We regularly stay @ Zenith for countless times. Though the hotel isn't as grand as other 5 stars, the service & cleanliness has been consistent over the years. The location is strategic & convenient. There's charging station for EV car too & we can leave our car for charging with ease. We had drinks @ the cafe & were impressed by the simple honey lemon drinks & Rose chrysanthemum tea that we ordered. Will stay regular either for holidays or work.
Room: Clean, big bed, spacious, can watch Kuantan town from room and also Ive can watch moon at night.
Bathroom: The water pressure so low, and the shower bathroom floor not clean.
Breakfast: Nice place, not so much food but still good.
Location: Nearby kedai makan but if wanna go to mall, need to take a ride.
The location is just nice. Great scenary, not too cold but not hot. It's windy when we were there.
For me here one day trip is just enough as there is just a small area unless you want to stay for a night there.
The room was spacious but no carpet - cold for out feet. We got an upgrade room but unfortunately the elevator not working to the first floor, they apologized to use by giving 10% off for food to bought there.
Breakfast - we booked with breakfast , satisfied with many choices available and good taste too.
For the restaurant around there- not really satisfied as not so much choices plus pricy compared to the food served.
Brought my child to the rabbit farm and Japanese garden - it's free for those who stayed at the Colmar Tropicale.
The place is very instagrammable and the staffs are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the weather was bad, it was raining all day so we could not enjoy the beach view. The room is very comfortable and the cleanliness is a top-notch 👌🏼 overall it was a great stay, just the minus of the weather which i couldnt spend time enjoying the beach or sunset/sunrise. There are many restaurants nearby the hotel, so it was really easy if you are looking for places to eat besides the hotel.
I enjoyed my stay at Shahzan Hotel Kuantan, especially as a business traveller needing a quick rest. The hotel is centrally located in town, making it very convenient with easy access to food and nearby amenities.
The breakfast selection was basic but reasonable for the price. The air conditioning was super cold, and the shower water pressure was excellent—definitely a plus after a long day. Underground parking is free, though spaces are quite limited.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I would consider staying here again in the future. 😊
The building was very dated, the smell of the air refresher was too overpowering and from the lobby to corridor and to the lift, all smells are different. The smell in the lift was unbearable.
For the price and the name of Hyatt, I expected much better quality in the rooms and amenities. The gym was old, dark and low ceiling. The restaurant was too small for the number of rooms. You have to queue to go for breakfast. The food was mediocre. No taste in the vegetable lodeh, dhal. The coffee from the coffee machine was bad, too bitter and acidic.
I definitely don’t recommend this hotel. It felt like a 3 star instead of a 5 star. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is located next to the beach.
We stayed at Chateau Spa, Bukit Tinggi for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was a truly pleasant and relaxing experience. The resort was peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect place to unwind and celebrate a special occasion.
The room was clean, and the toilet was well kept, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff service was truly tip-top—everyone was attentive, caring, and clearly prioritised our wellbeing and comfort throughout our stay. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out.
As for the food, breakfast and the buffet were fine, but the à la carte meals for lunch and dinner were definitely worth the money. The portion sizes matched the price well, and there was a good variety of Western and Malay cuisine. We tried the Western dishes, including salmon and steak, and they were delicious.
The spa prices were affordable, though booking in advance is recommended. We visited during the last few days of December, and the weather was cold and lovely, adding to the overall relaxing experience. We left feeling happy, refreshed, and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway or a special celebration.
Check in only at 5pm. I was at the lobby at 4pm but room not ready at that time. Very disappointed.
Nothing as complimentary
It is a big unit or bungalow unit that i took but they only gave 4 towels. I ask for additional towel they want to charge RM10 just to provide additional towel.
Additional blanket they charge me RM40 for 2 towels..
Location very good. Everything else was good too
The room was nice and spacious, which made the stay very comfortable. The breakfast spread was okay, and the best item was definitely the seri muka — really delicious. The location is also very convenient, being close to malls and plenty of restaurants.
However, the parking was a downside. It’s quite far from the hotel, there’s no roof, and the number of parking spots is very limited.
Overall, it’s a good place to stay, but the parking situation could be improved.
Interesting hotel with a large pool and comfortable kids' pool. The children loved it. My only suggestion is that the rooms could use better soundproofing. Otherwise, everything was good.

Ssaree3Amma make this one short,
The place is nice, staff were amazing, food could be alot better i mean depedns its almost all Asian.
For all coming to visit, this place is more like a romantic trip than a family vacay.
The beach is very bad TBH its all rocky, no beach front that you can actually lay on and enjoy the dash o'water
The closest lets say snorkelling requires a package purchase or if you know a sea taxi, as relying on this beach's marine life its sad, dead coral everywhere.
MmangosellerI stayed at Crockfords Hotel Genting in early October 2025 and was genuinely disappointed by the level of service — especially for a hotel that claims to be Malaysia’s leading luxury property.
On 3 October, I approached the concierge Duty Manager around 9:40am regarding the hotel Wi-Fi, which kept showing an “invalid credentials” error. Instead of taking the initiative to verify the problem — which turned out to be something as simple as incorrect login details given at check-in — he insisted that the IT team would need to come into my room to fix it.
Later in the day, another staff member resolved the issue within minutes by simply checking the credentials. It’s baffling how the Duty Manager couldn’t do something that basic.
Throughout my stay, I also noticed that many of the staff seemed lost and unsure of how to handle simple situations — almost like the blind leading the blind. There was a clear lack of coordination and communication among them.
The breakfast experience was another major letdown. I had breakfast there for three consecutive days, and throughout, the food was never hot — the noodles in soup were the only consistently warm item served. To make matters worse, the staff did not communicate properly among themselves. On one morning, we were told to wait while a table by the window was being cleared for us. After waiting a good five minutes, another group of guests was allowed to take the exact table we were waiting for. The explanation given was simply that “the other guests wanted the table.” Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed calibre.
The only saving grace was the Duty Manager working on 5 Oct and overseeing the breakfast buffet, who was attentive, proactive, and took the initiative to check if guests needed drinks or assistance. His professionalism truly stood out amidst the confusion elsewhere.
For a hotel that boasts winning the Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Award seven years in a row, this experience was frankly a joke. The gap between Crockfords’ reputation and its actual service standards is staggering.
Truly disappointing and nowhere near what one would expect from a so-called luxury hotel.
PS: At least the view was great.

AAmir HamzahA Great Stay at Berjaya Tioman Resort
We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Berjaya Tioman Resort. We booked two rooms and were pleasantly surprised to receive connecting rooms, which made our stay much more convenient and comfortable especially for families.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the island. One unexpected perk was that can drinks in the hotel were complimentary, which was a nice touch and added to the overall value of the stay.
Breakfast offered a variety of food selections, catering to different tastes. While the spread was decent, the taste could be improved to better match the quality of the rest of the resort experience.
Overall, Berjaya Tioman Resort provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely consider returning in the future.

MMarina YoshiWe stayed one night at 1001 Nights Hotel during our Genting trip and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel has a unique Arabian-inspired theme, which makes it feel different from the usual highland hotels — very Instagrammable, especially around the lobby and common areas.
The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for a short family stay. Beds were cozy, and basic amenities were well provided. Although the room size was moderate, it was sufficient for resting after a full day out.
Location-wise, it’s convenient if you’re driving, with easy access to Genting attractions. Parking was available, which was a plus. The surroundings were calm and quiet, perfect for winding down.
Staff were friendly and helpful during check-in and throughout our stay. While facilities are relatively simple (don’t expect a full resort setup), it’s good value for money, especially for a short stopover or transit stay in Genting.
Pros:
• Unique Arabian theme & nice ambience
• Clean and comfortable rooms
• Friendly staff
• Good value for money
Cons:
• Limited facilities
• Better suited for short stays
Overall, a nice alternative if you’re looking for something different in Genting Highlands without breaking the bank. Would consider staying again for a short getaway.

AAnonymous UserThe Hotel is super located direct in the national park. Staff is friendly and offered breakfast and dinner were for us more than enough. Tours can be booked directly there. Only topic is that the cabins have seen already better times, the equipment is old and our first cabin hasn’t really light inside and the balcony was directly connected to the rain forest. After we changed the cabin it was much more better.
AAnonymous UserThe place is quite clean but the view is fantastic! It might be a bit confusing for some people to find their hotel room since they have lots of towers but if you follow the instructions and signs, you will find your room. Will come here again for sure 😊 oh you can just watch the sunrise from the hotel too!
