Hotel is refurbished and it all looks fresh and clean.
Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, good lighting and a great bathroom with good shower.
Easy walk to square.

Elephant MomDream place. Didn't expect we could see sunrise of Mount Doom from the room! Great view of the sunset from the state-of-the art communal kitchen. 😲 Interior design is so tasteful. Very clean, genuinely environmentally friendly, and well equipped. Delicious dinner. Very helpful and friendly host and staff.

The manager was incredibly kind and friendly. The room condition was excellent; upon our evening arrival, the manager had thoughtfully pre-heated the room for us. The spacious bathroom, with safety bars for seniors/mobility impaired, was impressive. Our children enjoyed Netflix. Breakfast, served personally by the manager from 7:30 AM, was delicious, and the warm hospitality in the quaint dining area created a memorable experience for our family. Special thanks to the adorable Lucky and to the manager for these precious memories. We will definitely visit again.

Arrived into Whanganui and found the hotel easily. After checking in, very easily, we went to our room.
Not sure how old the hotel is, but the hall way & guest lounge very 1920’s with modern touches - comfortable & elegant.
Our room was another elegant room with lovely touches accenting the period of the property.
Though looking “old” the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a corner whirlpool bath, as well as a shower too.
We ate in the restaurant that evening & both of us had a lovely meal. Great stay & definitely recommend it.

Guest UserThis hotel is located near a famous snowy mountain, offering great value for money. Dinner is simple, with only pizza available, which means no other options. The staff are friendly and always ready to answer any questions. Since it's in a small town, there are hardly any shopping malls, but it's very quiet. We had a great night's rest.

location is good
However, I mistook it for breakfast included, so I ate breakfast and charged it.
Trip.com says $24 per person.
The counter asked for $28.
Of course, I paid 24 dollars, but it felt a little like that.
I had a good rest anyway

The hotel in this place is very popular. In Ctrip, there are three hotels, and finally booked in this hotel. Hotel location is good, single occupancy is convenient, no breakfast has been used here.
