Check-in was very efficient, and staff member Elena had a gentle demeanor, without being overly enthusiastic to the point of awkwardness. The room was thoroughly cleaned, with no unpleasant odors, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The hot water and water pressure were consistently good. The hotel also includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and a complimentary late-night noodle dish. It's conveniently located just a 5-minute walk across from Guangzhou East Station. The bedding was comfortable, and there were various pillow options, leading to a good night's sleep. The hotel's amenities are very practical; the afternoon tea and late-night noodles are nice perks. There's also a free gym and laundry room, which are very useful for business travelers. The location is convenient for getting around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. While not particularly stunning, everything was up to par, offering good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

This hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location. Right downstairs, you'll find a lively pedestrian street and a large shopping mall, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. I stayed in a high-floor room, which offered expansive views of the city skyline – truly a fantastic sight. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, making the check-in process efficient and thoughtful. The room itself was very clean and tidy, with well-maintained facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience.

The decor is that minimalist yet luxurious style, with warm lighting and wooden tones creating an amazing ambiance. No need for filters when taking photos 📸~ The room was super spacious! The bedding was so soft and fluffy, like sleeping on a cloud ☁️. I fell into a deep sleep in 3 seconds 💤, and woke up the next day with no backaches or sore muscles – a dream come true for a working professional! 🙌 As someone who pays attention to details, I absolutely loved it! 👏 The bathroom had a super clean wet and dry separation, and the toiletries had a citrus scent 🍊. After washing my hair, it was so smooth I could film a commercial! Plus, there were smart curtains and Xiaodu voice control – just say ”turn on the lights” and the whole room brightens up. Full of tech! 💡 What touched me the most was the service!! The front desk lady was as gentle as a best friend 👭, proactively asking if I needed a specific pillow type and even sending welcome fruits 🍇! I left my charger when checking out, and they immediately helped me retrieve it after I called. Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

So comfortable! The room felt a bit bigger than typical family rooms, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were lovely. Especially at night, it was so cozy. The front desk lady was very gentle too. Staying near the South Station with a shuttle service was super convenient. The treadmill in the gym was pretty good as well. I slept soundly for two nights. The bamboo in the bathroom was a nice design touch. It almost felt like bamboo was growing on my head while I was on the toilet!

Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are well-maintained. However, the elevator noise at night was quite disturbing, and the soundproofing was a bit poor as I could hear movements from the adjacent room. The staff at Dongfang Hui were very good and their service was on point. The canned mineral water really didn't taste very good. The bottled mineral water in the mini-bar tasted nice, but unfortunately there was only one bottle, and the other was sparkling water. Also, there were too many carbonated drinks. It would be great to have more variety, like drinks such as Oriental Leaves. Breakfast was generally okay, but some of the ribs and siu mai had a slightly fishy taste.

Had a very pleasant stay at Yizhi Hotel, Taikoo Li Zhujiang New Town. We arrived in the wee hours and the check-in was smooth and hassle-free, which was a big plus after long journey. The room and toilet were clean, tidy and, most importantly, no unpleasant smell. They provide the necessary disposable toiletries too. The bathroom layout was also very practical — the shower and toilet are in two separate areas. The shower has really good water pressure, and the toilet flushing system is strong too. A special mention to 晴晴 (Qing Qing), who was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. When we had an issue with the Wi-Fi in the room, she followed up with us via WeChat and even arranged for a technician to come and check it. The location is excellent! Shipaiqiao Metro Station is literally next to the hotel, making it super convenient to get around Guangzhou. There are also big shopping malls nearby (left,right and opposite side), so shopping and dining are just a short walk away. Another big plus is the row of eateries and cafés just behind the hotel, including McDonald’s — very handy if you have children or suddenly feel hungry late at night. There are also plenty of food choices along the side of the hotel, so definitely won’t go hungry. And one feature I really appreciated — the laundry room! There are clean washing machines and dryers, plus a standing ironing board. The room and machines are well maintained as the staff have a regular schedule to keep the area clean. Best of all, the laundry facilities are FREE for in-house guests! 🙌🏻 Definitely a bonus, especially for longer stays. Another fun and useful touch is the delivery robot! If you order food or have a small delivery, the robot can bring it up to your room, so you don’t have to go down to the lobby to collect it. Very convenient, especially when you’re tired or already in your pyjamas! The only minus point: the lift can take a little longer to arrive, especially during busy periods. So just be prepared to wait a little. Overall, a very comfortable, clean and convenient stay with friendly service and lots of thoughtful facilities.

The location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. It's also close to shopping malls like Guomao and Vanke, so it's great for shopping. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff was very responsive to all our requests. I highly recommend it for your 51 (May Day) holiday trip!

Qiu Guo Hotel has a great ambiance; the lobby is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are clean and bright, and the smart devices are convenient and easy to use. Housekeeping is meticulous, and the bedding is dry and fresh. The front desk service is warm, and check-out is quick. The accompanying laundry room is very practical. It's an excellent choice for travel accommodation.
