
AAnonymous UserThe price is really cheap, 10 minutes walk from Yokogawa Station. Downstairs is 711 for the whole family. Attractions are not afraid of trouble to walk for 10 minutes to the city center. The disadvantage is that there is no curtain in this room, the hotel does not have an elevator, in fact, it is a hotel converted into an apartment in Japan, and the water flow in the bath is so small. Check-in is basically self-service, stayed for 3 days, except to see the young lady who cleaned in the morning, did not see anyone at the front desk. If you save money, you can consider living, health is justified, and the residential areas next to it are quiet.
